Hi all,
I require the following stock Verizon software version to re-flash my droid 4 as I stuffed around with hacks and it's not working properly.. I have tried getting this from sbf.droid-but the site is down
I require the following file Android 4.1.2 Blur_Version.98.72.188.XT894.Verizon.en.US to use with RSDlite. If any one can help me with this file, it would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Seb

U won't get that PCB anywhere online. It's a proprietary hardware and only LG can produce and supply it.
Alas! I got my phone back, after two weeks and 4 days!

Hey u can't get your 10 posts dis way. It's not fair!
Could somebody do me a favor and pull a folder off a stock or stock based rom (thriller will work) and upload it for me or email it to me (its a pretty small folder). It can NOT be an optimus 3d rom though, it has to be based off of the Thrill firmware.
What i need is /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases
I need the contents of the databases folder. There should be like 4 .db files in there. I would greatly appreciate it.
EDIT: Got it Thanks.
On its way.

This is how you go to ank. There is a link in that thread for a faster download than from Samsung.

Great, then reroot and reinstall recovery? or just reroot?
Thanks
Yes, you will have to reinstall recovery, as well. Just follow the instructions as you did before.

hello all i have a question is there any other way to root my s5 because towlroot says phone not supported
You have to follow the directions on downgrading first. You are probably on 4.4.4.

No there isn't
Yes. You have to odin the [root] kernel to your phone. Then root with towel root. Then re odin the kernel for your fimware. Viola, you now have root.
---------- Post added at 05:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:26 PM ----------
To be more specific, you need to know your phone's model number. You can find it in:
Settings > About Device > Model Number
Mine is the "SAMSUNG-SM-G900A"
As good practice, you should- at a bare minimum, include this information when asking this type of question.

Final thought, you do not actually have to downgrade. Just flash [Odin/Heimdall] an older kernel, then towelroot, then flash [Odin/Heimdall] the current kernel.

This is only for the Samsung-SM-G900A (firmware version G900AUCU2OA1)
How to Root OA1, AT&T Galaxy S5

That's the only way to obtain root there's no other way whether it's the NG3 firmware or OA1.
If one has NCE firmware towelroot works straight away.
Lulz. Technicalities, friend. But let's give the n00b a break.

If he does not have the AT&T model, yes there is. The international is unlocked. Just flash custom recovery then zip install su.
For others there is CF-Auto Root.
But details, details. Right?
Anyone have the problem after flash a rom it takes time for the camera to focus , I have the rom and kernel Bioshok Rapture , thanks for the answers.
There's a thread on that in Q&A

If it happened to me I'd replace the camera module. I've seen a lot of note 4s, however, and still haven't seen such a thing.
