Hello,
I'm considering addind a Qi module to my Ascend P7 such as this one:

}
Would this interfere with NFC though?
Thanks!
You know what it is? Its only a mobile charger. Its a "big" accumulator - not more. If anybody has information about real NFC recharging, pls give me/us a information!
Well, it's a coil. It could get in the way of NFC antennas, especially if it's located on the back.
Looks cool, sounds convenient. Let us know if it's any success!
It doesn't intefere with NFC at all, there are tons of videos, blogs, etc of people having an HTC M8 with this thing and none of them had problems with NFC.
The only downsides are that you have to put a back cover to the phone and microUSB input will be always occupied.
Received a module!
So yeah, testing shows it doesn't interfere at all with NFC, so that's great. Since the phone is always in a protective case, that's good too - it's quite invisible. My only issue right now is that the current shell I'm using is blocking wireless charging (tested with a few phones), so I'll have to look for another one.

EDIT: Took a photo and made a recount.
Hi there,
I have four unused cradles/docks for the HTC Wallaby. They are a cradle with a USB cord. No power adapter, but it seems there is some other adapter thingy in their too.
Basically, I just want to get rid of them, and I suspect some people on here could use them. I would really prefer to only post to Australia. Perhaps if there is another Australian user on here they could then post them to others if they felt the urge?
I can send them for the cost of postage, which is likely to be about $15 or so.
Let me know either through here or via PM if you are interested.
Cheers!

Why don't you sell them on eBay?
wallaby cradles have good USB chords in them. theyre standard usb cable attached to a adapter for the old htc connector, at least mine was. its still my main flashcable, handy little thing.
Just though I would post a really nice mount that works well with the Note II from any carrier as well as nearly any other phone, Happen to come across this while looking for Christmas present ideas and picked one up for myself and love it so far.
It uses a nice small metal plate that you can put in the back of a case or even a smaller round one that fits perfectly between the back cover and the battery/housing then holds the phone securely without any bulky snap in annoying part. Here's an URL (since I can't post links just yet) to the page for it as well if you want one which I really recommend since its only like $30 and way better than those cheap ones you can find at Walmart or anything you would find for more.

Let me know what you guys think. Hope this helps some searching for some of you!
Here's some photos of it for a quick glance.

THis has been posted before. The problem with this is that its magnetic and will at least while in use cause your spen and compass to not work. Not sure about long term effects , but samsung warns against magnets.
Iphone SUX
I havent see it effect anything while using the gps at this point. Still trlls me where im going and where im at but ill up date if something changes.
And k.0.0.l iphones do sux but why they still post them in photos of stuff I could not say why.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
I posted this earlier in another thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1973792
It really is the best universal mount. It does NOT affect the compass because our device uses GPS. It only affects the s-pen if the magnet is close enough to the tip (probably not close enough if using a case).
Hey guys,
So there doesn't seem to be a topic on here about an S Pen holder, which is an accessory that Samsung made for the original Note. Check it here on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galax...8&qid=1359314259&sr=8-8&keywords=s+pen+note+2
Does anybody know if they make this or something similar for the Note 2? I actually use my S Pen quite frequently to take notes in class, and sometimes I just feel like the stylus is too small.
I read in another thread someone was using one of the Bamboo holders to achieve the full size effect. Here or international threads, I forget. Search here for "bamboo" and you might strike gold.

There's a couple of reviews on Amazon that claims that it works. Might want to ask those buyers to be sure.
Mean while, I took apart a Bic Clicker pen and stuck mine into it. Fits snug, and I saved myself $40 lol.

Oh my goodness that's awesome. Its this kind of ingenuity I lack.
Spen holder is kind of nice. Unfortunately, Samsung, I believed, reshaped the Spen just a bit, so it may not work.
The small size on the Spen never bother me much. It just reminded me of using a pencil when it's gets all small.
Was walking around good ol' Fred Meyer today and came across some Gear Ties made by Nite Ize. They had all sorts of lengths and colors.
This is a great solution for me because I prefer to carry my Nexus 7 in my jacket pocket and that wouldn't be possible with most of the cases out there and the viewing angle is fully adjustable. It's versatile and inexpensive making it hard to beat in my book.

nice share dude, and nice stand will keep an eye out for something similar here in uk:good:
That looks pretty cool, are those infinitely adjustable or is it good for a few bends and then eventually it will snap apart from over bending?
"Infinitely" is a pretty strong word, but the NiteIze gear ties are very durable. A friend uses one to tie his laptop charger and cable and it's still going strong after some time now.

Very nice and simple, thanks!
Made this for the safe keeping of my 8T. I was using a Gordy's leather strap, but my 6mo puppy ate it. *facepalm*

You want a multistrand braid tether attachment.
Monofilament nylon fails with little or no warning.
I used 500lb nylon. Do you think that will work? I definitely want it strong, so looking for opinions here.

Obviously that's not able to hold 500#.
The problem is the monofilament, it's all or nothing. Multistrand usually shows signs of abrasion and impending failure.
Clear nylon is also UV sensitive and doesn't weather well in dry environments.
You want a tether preferably that has no metal rings or such that can scratch the phone. Most phone cases lack good attachment points or accommodate only ridiculously thin tethers. I want at least a 50# tensile strength. First time it gets snagged on something you'll know why...
The weakest link theory applies very much to tethers.
I wear BDU cargo pants so I just use a good case and the thigh pocket. This works well even with large phones and they don't drop out but are still easily accessible.
You'll need to put some thought and searching into this to find the best solution for you.
Thanks for the assist. This strap is mostly to get me through until my new Gordy's arrives. His straps are built like tanks.
