I placed an order with www.cnn.cn in december (a lcd screen for Kaiser as maybe user on this forum had suggested as the owner is a good guy and very fair prices) and decided i didnt need it as i could get a warranty replacement...and they agreed to allow me to have it sent back by "return to sender" method..it took about a month to get back and they said they received it and said theyd refund my money...i emailed back after a month and he said the refund was overlooked his colleage would take care of it..now over 3 months from the date they recieved it i ahvent heard from them...ive sent them multiple emails and no reponse at all...any advice would be nice as i know many of you probably have done business with this guy(s)...
They have a phone number listed on their site:
http://cnn.cn/shop/contact_us.php
I would call during their hours. I'm sure they speak english (even if broken). Get someone on the phone and figure it out.
Hopefully they will be reasonable and this was just an error that they overlooked.
If however they plead ignorance, or that they never got anything from you, there might not be much that you can do.
However, each of these things that you have can strengthen your case:
1) E-mails from them stating they received your merchandise and they are refunding you the money
2) Receipts/tracking info from your returned item to them. The fact that you sent it "return to sender" doesn't bode well for you here unless you have some proof you refused the package.
Since this is a foreign company there might not be alot you can do. Mail fraud might be a possible basis depending on how this transaction was carried out. Also, if you made the purchase on a credit card, check with your credit card company as they might be able to assist (AmEx is very good with this).
As always, contact them...speak directly to them...plead your case...be reasonable. Give them another week or two to sort things out. Get a date from them as to when it will be resolved. If after this time they still haven't resolved it, you may need to get beliggerent and make some threats (even if empty ones) about credit/postal fraud etc.
In the end however you might just need to eat the money for the screen and be more careful with how you transact in the future.
good luck!
wow that was fast, thanks for the detailed info...now i need to work on getting a hong kong calling card lol...ill call verizon and see how much it would be to call them (i have FioS so it should be cheap)
Hi to all,
I want to share with you what appened last month with fastcardtech site... I already bought a zopo zp100 and I was really satisfy about service so I decide to bought a new one but white.
Reading internet site I saw that two models are available but I was interested only in the completely white one so I ask availability at support center of fastcardtech that confirm by mail the availability.
After two day I release the payment and in a week the phone was shipped.
Where is the problem? The phone received was the other one.
After 1 month they could give me a 3% discount (6USD due to account limitation) on next order that I'll never do cause It's not sure what they will ship.
I didn't report all the mail between us where they wanted to refund (6USD) and after 2 weeks no paiment was released so I asked and they wrote back to call support center...
I'm writing this post cause the site is really cheapest but pay attention cause if there is a problem you'll not have support... In some case you feel victim of a joke...
Bye.
P.S. attacched the chat transcript for all the detail
Sorry for what happened
i faced the same problem they listed a phone with high specification at a high price yet it was just specifications hacked in kernel the phone was not of quality as it was priced i bought it at USD 295 yet other phones of exact spec without hacking kernels were at USD 165 so if you are buying online its better you buy from sites with payments protections like escrow of aliexpress as the product i bought there was real coz it had to wait for my confirmation the payments to be made which force the sellers to be sure of what they are doing.
In fact the item was shipped with very low prices i never requested for which led me to be over taxed as the tax authority had to do it by themselves.

i have read and others have complains for same problems (just google it )
i was about to buy from them but it think i will consider it twice
the posthumous fame[/B] should be re-considered by all Internet Shops
I don't know what to tell everyone, but I ordered from them and didn't have any problem other than I paid $2.99 for them to root the phone which was never done nor refunded.
I used EMS shipping and had my phone within a week; the tracking was a bit wack, but I figured it out and it even worked.
Everything works great on the phone and came as promised. I can't comment on customer service other than they never responded about a refund for the $2.99.
Would I order from them again? Maybe, but you might have to cross your fingers and hope you're lucky but my experience was acceptable.

