I've seen it done in AOSP based ROMs but I'm curious if it's possible to do in stock. Has anyone been able to put the battery percent next to the battery icon on the stock ROM? I gave enabled the battery percent inside the battery but not next to it. Does anyone have a way?

Ok so i bought a extended battery i think its the 3000mah version or something like that. well anyways i am on cyanogen 6 stable and with the oem battery it used to show the battery percentage in the status bar and now with this battery it just shows a FULL battery with no percentage. any help is appreciated i tried searching and there was similar threads but not quite the same THANKS BROHAMS!
Last week i flashed the newest MIUI release and pretty liked it, but unfortunately my battery didnt charge because it's no genuine motorola battery (a "?" shows up when charging, also in power off mode).
I had the same problem in CM6 and CM7 when activating 1% battery steps. So is there a way to disable 1% battery steps in MIUI, and if not which one is the latest release without 1% battery steps?
Thanks for your help!
Hi all,
Recently I've used battery percentage on the statusbar of my Milestone and found out a weird issue with the battery. The battery percentage goes up to maximum of 100 percents with a normally full recharge but it drops down to 99 percents right away whenever I unplug. This issue at least happened on FroyoMod and even with CM7.1. I setup 1% battery from Settings or install battery tweak from Market- still the same, then trying from wiping battery status in recovery mode but nothing changed.
Would Any one give me a workaround for this issue, please?. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all.
Thats the way how it works, nothing wrong here

Oh, I'm noob . Thanks,Mate.
I really like the Dark Knight 3 ROM, but the battery is dying so quickly.
Last night I left it fully charged and 9 hours later after I woke up the battery was on 60%.
Wifi/GPS/Data/Sync = Off
Screen = auto
If I play with the phone for like 1 hour a day and the battery is dying on less than 12 hours.
The battery section shows Android OS as the biggest consumer, which the cooker of the ROM said is only a visual bug:
1. Android OS battery bug. Because i took the settings apk from akop4.0.3. So its just showing wrong.

Maybe I should switch to another ICS ROM
Give it a few full charge cycles for the battery to recalibrate.

Hm, never heard of that. Recalibrate in relation to ICS or in general?
Because the phone is not new and has been charged the fair amount of times.
Most of rom developers recommend few battery charging cycles, before conclusion.
Noting matter how old is the battery.
My OS Battery bug is drastically lowered after I disabled google search, talk, plus and maps.
Of course, GPS, Wifi and Data is default OFF, 2G ON.
the android os bug in case of ICS roms is in name only.. meaning that it just shows with highest usage in battery stats but doesn't actually cause battery drainage.. this problem has been fixed in 4.0.4 version of ICS..
so that means your battery is being drained by some other app.. and ofcourse as mentioned above, if you have just flashed a new rom, give it a few charge/discharge cycle time.. if still not satisfied you can always try some other rom ... though I think DKv4 beta will be up soon.. and this thing is taken care of in that version
I just sideloaded 5.1 and I use Battery widget pro.
After 5.1 when I unplug my device this widget tells me I have 8 hours of battery left.
Even on 5.0 my battery seemed pretty poor but at least it would be at 12 to 14. I just don't get how it can be that bad.
Sometimes after turning it off then back on the battery level will adjust to something higher.
Is this possibly an app issue draining my battery? Anyone have any tips suggestions?
Best,
Ryan

Let it run for a day and see how much battery life you actually get. Maybe let it drain all the way out once and recharge it to 100%. I know when I ran custom ROMs on my Nexus devices, it would take a couple of days before the battery stats adjusted and displayed correct info. I once had a battery meter say 1% for about an hour before my phone died after switching to a new ROM.
How did it go? I noticed massive battery draining wakelocks on 5.1, related to phone and location. Without Xposed I don't know how to control them.
Cheers!
