Here we have RUUs for both the Sprint HTC One M8 Harman model & the non-HK model. These RUUs are for the Sprint model ONLY. You must flash the appropriate RUU for your handset unless you have superCID. If you have superCID, you can flash either RUU.
For superCID, use this fastboot cmd: fastboot oem writecid 11111111
HUGE Thanks to the dude who hooked me up, you're awesome!

So has anyone tried to use this ROM/RUU to load Android on a SIM and boot to Android from that SIM? And/or to boot to Android but on an HTC One m8 that was natively shipped with Windows on it? In other words, I would like to see if I can have a native Windows version of HTC One M8 and yet boot to Android from a SIM when I want to use Android. Anyone tried this or think this will work? I've seen other threads on here, but don't see anyone trying to use this ROM/RUU to do this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc...on-porting-wm8-to-android-htc-t2865785/page11
Hi,
I moved this to Q&A it really doesn't belong in the RUU thread.
Thanks,

There is a listing of the One variants and model numbers here here ..... the model you're looking for will be the UL variant model code 801n
Follow this thread and you can change your model id (MID) to the international version and then install the RUU 1.28.401.7 (http://bugsylawson.com/files/file/1...13323127-1031113105-release-310878-signedexe/) and then receive the updates via OTA to the latest 2.24.401.1 first CID HTC__001 then change to HTC__Y13 for the last one.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=42542680
To know your model ID bout in to bootloader and fastboot then connect USB to your PC and run command:
fastboot getvar all
This will give you your CID, MID and main-version numbers. Don't post your iemi or serial numbers

Would that work to change my CID From Optus_001 (stock CID) and super CID it and would that allow sprint roms to work on my phone? its an m7_ul
Wanting to know because there is a sprint MIUI rom from an actual miui dev I want to try and see if It works. Since all CM roms wont work on my device without getting sleep of death.
To install custom rooms you only need to HTCdev unlock, make a stock backup of your existing Rom, install a custom recovery and then flash the custom Rom.
Read this first post carefully a few times then decide if you want to do it:

So, first of all i want to say that i wouldn`t have written here if i hadn`t tried every possible way. I want to know where i did wrong, because this is the case and i wand to ask for your help.
The situation : I flashed the google edition to my htc one, it was fine, and i didn`t quite like it so i wanted to go back.
Now the show starts. I flashed Hboot 1.44, got the old bootloader back, and then when i tried to flash the old ruu zip it says : couldnt allocate 1034027008bytes. Also i have tried the exe file and it stops right at the start and says connection interrupted or some sort like this and it doesn`t continue.
I have S-off, unlocked bootloader. I had stock 4.2.2 with htc__001 cid, and twrp as recovery and of course it was rooted. I flashed the Google Edition after i put the stock recovery.
Thank you in advance for all your help.

What phone is it? Developer Edition?
First thing is to change your CID to a Super CID 11111111
Then you need the proper RUU file for the phone. If its an ATT version
you can flash the 4.3 Developer Edition RUU on the HTC site.

Then your Hboot 1.44 may not be the correct one. PM me with your email and I will give
you the correct one.

I have tried once again with the 1.44 Hboot and the zip from htc official website , the developer edition one.
Still no luck.
With the help of cc999 i managed to revert back to 4.3 Developer Edition.
Apparently there was a mess in my adb and usb drivers.
So i managed to install the 4.3 Developer Edition on another laptop and it worked just fine.
Thank you again cc999 for the support.
You should use the stock recovery to flash the ruu.exe. Makes life so much easier!

Hello everyone!
I have an AT&T HTC One that is S-Off, relocked, SuperCID, black HBoot 1.54, currently on ViperOne 2.7 with stock kernel. I've been trying for the past day and a half to get the 3.22.1540.1 Brightstar WWE to run so I could have it back to stock with the most current OS. I also want to fully convert it to a Developer's Edition phone as well. I thought that with SuperCID you could run any RUU but so far every single time it ends in an error. I also tried changing the CID to the Developer's Edition CID (BS_US001) and still came back with the same error. So here I am on the greatest place in the world for Android phone assistance and advice asking for help in getting my phone converted to a Developer's Edition and/or on the 3.22 RUU. Thanks in advance for any help.
P.S. I already did try to search like crazy for the answers to my questions.!
Well you may need a stock recovery to run an ruu.exe. And I'd recommend going back to super-cid and then running the ruu as well. Be sure you back up all your information that you do then wish to lose, as the ruu will format the entire phone.