Here's one I busted on aPad.tv.com forum; regarding Hyundai T7 Exynos 4 quad-core processor Tablet PC:
me: I ordered 1 a week ago. It was supposed to have been in stock, but when I checked on the status it was still unshipped. I was beginning to wonder if the T7 even existed; so what aPadTVadmin said about them being in stock, makes since now. I guess most of these online stores get all their stuff drop-shipped, am I assuming correct?
aPadTVadmin: I spoke to DP a couple of days ago regarding the T7 for another reason and all T7 units have been shipped out. This was Thursday. If you ordered 1 week ago it would have shipped out nearly same day. I witnessed with my own eyes a large stock of T7 Hyundais being processed for shipping out last time I visited there.
Please give me your order number so I can validate it and check with them for you.
me: BUNCH OF SCAM ARTISTS! I contacted the manufacturer today and found out that they don't even start shipping them until March 7th, 2013. SO THERE'S NO WAY THAT ANYONE EVEN HAS T7'S YET, EXCEPT FOR A FEW ENGINEERING SAMPLES THAT WENT OUT. SO MUCH FOR SEEING THEM WITH YOUR OWN EYES... MORE LIKE LYING OUT OF YOUR OWN MOUTH.

this guy who wrote this is also part of the scam; he want's you think that the company actually ships a good product, while the truth is, what you'll get is an imitation of the product you order, if at all that; these guys are all in cahoots, and they're on every forum & youtube video out there. They are good at what they do & once they ship the inferior product, if you return it, you lost all your money, point blank.
aliexpress.com is the best site to buy tablets/phones from china. they have buyer protection, and the money isn't released from your account till you confirm the device is received and working.
Scam
I ran into the FCT trap too. Should have done some more research beforehand .
I ordered an HDC Note 3 clone from them and paid through Paypal. They provided a Singapore shipping number and the next day told me the phone is out of stock and was not shipped. Meaning a fake shipping number was provided. The same time the same phone is still listed on their website as "in stock" and questions of potential customers are answered.
They told me to choose an alternative phone which I did with another HDC N9002. 35$ more expensive which difference I paid. They did not ship, after a number of reminders they however provided again the same (!) fake shipping number as before. So the item was never ever intended to be shipped. They play for time and money to get over the 45 days to launch a Paypal dispute. So be careful.
Currently a dispute for full refund is ongoing.
Stay away from these scammers!
SCAM artists
I'm also getting countless fake shipping numbers regarding broken tablet that I actually received from them.
Beware of FCT!
They are always delaying with shipping (some items they never ship). Their policy is to provide a bit lower prices than the others at first sight and then add extra fees for nothing and eventually ship the item you ordered when it is already outdated.
Fake shipping numbers are their method of delay.
FCT
I recently ordered from FCT and of course before reading all the forums of countless individuals who have been scammed or dooped by these guys.
Anyway after 2 weeks from placing my order I received a tracking number followed by another tracking number 2 days later (weird), then a week later it was scanned into the U.S, 2 or so more days it actually arrived at my door!!! (bing bong)
I was pretty stoked however, once I opened my package (HDC GT N9000 Note3) one thing was missing ...No stylus!! so after numerous calls to these guys via Skype (preferred and only method to contact them) I finally speak to a man who tells me that if I buy another phone they would include the stylus plus a gift free of charge....wait the phone was advertised to include this?? blah blah something shipping he began to ramble on about.... all n all pointless
I'm now a month into having my phone which appears to be pretty effin exact to the Note3 however yesterday my phone just disconnected from my network and will not re-connect. I cannot reach a soul at this place leaving me with a fancy mini internet tab/paperweight/possibly shooting target..
Basically they were great until I gave them my money and the phone is awesome however customer service is a huge key to running any successful business and this is something they LACK.....
GOOD LUCK!

I've had my glass since this past weekend, and as fun as a neat gimmick can be, it kind of got old fast. I have multiple issues with mine ( understanding it isn't a finished product ). Some of the problems I'm running into are;
Turning itself on ( I'll charge it for the night and keep it turned off, and when I unplug it in the morning, they're already on somehow )
Really poor battery life ( I know some people report bad battery, but, this is beyond it. It's on standby most of the time, and I'll still only get maybe 4-5 hours on it )
Very poor Wi-Fi ( Even when I'm in the same room as my router, I show only 1-2 bars is strength )
At this point, the glass has failed to really blow me away as a new device, however, I've noticed Google says if returned, there is none right now, but in the future could later charge a re-stocking fee. I'm wondering if anyone has returned theirs for whatever reason and have been charged one? If mine is having such issues and was sent back, I would like to assume the worst is I'd pay for my own shipping+handling.
Thoughts and/or experience?

