Hey guys, I was planning to unlock my HTC Desire C using Desire_C_All-In-One_Kit_v2.0 but every time i try to unlock the boot-loader it gets stuck showing a red exclamation mark after showing the green circulating arrows. I tried several ways to get into recovery via USB/ADB and using the hardware buttons. Please someone help me out. Thanks in advance.

Well if that's the stock recovery then why don't I see options like wipe dalvik cache? And nothing happens after the red sign ,like its just stuck there.

Have you unlocked the bootloader? If yes, then use fastboot commands to flash a recovery. If not, then unlock the bootloader and then flash a custom recovery.

If it just needs a recovery flashing is it not just the following:
Code:
Download appropriate recovery (extract from .zip/etc).
Copy to Fastboot.exe folder on PC
Boot phone into HBoot
Select Fastboot.
Connect to PC (should now say FASTBOOTUSB or vice-versa).
Start a Terminal on PC, Change Directory to your Fastboot Folder (cd c:/fastboot/ or whatever it's named on your PC).
Run the command in Terminal
fastboot flash recovery NameOfYourRecovery.img
If I remember rightly

i am trying to follow the guide here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Nexus_One:_Full_Update_Guide#ClockworkMod_Recovery
i am trying to unlock the bootloader to flash clockwork mod recovery instead of amon ra recovery. however in the tutorial it says make sure you are in fastboot in the bootloader screen area. but before all this mess i flashed hboot to try to upgrade to gingerbread. so its not working because i flashed hboot i think, but i dont know how to get rid of it and get back to fastboot.
thanks.
Either hold the trackball and power buttons down when you start the phone, or, if you are at the hboot screen, you can just select the fastboot option from the menu...

whoops, actually thats not the problem,
the problem is it says pvt s-on and not pvt s-off.
how do i fix that?
actually i dont think that is it....
when my phone is in bootloader mode it cannot be found by my computer, i.e. nothing shows up when i do fastboot devices or adb devices. but when i turn my phone on, it shows up when i do adb devices.
why?
in the tutorial i followed it said there were some settings i had to check and uncheck on my phone, but the the connect to pc setting doesn't exist on my phone so i skipped it. i am in cyanogen 6.1.1 right now. is that the problem, and if so how do i fix it?

To put it simply: Power off the phone. Hold trackball and power on.
Do not touch the phone again unless it's displaying the yes/no prompt to unlock it.

The driver used when you are in the bootloader is not the same as when you are in the ROM/recovery.
First, Sorry my english
I succeed to access hboot partition and to direct dump hboot image
I attemped flash hboot, but not flashermission_denied

Nexus One check integrity hboot image during boot process or during just hboot update process?

When you boot is there an unlocked lock at the bottom of the boot screen? If not, then you need to unlock your bootloader. If you have the Android SDK installed boot into Fastboot by turning on the phone by pressing the trackball and power at the same time and hold them until the phone is in Fastboot mode. Then on your computer in a command prompt window (I am assuming Windows here) type
fastboot oem unlock
Then follow insructions on phone that says you are about to void your warranty by unlocking the bootloader. When you say yes, the phone will clear user data so backup anything you want, and then it will reboot with an unlocked bootloader.
I've searched everywhere and can't seem to find anything that works for me.
I unlocked my device's bootloader normally through htcdev.com. I then flashed TWRP in fastboot with the following commands:
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.0.1-m7.img
fastboot erase cache
After flashing I can't boot into recovery no matter what. I tried the option from bootloader and adb reboot recovery and the phone simply boots into Android. I have flashed CWM and TWRP many many times.
What's interesting is that my bootloader screen only says unlocked instead of unlocked and tampered. I have M7_UL with hboot 1.44
Any help would be appreciated!

Yes, you should be able to use fastboot/adb commands with both s-on and s-off. So do as the above user suggested
Now, if you are getting an error with rumrunner because of adb/drivers, i thinks its because to use rumrunner your phone has to be on the homescreen, because your phone must be able to boot/reboot upon rumrunner's adb commands (and since your problem is you cant even boot the phone, i guess at this point you cant use rumrunner)

My friend HTC one was updating firmware through OTA and turned it off during it
Its stuck now at logo screen
Am a Samsung user and terms like Odin and downloading stock ROM couldn't be found here on HTC.
Am confused as I have read a lot and it seems quite different than Samsung...
I managed to enter to boot loader but recovery isn't running as the device just restart.
The boatloader is locked in red. And formating the device is not solving the issue.
All I need is a site alternative to sammobile to download stock ROM and a program alternative to Odin to flash the mobile back

Are you familiar with FASTBOOT and ADB commands? If you don't have them installed on your PC then use this tool. Once you get them installed and operational, get the phone back into bootloader and attach the USB cable. It should say FASTBOOT USB. Enter this command in the command window: fastboot getvar all Post the information from it to this site but remove the IMEI & Serialno data.
This is a lot different than Samsumg. In some ways it is a lot easier. We need to find out what OS version is installed so we can direct you in the correct direction.

this is a dual sim variant of the HTC one (M7CDUG) and unfortunately, its not much supported here. There is no RUU I can found here to restore your phone. (4.21.402.5) only files available are ota update files and can not be used to restore the phone.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2617159
You should try to fastboot erase cache then reboot in recovery mode (volume up then power when you see the triangle with exclamation mark) then in the menu, try to apply the ota again.
You could also unlock your bootloader, flash a custom recovery compatible with dual sim variant and flash a custom rom.