No need to relock boot loader because the developer edition comes by default unlocked. Unlock it to continue. You need to change your CID to 11111111 (super CID) and you need to flash the 1.44 hboot (I believe) the black hboot may be causing the problem.
Downgrade to the lowest firmware you can find for the Developers edition.
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
(Yes, twice.)
Check to be sure everything was successful.
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Make sure the bootloader is locked.
Run the ruu.
Let it do its thing.
Boot the phone and set it up.
Go to settings - about phone - software information - system update.
Allow it to download and update.
Repeatedly check for update until you reach 4.3

Hi there,
Did you get it work 3.22.1540.1 dev edition on your phone?, im still stuck in the same problem, got an HTC One AT&T, i got working the RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_BrightstarUS_WWE_1.29.1540.16.exe (dev edition), when i check for updates, there's an update of 17mb, after updating that one, i check again and found the 3.22.1540.1 OTA (around 550mb), i downloaded and agree to install it, but when reboot the phone, it got stuck in the HTC logo screen, did not go further, even trying to get into recovery, same thing, got stuck in HTC logo screen.
Another test i did, was installing RUU_M7_UL_JB43_SENSE50_MR_BrightstarUS_WWE_3.22.1540.1.exe and even the zip version, both of them install correctly but same problem, got stuck in HTC Logo screen, right now my phone is Unlocked bootloader, S-off with supercid (also tried the BS_US001 CID, same problem), hboot 1.55, is there any chance someone can help me with it? thanks a lot

go into stock recovery and do a factory reset ..it should boot then
My Htc One is S-OFF with super cid "11111111" hboot 1.44 and latest radio.
the original cid was TIM_401 something from Italy which I didn't found the RUU over the internet for it, so from day 1 using custom roms (viper one)
Actually I was a iPhoner for many years just few months ago upgraded to "android" so I am pretty new in all this.
I wonder if it possible for example to flash the us developer edition RUU which receive very quickly OTA updates from HTC on my HTC one? and covert my phone to full developer edition?
and another question if I flash the stock rom using fastboot this will upgrade my HBOOT/Radio too?
Sorry for my newb question

s-off you can flash any decrypted RUU.zip by simple edit of the android-info.txt to match your phone (use fastboot getvar all)
Rom will not update firmware (hboot/radio) - RUU will

first flash this firmware
http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/3-22-1540-1_firmware-zip/
change your CID to: BS_US001
Then you can use this guru reset to change to a developer edition ->> http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/guru_reset_m7_3-22-1540-1-zip/
Choose to flash stock recovery and no root and you'll have a stock developer edition One.
I don't think you need it but if you do
download Guru Bootloader Reset from here: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/guru_boo...reset_1-0-zip/
If Ive missed anything someone please chime in

Quick question: I have a Tmous M7, it is now carrier unlocked since i paid it off and TMO gave me the unlock code. I am selling it on ebay. Which RUU should I use to a) return to stock and most importantly b) have the most carrier compatibility? My concern lies with radio functionality.
I eagerly await your responses.

a) need the output of fastboot getvar all except IMEI/SERIALNO
b) if you want to use another ruu, you will need to S-OFF. In most cases, the rom doesn't affect carrier compatibility but there is some exception regarding LTE.

so if the interested person is gonna use it on a gsm network and you are familiar with the process, I would suggest you to either convert it to an international version or dev edition version. (.401 or .1540 version). Don't forget to change MID and CID if you do the conversion so the next owner will be able to receive ota updates without any issues.

So the international would be the .401 and the dev edition the .1540? Am I correct? Which do you suggest? Also, I know where to find the 401 RUU, would you kindly link me to the other?

I found the BS_US001 Dev RUU. Which one do you suggest? And thank you for your help!

I personally use the dev edition rom but both are fine. Dev edition receive ota updates slightly faster. Both ruu can be found on htc1guru.com
