Hi folks,
I just got a new battery for my nexus s from the prunedanish at ebay but it turned out to be 1440mah. My original battery is 1500mah. However other than that they look exactly the same. Will I give away battery life by using 1440mah ?
Thanks
I have the same battery. I don't notice a difference. Both give me a 24 daily use cycle once I got them conditioned.
I'd feel that the difference would be marginal.
Once you factor in some slight battery degradation and manufacturer tolerances, they would be virtually the same.
I'm also believe that difference woll be unnoticable. Still does anyone know where I can buy oem 1500mah nexus battery without paying 20bucks thoruh samsungs site ?
Has anyone tried using HTC Desire HD batteries for their HD2? I just ordered these HD2 batteries that are 1350 mAh on an eBay store located in Brooklyn. They are 2 for $8, I figured worth a chance for only 8 bucks, but I'm still thinking 1350mAh still won't be enough. The HTC Desire HD batteries are 1500 mAh(or more) and almost look like they'd fit, but I'm unsure. Right now I'm running my HD2 on the Desire Z ROM that is rooted, I think it's made by Dandiest and Freak. This ROM is seriously the best out of the 3 I've tried. With it being rooted I was able to download the battery calibrator on the market and it has increased my battery life significantly. I'm still on the standard 1230mAh battery and I charged it to 100% and it lasted 13 hours before needing charged with mild usage. Any suggestions, or anyone know if the Desire HD batteries would fit and work?
Please Help
The Desire HD's battery has different dimensions. There's no way to fit in HD2. The DHD's battery is 54mm x 43mm x 5mm, the HD2's is 51,7mm x 46,0mm x 4,8mm
there is a hungarian web page : http://www.akkuk.hu/Akku-Kereses/
in this page you can search batteries for a lot of phones, type a model name in the "Keresési kulcsszó" textbox, and you can check the dimensions each of it...i would be surprised if you find an exact same dimension as HD2's battery
Hi all,

there are a few ebay sellers who sell the genuine htc battery. just search for "genuine htc ba s520" on ebay. most are based in uk. all around 15 - 20 gbp.
you will find several chinese aftermarket batteries claiming higher capacity than the 1450mah of the genuine battery, but beware. none of them (i've tested a few) actually last longer than the htc battery, in my experience. and i don't know if the quality can be trusted. they do cost a lot less than the genuine battery so it is a cheaper option.
u can try dc mugen
I want higher capacity battery so that my phone last longer between charging.. not HTC ori battery with same capacity.. thanks ya..

If it would be possible to put more capacity in the same size battery HTC would have done that from the start, you're only option is to get one of those fat 3500mah batteries from ebay with a thicker battery cover, i'm thinking of getting one of those, unfortunatly i can't put a silicon case around the phone then ...
is anyone aware which is better battery among the custom makers ?
Will be great if that is available in India .
4000mAh Battery
Just bought one of those chinese 4000 mAh batteries on ebay.
The [email protected]#$%^ thing won't let me switch on mobile network (3G) ?????????!!
Real Handy.......wifi, bluetooth, gps all fine.
It may be an HTC issue, like Windows, doesn't like hardware changes, it may be the rear case, who knows?
It's a thumping big thing, twice the size, but I only get about another half a day.....Whooopeee.
Thankfully it was only about five bucks.
Anyone have a similar issue ?

SEIDIO SUPER EXTENDED LIFE BATTERY FOR HTC INCREDIBLE S
extended battery/door
Thanks mate, I'll take a look.
I've been using the previously mentioned Mugen 3700 mA extended battery (larger, yes, but I'm used to it already) for 2.5 weeks now.
I've completed calibrating and conditioning the battery thru the 5 discharge cycles as instructed, followed by some of the lore I've sifted from xda. It's been useful.
I used to charge in morning and had to be careful not to use my phone too much and need to charge again in one day if I used it a fair amount. My incS was used, so stock battery probably had wear.
Now I get two full days of moderate-somewhat heavy use, and very far into the 3rd day if I use it just for (many) texts and a few short calls and it sleeps half the time or more.
E.g., charged before bed, sat unplugged during sleep, heavy use today (gps for 30+ min, browsing, texts) and 71% capacity as of now.

Good try! how much it cost?
That's meant so far no identical battery with longer battery life (i.e. last 1 whole day for moderate to heavy use)? sigh...

Stick to genuine HTC batteries. Most of the Ebay fakes are far lower quality and often are mislabeled (especially if it claims higher capacity in the same form factor).
Your phone should last at least 24 hours on one charge though (unless you're using it very heavily). Try changing your habits a bit (turning off data/wifi when not using it) and also maybe try a battery calibration. If you do a battery calibration make sure you read a few guides on google and do it properly otherwise you will most likely be worse off.
Some aftermarket hi capacity battery need a special battery cover which makes it very ugly
I bought the 3500 mAh battery with fat back cover (from Ebay). Its a chinese ****s production... We know that on our IncS the antenna is placed inside of back cover. This chinese cover has some antenna as well, but the signal is much worse. For example with original cover I get like 4 full bars. With chinese ****s cover I get only 2-3 bars.
Im already having troubles with the signal in some places, but with this cover it will be even worse.. So I stay with my original HTC back cover. Dunno what to do with this 3500 battery..
why don't you buy another stock battery ?
i think stock one is gd enough.
I think that MUGEN 3600mAh is optimal high-capacity battery on the market. Its stable and reliable...

