Hello,
I am not able to enter fastboot mode on my Xperia SP C5306 12.0.A.2.254. I have it rooted and with CWM. I have USB debugging enabled.
I have tried three methods of attempting to enter fastboot mode. Via the volume up/usb cable option, the .bat option, and using an app. None have worked.
I am running on Windows 7.
Is there anyway to fix this?
Thank you
Forgot to add that in the Service Menu, it says "Bootloader unlock allowed: No".

Welcome to the world of the ever locked bootloader.
Nothing you can do except try our decent array of LBL roms.

Maybe it has something to do with my carrier locking the phone?

That is most likely the case.

So I've unlocked the bootloader on my xperia Z the official way. Entered the unlock key and it was successful.
However, if I try to write a recovery in fastboot I get the error : Remote: not allowed.
I have made sure I have the correct drivers and all but it still doesn't work. Even tried unlocking it again with a second unlock key.
How can I fix this?
bump, still no cure found
Any help would be appreciated
Try to boot in recovery does that work?

Yeah that's what I thought, but my bootloader is unlockable and I've done it the official way, twice!
How can I properly unlock it?

not only allowed or not
if you have locked bootloader it says it is allowed
if you have unlocked bootloader it says that your bootloader is unlocked
you can check your bootloader by this way , cause your error determines that u have lockbootloader

It's not really unlocked.
Use flashtool, click the blu option and you can properly unlock the bootloader.

Unlock bootloader without losing DRM keys
Hey guys
I have a similar problem. I want to flash DoomLord's custom kernel but the command is not allowed. I found out bootloader unlock allowed does not mean it is unlocked yet, so that is the problem why it is not allowed. However, I do want to backup my DRM keys first. Is this possible? My phone was rooted before I flashed 4.3, so it is not rooted anymore.
Oh I have a Xperia Z 4.3 c6603 flashed with the ftf supplied by doomlord.

u welcome!
just checked the screenshot says that BL unlock allowed: status YES which define that ur BL (bootloader) is not unlocked yet!
make sure u are using the appropriate tool that works for ur device after u get the BL code from Sony, then follow the instructions in Sony where u got the information about unlocking BL
first off... do not proceed with bl unlock until you backup your TA partition cuz u might brick ur phone after the unlock is done if something goes wrong!
is it's not really recommended... u can still root it with a locked bl and enjoy ROOT privileges... FYI, unlocking bl will erase DRM keys and might affect on ur TA partition too.... so keep in mind that Bravia Engine2 along with Track ID will stop working after unlocking ur BL
TA Partition backup
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2234627
so take it on ur own risk as im advising you not going for it!
good luck

If it says bootloader unlock allowed: no, then fastboot is missing from your phone which is necessary to unlock the bootloader. So yes, you cannot do that if that's the case.

Fastboot is always there... Even on carrier locked devices you can even flash a custom kernel if you want but it just won't boot you can also install a ROM for locked bootloader

Seriously?? Then might be we can find a solution somehow using custom kernels? But I have tried for hours I could never get into FASTBOOT mode. It went into FLASHTOOL(green light) mode but never into FASTBOOT mode. I inferred, FASTBOOT is missing from the device. I think it is missing.

I tried to flash many roms with flashtool but nothing change.
You lost network coverage but does it still offer to unlock the sim? And does that succeed?
And just to be sure, you did flash the correct stock ROM your model (C5302/C5303/C5306)?
If your bootloader magically relocked itself then sony pc companion should work (I know it sucks), have you tried repairing your firmware using that?

But if your bootloader is unlocked then the bootloader status should say "Bootloader Unlocked: Yes" or something along those lines.

Yes my bootloader is unlocked and my bootloader unlocking allow was 'YES'.

That is so unusual that you might want to check with fastboot if the bootloader really is locked. You can do that with the following fastboot command:
Code:
fastboot getvar secure
This will return "secure: yes" if the bootloader is really locked.
Anyway, have you tried a generic ROM for your device from this thread? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2311964
If you have a north american device (C5306) you might need a provider specific ROM.

Hello,
I just unlocked my bootloader, made a data restore, and everything seems to be fine.
But, when typing *#*#7378423#*#* the service menu does not appears (code is deleted from dialer but no menu). Don't know if it's normal on cm11.
I'd like to check if the bootloader is really unlocked before trying a 5.1.1 rom ... to avoid bad surprise ...
Thanls!
Hmm, the service code should work no matter what ROM your on..
You also van check with flashtool..
Thanks. Do you know what fastboot command to see if BL is unlocked ?
I meant flashmode and a programma flashtool on tour PC. Look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43355810
I didn't find a place in flashtool that shows the bootloader status ...
So, what can I do to make sure my bootloader is unlocked?
Only way is too flash a stock rom? no magic command or utility?

You try to unlock your bootloader. If it is locked then it will unlock otherwise your bootloader is already unlocked.
i come from Xperia Play R800 community and Modified XT897 becomes R800 game keyboard.
and now i bought a Xperia SP M35c ,only $25 from AliExpress. I want to experience the performance of the Adreno 320.
at first ,root and intall CMW successfully.but i can not unlock Bootloader, its said bootloader unkock allowed:no
it seems that first to unlock SIM lock . open the omnius website, but did not find the download address, only one invalid email address.
and now ,anyone know how to unlock bootloader?
im too young too send IMG link :crying:
You can't. When the status is no, only Sony or the original carrier can unlock the bootloader and they won't do it. Sorry.

SIM unlock can be done. Bootloader? No. Let me warn you: you will soft brick (or worse) your device if you try UB stuff on it. I repeat: there is no software way to unlock a bootloader if the status is "allowed: No". Sorry.

Fastboot key cannot work now. press Fastboot key (Volume up )at the same time to connect the other end of the USB-cable.
All buttons work fine in system.
Are there other ways to enter fastboot?

No. Like I've been saying: if the status is "allowed: no" it can't be done. You can't enter fastboot because it probably was disabled by your vendor. It has nothing to do with the keys.
