my friend thinking about to get galaxy s3 GT-I9305T but there is not 4.4.2 in australian I am wondering if I flash the Germany 4.4.4. does it still work same?
I know I have to change the language lol

I think you can flash, there are people who have flashed firmware for I9305N to I9305 and works perfectly.
I think that you can install the DBT 4.4.4 version on your phone.
Just try it.

Yes,my opinion is that Rom 4.4.4.DBT will works on your terminal.

It is always recommended to make a copy of the EFS folder and backup System.

is how to make backup your EFS folder,not necesary to be root.

question I got galaxy s3 I flashed the philz_touch_6.48.4-i9305.tar done ok but when I go to recovery mode but it was back to stock recovery

Manually install BOC3 lollipop rom on N910F ANK4

All you are aware of this baseband, the XXU1ANK4, it has not received the lollipop update
What will happen if I upgrade it manually with a BOC3 or 5 rom?
Mine is N910F 32GB

Wrong section...
If you flash the BOC3 or 5 ROM you will have Lollipop, that's what'll happen.Use the latest version of Odin and flash it.

What about KNOX?

Knox remains 0x0.
I have updated and downgraded betwin 5.0.1 and 4.4.4. Switched betwin multiple 5.0.1 versions with different CSC's and as long as you are using the stock software (released by samsung) you have no problem with it.

I suppose not...when Samsung sees fit to release it probably.

I did this - same fw. Works fine. I'll just wait til UK CSC is released and ODIN that over the top as I'm n910fxxu1boc3

I received the OTA and it seemed that my baseband has also got changed to BOC3 from ANK4 hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Note 4 N910F Official Firmwares - Mega Links (Updated 12/09-2015)

All this firmwares are from SAMSUNG
only for SM-N910F
I will try keep this Thread updated and give some improvements if possible
You should download Odin 3.09 or Odin 3.10.7 and follow this video if you don't know how to do it
After the process, if you are stuck at boot animation, just go to recovery and clean cache, it should work, if not, do a wipe
If you wanna change CSC for some reason, please follow the Thread made from @TML1504
If you wanna root, check this: ROOT N910F

I have a ITV Note 4, is it ok to install the swedish one? I'm reading about touchwiz and meno issues, plus other problems. The topics are very confusionary, can you do me a summary?

If you have an unlocked device, yes u can.
If you have 5.0.1 Yes it is much, but really much better then 5.0.1
I can compare the performance to 4.4.4

What about touchwiz issues and memo not working?
By installing the swedish firmware, the CSC of my phone will change?

Off course, but you can change again the CSC follow the other thread, or wait for ITV firmware

I've installed the swedish firmware, it works flawless without a full wipe, I'm impressed! The recents tab works PERFECT with zero lag, like a Nexus device! Action memo is not working (it doesn't recognize the text), but it's not a problem since I don't use it. Looking forward to the ITV version, hoping they don't screw everything up

I'm on a UK unbranded btu firmware on 910f. Which one would be best for me to try?
I'm on 3 network so Italy or Austria maybe.

Hi,
I have tried to upgrade the 5.1.1 HTS firmware with Odin . But near the end , I am receiving an error message , in Odin, "Fail. I have tried with the 2 other firmware
but I am always receiving the same error message " fail" .
Any idea please?

Ukraine, but ROM is not for Ukraine.
i've flashed a lollipop because of soft brick i've made with a new version of TWRP 3.0.0.0. only Download Mode was available afterwards.
odin options: f.reset time and nand erase all. then i've got a marshmallow fota.

Does changing the csc sets the KNOX register and/or voids the warranty?

What a let down. No Themes, and no other new features I can see off hand. anyone else got the same issue? I installed the Uzbekistan version for my N910H as its the only one out so far for the H model

Well. If u moving from cm 13 with corrupted efs. U need to fix it . kinda forgot where the thread is. Im gonna do it when dn5 updated

Mine gets fixed after flashing a recovery via Odin, but I was on 5.1.1 backing to stock. Maybe can help.

Yea. Im gonna do it when DN5 updated. Btw. To fix it. The first step is having a bootable device. So u need the cm to reset the efs and doing things.
