[Q] Safe to flash SP ExistenZ v2 on c5306?

Hey guys.
I am planning on flashing ExistenZ v2 on my c5306 and I was wondering if it is safe to do so. I cannot find any information on the c5306 relating to ExistenZ v2 and I am currently on fw 12.0.A.1.284 with a locked bootloader. I am tired of waiting for updates from my carrier so that is why I am planning to flash this rom.
Yes it is safe. It is a universal ROM..

So you need a Locked Bootloader stock modified rom?
Better use UltimateXSP or eXistenZ
By the way it's not allowed to post questions "What is the best rom"
We do not allow best ROM/Kernel threads on XDA,. What's best for someone else may not be what is best for you. Best advice is to head over to the development section, try some out and see which best suits your needs.

Since you have bootloader unlock allowed: no it is not possible to flash anything that requires non stock kernel. All you can flash is stock based roms.

Hello I am a noob and want to help me, I would appreciate it.
I want to install this ROM through Recovery.
That would have to do exactly;
Meter ROM in external memory and then should apply some WIPE before Flashing?
Another pergunta but this ROM contains the latest kernel or the kernel has been modified?
Thank you for your help.
This rom contains the latest stock untouched Kernel. What rom do you have at the moment?

A few questions:
Will this work on a T-Mobile Z3? The builder number is 23.0.D.1.123 and it's running 4.4.4 currently.
What do you mean by stock? Like vanilla android or exactly the same as what is already running on the phone currently? I'm trying to rid the phone of any bloatware.
Thanks!

Just search for stock LB (locked bootloader) .ftf of 4.4.4, then download flashtool and flash it
You actually shouldn't run into any issues as long as you wipe everything. I recommend using Cwm recovery and selecting "wipe to install a new rom" option. Add the rom to external SD card and enter recovery. Wipe everything and then install rom.
Power off (not reboot to system)
Flash the stripped rom with flashtool
Unplug cable and wait

Yes. The notification light became purple and froze. I went to 4.2.2 tft. Then used towelroot and started over. I am on your stock 4.4.4 now. Everything looking good

Sony Xperia Z Boot with unlocked Bootloader
Sorry, I am a greenhorn.
Is there a problem by rooting your device and having an unlocked bootloader? In most of the instructions stood "tested with locked bootloader" that is why i asked.
Thanking you in anticipation,

Does Xperia™ Companion software find unbranded ROMs?

Hello. Sorry if this is a silly question; first time Xperia user here. Does the Xperia™ Companion software find unbranded ROMs that don't come OTA? I have a UK o2 Z3+ and want the latest official Sony stock debranded ROM. Could you tell me if the Xperia™ Companion software would download this for me or will it only bring up carrier-modified ROMs as if I were to check OTA?
Thanks!
Hi,
Any reason why you want to use the Xperia™ Companion software? From what you describe, it sounds as if you'd be better going with Flashtool/Xperifirm. You can freely choose from the available roms. Google for a guide for creating the FTF and flashing it.
Should work without B.L. unlocking as long as you're not trying to flash a modified kernel, but your phone will need to be carrier unlocked if you want to move from o2.
Cheers!

Hi,
Actually I love stock Rom only because they are very stable as compared to AOSP custom Rom.
But here in our country the STock Rom comes with lots of bloat. Is it possible to create a stock FTF by self with the help of Flashtool which doesnt have the bloats and useless apps so that my system run lagless. I dont want to unlock my Bootloader.
Any help will be higly appreciated.

there's nothing in FlashTool to allow you to work on the rom. You'd need to deodex the stock rom, work on it to remove what you don't want, then zipalign. there are guides to doing that, or you could watch the discussions here and see what happens. There was talk of someone creating a deodexed image.
Here's a thread regarding deodexing/zipaligning
BR.
deodex needs root
And z3+ BL needs to be unlocked to aquire ROOT. So I think its impossible.
