[Q] Watch Faces - Samsung Gear 2 Neo

I have searched, but have not found the answer.
I have Multiwatch and Watch Styler, I have no problem getting the faces to load. But most of them do not have all the functions working like the small timers in say Citizen style. Do I need to root the Gear Neo 2 or are these just gimmicks?
Sorry if this was asked before...

Not sure what functions are you looking for: if you design your watch face with Styler you'll see the only options are date/BT/battery...anything else is gimmick.

That is what I was afraid of, seems there needs to be more development on this device.

your watch is messed. i had same issue with multiwatch. some watches wouldnt load some would but only be hands or nothing at all. i reset my watch and reinstalled apk on phone. havent had a issue since. all my watch faces work. rooting doesnt do anything except give you access to remove apps and push ringtones and alerts and so on. and increase volume over all.

Its a tasker like app, you can set predefined rules to execute on actions... so for example: you flick your wrist and app would open..
I believe you can setup connectivity between your phone and your gear also, so if you flick your wrist an app could also open up your phone ? Or atleast this is what iv been led to believe anyway.

Exactly what im thinking, Iv got wemo's all around my house... I cant wait till I can control them via my gear !
All I need is to send a GET request to my home server and I can toggle them, tasker handles this with no problems !
What im hoping to do is trigger tasker profiles using atooma actions..
Cool that it is there...not cool that it erased all my watch faces I already created after I updated. Bummer! I don't really notice any differences...did not see any new options or styles of hands or anything. It's still an awesome app though.

I backed all mine up and still lost them. When I went back in after the restore it's like they couldn't be recognized by the app.

How can I add a shortcut or widget to clock face on stock

I want to add my own shortcut or widget to the stock watch face.
If i could build my own watch face on the stock device (not sure if its possible but watchstyler does it unless it only customizes the stock watch face), how would i go about adding a shortcut or widget to the stock watch face?

Just root and flash Null_ to keep all "old" features of the Gear, and get a ton of more features that Android can offer =)

Don't know when I don't use svoice.. Dosn't work at all in my language so can't even test it. But what I tested, it hears me. But obviously my pronouncing of english isn't good enough so results often aren't what I hoped for.
svoice hasn't ever worked in Finnish language so testing it is halfway impossible tbh
All notifications come as with stock so with that you are good to go.

Svoice works well on my GG. I am pleasantly suprised by how accurate it is. I use it mainly to make calls, reply to text while driving

Time signals (sounds) in Tizen

Hello,
I recently upgraded my gear to Tizen. It has been improved in almost all respects, but especially in battery consumption...
When gear still wore android, I could choose a tone for time signals, like the typical digital watch. Now there is no such option in Tizen and I find nothing, not a comment on the forums. I searched apps and they can do either.
Do you know if there are any changes you make it?
Greetings.
If it's an hourly chime you're after try Multiwatch. I use it in silent mode just for the different faces as it's highly configurable (with loads of great
features) - but it also has an hourly chime with a choice of tones. You'll find it in the Gear store.

Thank you!! It is exactly I was looking for, it is even better. And sorry, I didn't know how to say "hourly chime".
The only problem is the home screen does not show new messages like default tizen home screen. I am forced to enter the menus to see messages or missed calls. If not for this, it would be perfect
Keep looking
Thank you.
Glad that helped! I think a number of people have asked the dev for a notifications widget on the watch face - and whilst I understand there may be some challenges with this - hopefully we'll see that on Multiwatch at some point.

LG Watch R / iPhone third party apps

I just got my new LG Watch R. Works fine with my iPhone 6. I can read messages and swipe them away, no promblems there.
Now i would like to use my new watch with sports. Is there any way to install endomundo or something on the watch? Its not neccesary at all to connect endomondo with the iPhone, but i just want to see my speed etc on the watch.
Besides this i have a problem installing watch faces. If i want to install a watchface from the Android wear app it doesn't install anything.
Thanks for the help.

Check out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-w...l-windroid-universal-android-toolkit-t3048122
Also you can side load the apps you want that you cannot download through the iphone wear app using adb. I have seen somewhere that they have the google app store running on the watch...

It didn't work for me. When i do the last step i get an dead android Maybe im doing something wrong?
You don't need to root. Just find the phone APK file, rename it to ZIP, find the mobile APK file inside the res/raw folder, and use adb install on it.
This post is about getting a customized watchmaker onto the watch, but you can do the same and skip the part about modifying the APK

Is there a way to suspend notifications ?

while playing games, watching videos or YouTube, just while I'm using those apps ?
or secondly a way to turn them all off until I want them again ?
android 11 not rooted
Yes go into settings-apps, look for notifications in the apps you want to silence select accordingly
no I'm looking for something that's the other way around for example I don't want to see any notifications when I'm in mxplayer but when I'm not it's OK.
it's something that gaming mode does on some phones. it would be tedious to silence all the apps I think might interrupt the screen one by one each time I play a game and have to undo it when I'm finished.
I take it that this doesn't exist, seems an oversight if so.
actually just turning off the heads up aspect would do, notifications are surprisingly big on this phone, especially in landscape.
Put in Do Not Disturb or set the Samsung game management apk to do so.

duh, didn't think of do not disturb thanks. I looked at the gaming launcher before, I don't like having to sign up to use a ''feature''

Yeah Samsung's eula's suck. I didn't notice any difference with it active on my 10+ anyway.
