What carrier are you using? Did you go in and check your APN settings?

Scroll down to he part which says s off and follow the instructions but remember that it is recommended that you are on your stock rom.

It's confusing, uhmp last question. Maybe i choose other option to keep my phone s-on. Did you guys have a recommended ROM that can use it without s-off the phone? Thx.

You can use most of the roms without s off the only downside is that every time you install a new Rom you have to flash the boot image separately using fastboot.

Hello just picked up this tablet last week. Went from froyo to rooted gingerbread (tmobile modem) had no data problems.
Today I flashed the cm11 0406 nightly and associated gapps, and now the data is in and out and rarely hits 3g or H.
Did I miss a step? I've verified the APN settings and they are the same as before. Thanks for your help!

Did you replace the JPZ modem with your tmobile one?
If you didn't, there won't be 3G.

I am using the T-Mobile modem.

I flashed cm in recovery, I thought that doesn't have an effect on the radio.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Radio is in /radio/modem.bin for cm on our device.
It is a physical file.
You are now using jpz modem that comes with cm.
Check your baseband if you are not sure.
Just note down the permission of the file /radio/modem.bin
And grab our Tmo modem.bin and replace the one in /radio
Change permission to match the one you replace.
Reboot.

check your apn, if its fine just reboot and wait if needed.
It looks like APN didn't set right but flashing back to stock fixes ? So then u flash stock image and it seems like APN doesn't copy over

just google apn for your carrier, then enter it in manually and save it. thats all you have to do.
I found it APN wasn't selected thanks for the responses !!
