Screen awake not sleep bluetooth headset

Using a gesture to wake up the screen?

I notice the RIM Playbook uses a edge-edge gesture to wake up the screen. Has anyone seen something similar for recent HTC phones (i.e. ones without a trackball/optical trackpad).
I'm wary of wearing out the power button, but also want to minimize power usage by not having the display on all day.
I use an app call No Lock which gives me the ability to wake the phone using the volume rocker. I figure you can get more wear and tear out of the volume rocker than you can the power button. I would love to see an app to wake the screen with a screen swipe.

No Lock doesn't work for me - probably because of the Exchange security policy.
A nice alternative would be swiping across all of the capacitive buttons to wake the screen.

[Q] Volume Wake

Hi people, really missing the sweep to wake and volume wake features from my last device the desire s. any chance of a volume wake mod for this device as i always worry about wearing out the power button.

Proximity sensor problems

I'm tired of my phone doing weird stuff in my pocket. Every time I hang up a call on my bluetooth earpiece, my phone wakes back up in my pocket and tries to dial some random number. I thought the proximity sensor would keep the screen from coming on if the phone was in your pocket. Is there a way to adjust this?

Yeah, I get this too. I'll be listening to music through wired headphones get a notification. Then find out my phone is surfing the web, or has various apps open. I couldn't even find the option to use the sensor to keep screen off while in my pocket. I suppose setting a harder screen lock option would keep it off. I had finger print set but cant use that anymore as I'm back to work and my finger print changes daily. (Hard labor)

Does someone have a fix or know of a setting so that the proximity sensor turns the phone off when slid into a pocket? Screen turns off when i put it to my ear. Why not when i put it in my pocket? I know Better Keyguard is available to do this, i just don't understand why it isnt available on Play Store.

There are many apps that use the sensor like Smart Screen Off lite. I personally have not tried one. I just set a pattern code lock however it's a very simple pattern that can be easily done with one hand. It does keep my music from being changed while I am listening to it.
Didnt the s3 have a pocket mode that sensed the ambient light and proximity and hard locked the screen?
Or this app

[Q] Disable tap to wake device.

I have this question, it's possible to disable touchscreen when screen is off? i mean same as a phone, device must vibrate, but screen is off. I know cinema mode does do that but it disable all vibration, incoming notification and calls.
This is very annoying because my sleeve jacket touch the screen and wake up device.
any solution?
sorry for my bad english

With "Vibration Notifier" screen stay black but the watch vibrate with the personalised vibrations setup in the app And you have also a very better vibration feeling if you increase vibration length in "Vibration Notifier"
