Is my bottom speaker that doesn't work during a call or only the top speaker is activated?

Same here, I think that is normal on a stock for now.
Yes it only uses the top speaker for some reason
Thank you guys!

I don't know why people complain about this. The one speaker is plenty loud

Yes, as the bottom speaker hole contains the mic as well.
The top speaker is used because the bottom speaker contains the mic. If the bottom speaker were to output sound, the other party might not be able to hear you properly.

Hi guys. When i got my z1 i realized that the speaker is just playing with one speaker(just right side of speaker)
Today i realized that the output sound has problem!when i shift the volume to left, i dont hear anything. And it has no difference when u put it on middle or just right.it seems it just on mono output! Is it ok?! (my friend has the same problem with his z1)
Help please
All Z1 are with 1 speaker at the bottom grill, it's made like a kind of acoustic case and the speaker is on the Right side of the grill but the sound come out from the Left side of the grill.
Nothing is wrong whit you phone. Is Mono speaker.

I don't know how concrete can be this test and what are you doing or doing wrong.
Yes, on headphones you should be able to switch between left and right earphone/speaker but I don't know how correctly test it right now...
Your headphone output has nothing to do with your internal speaker. Try some different headphones.

Where is the microphone on the nexus 6. Is it housed in the speaker at the bottom?

I believe it is on the back of the phone, on the bottom. The video recording mic is in the camera flash surround.
I am unsure how the dual speakers are set up (one on bottom plus the earpiece or both on the bottom) but my phone only has sound from the bottom left speaker hole. I do not see any settings to enable or disable the stereo speakers. Has anyone else experienced this issue and is there a fix? Or do I just have a lemon?

Same here. 2/3 bottom left 1/3 from earpiece. Did you Figuren out if it is a Problem vor a "feature"?
A lot of phones have dual grilles at the bottom but it doesn't mean they have two speakers there. I think Axon M has one speaker at the top and one at the bottom. If you are watching a video at landscape orientation, both speakers are used at tandem.

I think you're right. Most reviews also speak of one bottom speaker.
It's a bit strange anyways, that the earpiece speaker's volume is about the half of the bottom speaker. So the stereo effect is a bit weak. It's ok for me and it sounds quiet good but compared to my former Axon 7 it is a definite degradation.
At the bottom of the phone, there are two speaker grills. I'm only getting sound from the right one.
Is this normal?

Yes, one is for the speaker and one for the first mic This phone achieves stereo audio through the combination of bottom and front spakers
My top speaker does not have much sound as the bottom one, is this expected?

My wife's Samsung Note 9 is the same way.
OP7T (I think it was the t model) actually has a true second speaker (in addition to the ear piece speaker) so the sound is more even. YouTuber JerryRigEverything did a tear down and pointed out the fact it had a true second speaker.

Have any of you tried switching to Mono audio in the Accessibility settings. I've seen where it can make it louder.
