I am new to rooting and I've been searching all day and cannot find anything that has to do with N900A rooting on 4.4.4 or even downgrading back to 4.4.2, I really want to root my device but I can't find any information on how to do so with this device. If it helps this is the info that I've gathered for my device

however when I press the read spc button I get an error message that says/ A fatal error has occurred. Could not change SPC. Please ensure you downloaded the application for your particular phone./ The phone is definitely a Moto x / xt1056 and almost new I have not made any changes to the original system setup. I will appreciate any help or information that will help me win this battle.

Perhaps you can tell us what you are trying to accomplish here?
So far I have not seen this utility used with a Moto X. I'm thinking whatever you are trying to do is simply not possible on the Moto X.

if its your first time try to find youtube videos and followed op instructions.
I hate to be "that" guy but I'm done searching. Maybe it isn't showing up on the app for some reason but I've search for info on the Ping-pong root method and found only very vague info. Could we get a sticky on this method if there isn't one already. Seems counterintuitive to not have one.
Also, would anyone mind giving me the steps to do this on a stock, unrooted S6? I would greatly appreciate it.

This might help. But if you took the 5.1 update DO NOT USE THIS METHOD...https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=t50a8ivYLHw

Hey everyone,
just looking for some advice. I have a s5 that is on 5.0 and the build number of3.
my device is not rooted, and it doesnt look like root is available for lollipop yet.
I have a update, available I am assuming for the 5.1.1.
should i update it, or just stick where i am at, and hope root becomes available soon?
thanks so much!
I'd just wait . becuz marshmallow will be soon .also and who knows . chain fire is working really hard at systemless root and adding phone support all the time to diff phones with it.