Where did you see the return policy? I have had them for 12 hours, and like yourself, am not blown away. Is that it? I keep saying to myself. I have a couple account issues, as it seems only to be able to recognize one gmail account at a time. They are neat, but not $1500.00 neat.
Exactly my thoughts. Not $1,500 neat. Especially acknowledging in the future production release there's no chance they'll retail $1,500 as well. My guess is once a final product is released they'll be 1/3 of that price. Moving along from that, here is where I read the terms for Glass including return information:
https://www.google.com/glass/terms/
Return Policy
If for any reason you do not wish to keep your Device, you have up to 30 days from the date the Device is delivered to you to cancel your purchase of the Device and your contract with Google. If you exercise your right of cancellation and the Device has been delivered to you, you are responsible for returning the Device as soon as possible and at your own cost. To initiate a return please contact Glass Support and obtain a return authorization. For some returns Google may charge you a restocking fee. Please review the restocking policies posted here to determine whether such fees apply to you. Upon Google's receipt of the returned Device, Google will issue a refund in your Google Wallet account using your initial payment method minus any applicable shipping and handling and restocking fees.
You must take reasonable care of the items that you wish to return, and we request that you return the Device with its original packaging and any accessories. Upon Google's receipt of the returned Device, Google will issue a refund in your Google Wallet account for the amount paid for the Device, less any shipping and handling charges, within a reasonable time. If you decide to cancel the purchase of the relevant Device as set out in this paragraph and if you fail to return the Device in accordance with these Terms, you may be charged a sum for our direct cost of recovering that Device, and we may deduct that sum from your refund.
I did actually just get off the phone with Google Glass support this morning and informed them the glass program wasn't right for me. They did send a return shipping label to send back. So far so good, so I will probably be sending them back this upcoming week.

Please keep this thread updated. I just purchased my explore glass in tangerine and am not sure if I will be holding onto my pair for the $1,700 the total cost ended up being. (I opted for the stereo headset as well + tax) I'm really excited to try them out but after reading threads like these feel like I may have a similar experience. My delivery is scheduled for tomorrow, hopefully they arrive before I have to go to work. I would like to know the return process and outcome for you. Thanks

Hey guys, I did return my Glass, only reason being was Money, couldn't afford it after plumbing issues at the house. You have 30 days to do so. Just contact Glass support, let them know. They send you a box and a UPS label, pack everything up, ship it back to them, and about a week later you'll get a full refund. No restocking fee or anything. A VERY easy and painless process.

Good info- I have had mine since Dec. 13th. I've had a few issues-
Why can't the battery be on the left side?? All the weight it on one side, not terrible but just kinda funky-
Where the metal ends right above my right ear, scratches my ear- I've seen multiple people complaining about this and putting mole skin on it-
Plain home screen? Just the time?
No real settings? No ability to clear cards?
Battery isn't terrible bad (unless you're showing them to everyone).
Yea it's neat but still way too early for a release. I'm going to send mine back and get my $1,620 back... Sooner rather than later too- If they fall off my head and break they're not returnable and can't be fixed.
Anybody ever think about selling them on ebay?? I've seen a few pair go for $2,000+ within the last few days, only a couple hundred $ profit after ebay fees but still better than returning for $0 profit...
Just like mentioned above, it was really painless. I called Google support and their emailed me a shipping label. They however did not send me a box. I will maybe try contacting them again to see if they'd be willing to do so because I'd rather send it back in their custom box than something I put together. I considered selling them on eBay but their privacy policy does mention they don't want owners selling it third party, and I'd hate to be in the scenario someone who buys it has a problem and then tries contacting Google Glass support and find out I was the original owner by serial and they get upset with me for breaking the policy. Maybe I'm just over paranoid.
Anyways, seems quite painless as long as you do it within the 30 days, the support was very prompt and polite and didn't dispute the problem. I informed them they just weren't meeting my needs. I just couldn't keep them charged in order to play with them. Hope this helps anyone who's curious.

