Share to scribble in browser, but can't share to anything else. - Sprint HTC One (M8)

I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this. I used to be able to share a photo via long tap to multiple things, (Bluetooth, email, messenger...), but now I can only share to Scribble.
Any ideas? Kinda sucks they'd remove such a useful functionality and replace it with only Scribble.

Is there any way to change this at all? It really makes the process more complicated having to download something I only want to share, then having to go delete the download.

Any way to kid proof the tab?

Just wonder if there is a way to lock out certain apps like vzw nav and vcast? I wanna give my tab to my going to 9yr old step son for his birthday. There is no CC attached to his Google so that is safe, but I know the vzw crap will get tapped if I don't lock it some how. He loves words with friends and angry birds.....hey he is learning how to spell better! Any help would be great!

Buy App Protector Pro. There are several like it on the Market, but that's what I recommend. Let's you lock whatever apps you want and toggle it on/off with a widget. I use it on my Tab anytime I'm handing it to someone who wants to play with it.
Cool thanks!

install titanium backup PRO and freeze these apps.

Can't use same camera effects taking pics as editing pics?

Does this make sense to anyone? There are a few nice filters in the camera app, granted I don't particularly like filters. I just want to experiment with them from time to time. If you edit a pic already taken, you get different effects/filters than you get before taking the pic.
I'd rather apply my filter/effects after taking the pic rather than before. But doesn't seem that's possible. I've already gotten an app for this, so I don't need any suggestions. But kind of bothered HTC chose to do this.

All I got from the OP was I don't like a feature I know I have no control over...useless. Camera and the editing software on Android phones are generally two seperate programs, so yes something (filter, effects, etc.), that the developers choose to leave out of one side of the software is not intertwinable with the omitted functionality of the other program by default. You would need to build or more likely wait fora custom Rom that incorporates the feature you 'prefer' which will probably never happen.

NFC music

When I try to use the NFC to "beam" (or whatever you would call it) to my sister who has a gs3 it sends her to to play store to buy the song instead of her just getting the song. Is there a way I could change this or is it just something the One does? Has anyone else experienced this? Sending everything else over NFC seems to work fine. I haven't tried doing it to any other phones so maybe its just a One to gs3 thing? Any help is appreciated

I have the HTC One and my brother has the Gs4. We use SuperBeam for everything nfc related and no problems. Try that from the play store

Nfc seems to only do small things. There's also a problem if the Samsung has s beam turned on.
Another thing to consider is that often it'll try sharing the app rather than the file.

I'd like to expand here that what these applications tend to do is use NFC to exchange bluetooth information and actually send the file using bluetooth. It's also possible that it can be done using ad-hoc wifi.
The more you know.

Any way to get the caller picture to show full screen?

I don't know why it just doesn't out of the box, but I'd like it to.
Any ideas?

Xposed Installer tweaks
Cool. I really wonder why some companies take out things like that. Like the company behind the navigation app Scout decided to take out the ability to rename addresses you added via the phone, making it mandatory to be in front of a computer if you wanted to put a name to a place. That kinda destroys the overall usefulness of the app.

Make HTC Scribble go away and get normal Share To back?

Since HTC Scribble came about, there seems to be no way to just long press on any image in the browser and share to anymore. It's only share to Scribble. Is there any way to go back to being able to share to again? Like share to messenger, email, etc...

Go to app manager > htc scribble > clear defaults
hope that helps
I have it fully disabled in the system. It seems integrated into the browser. Maybe if I downgraded the browser? It's just annoying going from being able to just share stuff whenever to having that in the way.
