I'm eager to move on to 5.0LP, but not without my precious xposed modules.
Namely speaking, I really liked the feature in GravityBox that allowed me to block certain statusbar popups and change what the hardkeys do. Can anyone recommend an app that does this that works on 5.0?
Missing
Missing xposed so badly
This is the only reason I'm not waiting impatiently for Lollipop.

Hello!
I know there are some Threads about it already.
I've been searching the web (and xda) about hiding those Nexus navigation buttons in apps but with no success of what I want.
I have already posted this in Q&A but with no success.
REQUEST:
I want my navigation buttons to be ACTIVE on some apps, while I want those button to hide on the other apps with !!POSSIBILITY!! to activate them (indefinite, not only for some seconds) and deactivate when needed.
I don't want them to appear "above" everything like some apps and ways to do this offer. I want it stock, the way android 4.4 does this (eg. http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/1...go-truly-full-screen-hide-the-navigation-bar/)
With the latter I meant when on Home Screen - there should be transparent Button Bar (like stock 4.4) Not like apps that only offer full black
Do you think it is possible? Or maybe modified ROM could offer tweaked and improved android 4.4 "Full-screen Immersive mode" HERE.

Well considering the rom scene has yet to start up for cm or any other rom for that matter, I wouldn't hold your breath. I am sure it is possible, but I don't know if someone will make it, seeing as there isn't a huge demand for this. Roms like AOKP have features like autohide nav bar and swipe up to reveal but nobody has what you want (that I know of) and I don't think it will happen.

Maybe you are right, but still I hope for a solution that would extend that Immersive mode to all apps.
I already found a similar solution app called Full!Screen. It does almost what I want with one exception - I want it to activate with a Gesture - Like swipe down with 2 fingers? and deactivate with swipe up from the bottom
I don't like any notification bar toggles
Maybe I can get it to work
MOD EDIT: Thread closed as this is the wrong section for module requests. Please read these guidelines for more info.
Hello. It was a disappointment for many people the fact that in kitkat you can not hide installed apps from the tile as a native function. Before kitkat, we used to hide apps that are used in background and if we would like to unhide the App you should simply set the phone to show hidden apps and then it shows the option to unhide any hidden app . I think it would be great if someone could release this function.
Now that we're seeing the first release of Xposed for Lollipop, one of the first mods I'd like to see is disabling Heads Up notifications and going back to putting them all in the tray. Anyone know if any modules will be implementing this functionality soon? It's one of the strongest reasons my N5 is still on Kitkat.
I hate it too. Stays on screen way too long and no way to dismiss it without dismissing the notification. I've read that the module "notification ticker on lollipop" disables heads up but its done nothing for me on my OnePlus running cm12.

Hoping to see a module specifically for this soon.
You shouldn't expect mods written for stock to have a predictable effect on CM12. That's ultimately a functionality that CM12 needs to implement for themselves.
Me too. I really hate it when whatsapp notifications appear while I'm watching my videos or playing my games.
the "notification ticker on lollipop" module doesn't work well from what I've experienced.. works partially
EDIT: it does work
the thing is the module inside the xposed framework is 1.0 which is not good
but here is the 1.1 version which works good but from some reason is not shown in the xposed framework itself.. so youl have to download it and install it manually by yourself
I hate it too, but it looks very nice.. and after few weeks with Lollipop I feel that heads up notifications will be the worst when it shows on a full screen app ( MX Player, YouTube, Game ) and blocks 1/4 to even 3/4 the screen !!
So I would rather have an options to
1- set auto hide time for the notification.
2- option to hide the notification all times or only in full screen apps, or hide for/in specific list of apps
But I guess this will be too much for a mod. to do.
I would like to see a mod where you can slide *up* the notification and it disappears into the tray without being dismissed.
The Xposed General is not the correct section for module related questions/requests. Please read the guidelines of this section, as well as the forum rules. You're looking for this thread for module requests.
I want to upgrade to Android 7 and I need to replace my xposed mods.
As it looks like xposed will never catch up with AOSP development, I'm looking
for replacements for:
All notifications Expanded
App Settings (to change locales/language for single apps)
Battery Shutdown Manager
MinMinGuard
Network Speed Indicator
Smooth System Progress
UnbelovedHosts
Wifi Password
XPrivacy
YouTube AdAway
The most important ones are AppSettings and XPrivacy.
I use XPrivacy to restrict access to contacts, network and identifications.
Thanks for your help.
1. Being able to longpress on multitask to switch back and forth, without needing to double tap it.
2. Being able to longpress on back to kill the in-focus app.
I know I had this functionality with some sort of mod a few years ago, but I don't remember how. Would prefer if there's a lightweight magisk module or other mod with a small scope rather than some huge framework and/or a mod that has 300 features (some paid) of which only 2 are the ones I mentioned.
The only one that I know of is GravityBox. It has a section about navbar remapping; sure it also has tons of other features that you might not be interested in but wish there would be a newer option to modify the navbar
