[ALL 2012 XPERIAS] {GUIDE} Recovering from SOFT-Brick

This is from the WIKI page "Brick (electronics)"​When used in reference to consumer electronics, a "brick" describes an electronic device such as a smart phone, game console, router, or tablet computer that owing to a serious misconfiguration, corrupted firmware or a hardware problem, can no longer function. The term derives from the vaguely cuboid shape of many electronic devices (and their detachable power supplies) and the suggestion that the device can only function as a large, heavy object.
The term can also be used as a verb. For example, "I bricked my MP3 player when I tried to modify its firmware."[1]
In one common sense of the term, "bricking" suggests that the damage, often a misconfiguration of essential on-board software, is so serious as to have rendered the device permanently unusable.
However, another use of the term "bricked" is understood to describe a situation where a device is unable to function even when the device does have potential to be recovered later to a working state. In this sense, the damage may be reversible; it is only during the period that it's unable to function that the device is deemed "bricked". This is often referred to as a "soft brick" whereas an unrecoverable device is a "hard brick".​DON'T WORRY, BE PATIENT, YOU CAN FIX YOUR PHONE.​

For this guide I will define types of RESETS that happen when pressing both the POWER and VOLUME UP buttons.​
SOFT RESET = 1 vibration then let go of buttons (hold about 3 seconds); Like hitting REBOOT.
HARD RESET = 3 vibrations then let go (about 10 seconds); Like taking out the battery.*
*USE HARD RESET ONLY IF ALL OTHER TRICKS HAVE FAILED. RECOVERY FROM THIS DEEP LEVEL OF SOFT-BRICK WILL TAKE A LONG TIME​Both can be used at anytime on a working phone. Most bootloops will also allow resets​
First try to use SONY's PC Companion to REPAIR your phone.
However if your bootloader is unlocked this may not work​

For most of the tricks you will need to have FLASHTOOL ready with a STOCK.ftf file waiting at a specific spot.
For help with finding your phones STOCK.ftf file click here
you will find instructions HERE on how to create your own STOCK firmware ftf file for your specific celluar carrier/region and model XPERIA. Each phone model has a different file for every android version. You will need a working phone to get your specific file, However you can use a GENERIC version that comes on international phones to recover from SOFT-brick
As the various 2012 XPERIA forums get organized, the moderators are trying to set up STOCK FIRMWARE ftf file download threads. As these threads come on line I will add them here. For now I will provide at least one file per phone for recovery.
MAKE SURE YOU USE A STOCK FIRMWARE FOR YOUR MODEL. Using the wrong models file will give you the very SOFT-brick your trying to fix. If your not sure then ask for help.​

From FLASHTOOL home, select the flash/lightning bolt button
Select FLASH MODE
Select your stock firmware file
WIPE: everything
If available EXCLUDE: TA. (this option is not available for all stock.ftf files, if it's there just exclude it)

If is not supported, CWM robot is not BL fell to the ground, but you can try to repair the script

up to now no bugs and smooth
Z1 Camera integrated
many more updates
u deserve trying
an unlocked bl required
but some wrong layouts appear in Packageinstaller.apk ,like other sony devices running 4.3
and this apk cant not be decompiled correctly

its not an official kernel so you should unlock bootloader if u want this leak version

I think, that you must already install root and recovert, it's like you install stock 4.1.2 stock FW by FlashTool and lost SU and Recovery

but first of all u should have an UL BL and a kernel with any recovery
new kernel will be automatically installed after flashing ROM
and no rec included in this kernel like leaked T 4.3
and do not update the superSU after boot
or u can flash a SuperSU pack right after flashing ROM
btw 132kernel with rec has been released

Flash it through recovery
Copy the Home.apk from your system/app,delete the Home.apk in the zip & move the old apk to the zip for backup
So copy both zip to your phone

Use it on moto g works fine

towelroot , rooting this rom ? I did that by flashing another kernel then flash back B.2.15 kernel since I didn't have 2.29 one! is that cause problem?
also , accidently I disable Xperia HOME LUNCHER and basic with T.B , now my phone have boot problem! any chance I be able to enable that? I have recovery menu , but NO old backup! just got one backup after this error so I be able to restore some part but it didn't help...

Yep Most Sony phones have 1 year support, E1 is almost 2 years old, and of course a low-end phone, so it's logical. Cyanogen would be nice, don't know if it's possible with the ROMS I linked in another thread.

rom is smooth and works grt, im using this rom for a week now. phone's battery is improved, lollipop with all xperia key feature. marshmallow is available will try after few days. :angel:

Xperia v have 8gb of internal memory that is 4gb system storage and 4gb of internal storage after flashing Xperia overlay, 2gb of system storage is available for applications installation

is the camera apps imported from the Xperia Camera?

Oops! I forgot the memory size of Xperia V, I have a Xperia TX and well you know the habit, So, it's a waste of resources try this rom? I'm running CM13 with the memory unify from AdrianDC, 2GB only for apps isn't enough!
