I am trying to backup the EFS partition ? Is there any script or manual method to do this ? I tried a couple of apps but none support the L90.

efs backup is not required for installing cm7
if you have an operator specific phone then you will need the backup else you don't need
Is there a method where we can backup and restore the EFS partition?
Also as mentioned in this thread for Optimus G, is it possible to repair your ESN after zeroising it?
Hello guys, so i have a problem with my s3 i9305 I lost my IMEI and my phone is on factory mode the problem is that i don't have a QPCT nor a EFSPRO backup, I have an efs created by amcha rom when i was installing it with aroma i had the option to chose to backup the efs in my SDcard , i don't know how to restore it its a .tar.gz i tried to copy the files in the Efs folder using rootexplorer but still the same problem no imei or signal any help would be appreciated.
Hi
After doing a nandroid backup with TWRP 3.0.0.0 for all partitions including EFS when trying to restore after booting up my device it I get an "invalid IMEI" error.
Looking inside the EFS folder I can see that most files are missing and only a default nv_data.bin has been created.
Is there another method to mount the efs.mtd.win file and copy his contents?
Or perhaps another method to restore it or at least understand why it's not restoring properly?
Thanks for any hint.

Hey everyone, so I have REDWOLF recovery on my 4X and I want to backup my MIUI ROM before flashing any custom ROM's, but since the MIUI backup is quite large (13GB!), I am executing the backup from my PC using adb.
I done the backup using
Code:
adb backup --twrp
, which seemingly backed up everything, but when I go to restore using
Code:
adb restore backup.ab
, it only restores /system. And I'm quite positive it didn't just backup /system since the file is 13GB large and /system is only ~2GB.