Has any1 tried using Seidio batteries for Incredible S?
Apparently, they claim to use Lithium Polymer technology as opposed to Lithium-ion.
Wikipedia says Polymer is superior to ion but also more expensive.
Only mobile manufacturer known to supply phones with Lithium Polymer batteries is Sony Ericsson.
Seido 3500mAH battery for HTC Incredible S is on eBay for $69. It says its assembled in Taiwan? Its also not as FAT as Mugen's but still needs a back door, which is included. They also have a website.
Mugen might have a new, superior competitor.

I just bought one from Ebay, it should probably land here on wednesday.
After i get it, calibrate it and get into it i'll let you guys know if its worth its money.
So while randomly trawling the Internet for accessories for the ZR, I stumbled on this.
Mugen Power has come up with two batteries for the zr. The 4600 mah version comes with a battery door of course, while the 2500 mah one promises to fit into the existing back cover but for $44, doesn't quite make sense to spend that much money on a battery that will give you 9% more battery life.
I thought about getting the 4600 mah battery (deliveries begin in the first week of September) but two things held me back:
1. Will the new back door support nfc and the waterproofing? Not sure about this. The website doesn't have any proper images.
2. The phone looks like a whale.
What do you guys think?

I think it's have to look like a whale bro.., its still a 4600 mAh battery
For the waterproofing, i saw a video on YouTube of the mugen power batteries of the Xperia V, which he's design similar to the ZR, n they say the back cover they provide with the battery is keeping on the waterproof feature, n water can't get inside..
So u don't need to afraid man.. otherwise u can get one of this n be careful not to be around water..
Still here
N!geR -> E!ch0
I am at one step for make this purshase, and I have the same questions...
Does anyone tasted it? working nfc and waterproof?
Thanks for your answers
I had the Mugen-battery to my Xperia V and I was truly disappointed about the door.
It could fall off in my pocket without any reason.
The sealing looked like original but I couldnt rely on the waterproof quality.
The battery itself worked as expected!

50% more battery life for £17. Still ugly, though:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/vhbw-replac...TF8&qid=1379721673&sr=1-92&keywords=xperia+zr
They should make something like a 3000mah that doesn't look like your phone swallowed another one. I could live with a 2-3cm more but this is ridiculous.
Also something like this will be much more good looking.

This one looks promising.......
Really interested in the actual capacity of the batteries. Which are fakes? Which are real? Can people who bought them post them here?
I bought the 2600mah for $4 on ebay seller u daily. Its actual capacity is about half of that.
I bought a 2800mah for $5 from ebay seller niking niking and its actual capacity is seems to be close to the original 2300mah, a bit less.

I went by how fast the battery % it fell. the 2800mah(niking-niking) for $5 is still pretty good for the price considering the capacity is slightly less than the original battery(probably 2200~2300).
Avoid this battery...
There are too many bad, cheap batteries being sold. I decided to buy one just for the sake of it and it performed horribly. It came in a sealed plastic wrap with the "BA950" word and an Android logo, nothing else. The battery was made really poorly. The wrap is made of paper (yes, paper) and the specs don't match the real capacity. My phone turned off at about 55% every time and the charging time was 90 min. It has a Sony Ericsson logo :silly: and an "A&J" sticker (brand?) on the back and a very bad SONY one on the front. It costs 5 bucks, but believe me, you don't want to buy it. Save those bucks for a better battery instead. You have been warned
want 5000 mah nor 4600 mah battery for my sony xperia zr please suggest me links
mugen battery link is dead
i had installed 5000mah extended battery in my sony xperia zr , i much hours my phone must work
Does anybody know where can I buy original battery for my Xperia V? Or does anybody know about reliable one? I don't need extra capacity, I need stable battery.
My original battery died while ago and I bought some replacement which claimed to be original for XS (Same battery type). But now that battery is shutting down my phone randomly.

It's not original one but Momax Battery could be fine too. expansys is selling it as accessory for XV.
I bought japanese version of BA800 at docomo shop while traveling japan. front side looks the same as international version of BA800 and works fine.

I don't want to spam, but if someone likes to buy the 3600 mAh Mugen Power extended battery for xperia v with backcover - without waiting long time for shipping to europe:

PolarCell batteries
The 3rd party batteries from PolarCell on ebay seem quite good. I've bought one recently and it lasts as long as the original battery when it was new, no problems 'til now :good:
A caveat for non-european buyers of course is that they're shipped from germany, so maybe it could take some time to arrive. But they seem to be shipped worldwide for no additional shipping costs
You would have to search for "BA800 PolarCell" on ebay to find them (I'm not allowed to post outside links yet)
Does anyone know if there are BA800-compatible batteries which really exceed the capacity of the original battery in a substantial way (which aren't just fake/imagination mAh statements)? The PolarCell battery states it has 1850 mAh (+100 mAh or 5,7 % compared to the original Sony BA800) so it's hardly worth mentioning...
you can get original BA800 akku cheaper than polacell. At least in europe. I don't see a reason to go for anything else.

If you can be sure the battery you're buying is actually a genuine Sony BA800 one, yeah of course. Otherwise you risk to get one of those cheap replicas with terrible specs (I've had this experience multiple times) and it's usually an annoying hassle to get the money back...
Anyway, anything about true high capacity batteries for the Xperia V?
