you have to download a custom recovery (twrp) to flash a rom
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
download the latest version
boot into fastboot and open command prompt and flash the recovery
"fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-m7.img"
now you can install android revolution hd
I am using Htc One M7 cdwg 802d....

If you can get into recovery you can push a rom to your device.
adb push RomName.zip /sdcard/

If you have t.w.r.p 2.8.7.0 or higher, your phone shows up and mounts as an MTP device and you can copy the rom zip from your PC, an then flash/install it and reboot. There are forums on how to flash recovery elsewhere on this site for the m7spr, and after that you should be able to boot it up with your rom and no problem

When I flash any recovery over my existing one, when I reboot it, the old recovery comes back. Ugh.

Hey, I recently unlocked the bootloader of my HTC one m7 International version running 5.0.2. I flashed a custom recovery too(TWRP). It was all fine until i used some wrong zip file for the supersu and now the phone isn't booting up. The HTC logo is seen after which it goes into a permanent black screen. I'm able to access my recovery and my bootloader. Pls help me out so that I can get this phone working again.
Thank you.
Regards,
Tarun.
