So I just noticed that the facebook app has been using an insane amount of mobile radio active time. This only happens on when I'm using mobile data (yeah obvious because it's mobile radio active time) but this has never happened on any of my previous devices or on Wi-Fi also the time recorded not been this high!!

Also to add these images. Was on mobile data all the time. What exactly is causing this?

I believe it just shows how long it has been since you turned on mobile data and the app usage records it (I see you're on LTE on all images) - check awake times instead.

Yep. GSam Monitor shows awake time which was acceptable. Never seen anything like this before on Wi-Fi though.

I accidently turned off my browser bar when a pop-up intruded an email I was typing. I have no idea what the browser bar setting is but I cannot connect to any wifi network now. So I open up settings and clicked on the browser bar tab and it fc's settings every time. I tried a reboot, and clearing cache in recovery but it still won't let me turn the browser bar on. Any ideas here?
Not that I was at all impressed with the wifi capabilities on this device. My connectivity has been nothing short of pathetic and I've followed every rumored fix to no avail. I think I'm ready to try a factory data reset before my 14 days are up.
Again, any help is appreciated.

Exact same issue here.
This phone has the best WiFi I have had with any phone. There is a dead spot at my work wifi that all phones I have had would lose connection. So far, I have yet to lose connection with my 3 there.

It's very strange that the browser bar would have any effect on wifi connectivity to begin with. I've had it disabled for a while and haven't had any wifi problems.
Samsung has a bunch of performance/bug issues they seriously need to iron out. It's almost like they don't beta test these devices before they churn them out.
Is it you change to make WiFi and mobile data go to sleep when screen is off ,can't remember which things I need to change .Thanks for any help

The wifi shuts off if there is no signal available, and the sleep mode function for data should still be there under the power tab. If these don't help, try doing it manually with widgets or quick settings (most reliable if you do it manually).
In my Abo the mobile data of a streaming app don't count for the usage. So the streaming app has an unlimited data amount.
When i'm in wifi, the stream don't work well, because my parents are using the wifi as well, and our router isn't the newest one So I would like to run the streaming app always through mobile data to save capacity in the wifi. Is there any way to do that ?
P.S. I have root.
P.P.S. I hope this is the right place for this thread
P.P.P.S. I'm sorry for my english
Just turn off the wifi when you open the streaming app, that are only two clicks

Yeah I know that, but I want to use other apps simultaneously with wifi.
*push*
probably impossible, it will use one or the other when both are active, wifi takes preference over 3g unless the app itself has something to force it via 3g and bypass the wifi its unlikely
Hello,
I was having a strange WiFi and Mobile Data intermittent issue. The phone would lose data (both WiFi and mobile) and would not connect to the internet. This happens about every 5 minutes.
I just RUUed to the latest. It was fine. I rooted using the latest TWRP recovery. Then it started having the same issues.
Is it not possible to have consistently working data while rooted?
Thank you!

My battery stats show wifi as on most of the time even when my wifi is off, continuous scanning and available network notification are off so why does the phone think wifi is always on?

It's a bug. There's a thread about it somewhere. WiFi isn't actually on, it's just reported that way in battery stats.