I have also initiated my return process through email. I'll keep the thread updated with my experience. I used my Glasses over the past week in various circumstances and while I enjoyed the neat factor and various built in features cannot currently justify the high price tag for my everyday use. My main concerns are battery life and real world use case scenario's. My battery typically lasted 3-4 hours maybe 5-6 with light use. This seems short for the hardware involved and tiny screen the device needs to power. I believe if there was a more expansive settings menu where wifi and bluetooth could be turned off when not in use battery life could easily be extended to 7-8 hours for taking pictures/videos and such. I couldn't find enough use cases for the current crop of glassware available and found the cards for updates very annoying after they built up over the days and week I used Glass. No way to dismiss them apparently even after a factory reset and new setup. Anyway when it's all said and done I felt very lucky to have the opportunity to use Glass even for just one week. This experience has kept me very interested in the new technology and I tried to evangelize and give any interested geeks the chance to try out my pair whenever someone came up to me and asked questions. I won't miss all the stares from people who had no idea what was on my face and certainly let me know it when I glanced their way. Also constantly worrying about where the glasses are and making sure they were safe and not in danger will be a sigh of relief.
I initiated my return process via phone this morning. I should be getting an empty box with a shipping label. Indeed it was a very neat gadget but I simply could not justify the 1600 price tag on it. It's got a lot of great apps that have potential though. I will be following the news about them closely still.
-edit-
Got the box Monday morning. It seems from the instructions that they alloted no room for the accessories in the return box?
Agreed
All of the aforementioned issues appear to be the norm. I contacted Google for return and got the hard sell, and decided to try them for another week just for good measure, but battery life coupled with price vs utility makes keeping them unlikely. Although I DO like the Tesla and Strava apps quite a bit.
Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to tell everyone about my recent experience with the insurance provider of Sprint, Asurion. In the past I heard a lot of terrible things about them, and really expected the worst. On Sunday I was pushed into the corner of a table and my phone hit the corner, cracking the screen and for whatever reason keeping the screen from actually functioning at all. Sunday night I attempted to file a claim, but for security reasons I had to call them.
Monday morning rolls around and I call. They have all of my information from the initial claim and only need my credit card for the deductible. Throughout this entire process they wouldn't do anything unless I had my Sprint pin, which was nice because meant they were serious about security since it is hard to access the pin. The Asurion rep tells me that I'll get the phone most likely the next day and I received tracking information a few hours later that said the same thing.
So Tuesday rolls around, and on the tracker is says that it should arrive at the destination by 3pm. Sure enough, by 2pm it was already there. The self activation wouldn't allow me activate the phone (again for some odd security reason) and I had to call Sprint directly. I called and quickly got a very pleasant woman named Christina who was very clear, loud, American, and enjoyed chatting with me while we waited for the phone to finish its testing. Within 10 minutes I was up and running again.
To be honest I was completely surprised by the great service that I received throughout the entire process. Better yet, I'm pretty sure the phone I got to replace mine was brand new since it had no marks on it and still had the original stickers.
TL;DR I had a great experience with Asurion and Sprint after breaking my phone.
Side note: The reason we paid $11/mo is because its a convenience. Asurion covers everything that could possibly happen to the phone, and then gets a new phone extremely quickly, quicker than most other companies. Many people on my account need this service, including myself since I'm at school and am very involved on campus and speak with outside companies and advisers quite a bit. While it seems unnecessary to pay this fee every month, it is definitely FASTER than saving that money up and buy a new Nexus 5 directly from Google for $350. Will it be nice? Of course it will be, but I won't get it as fast as Asurion sends it.
Asurion: Excellent Customer Service!

I had a really sh*tty experience. When they replaced my HTC one due to the camera being faulty they gave me a One with a terrible, cheap screen. They do not use official components and that particular one had a cracked screen before or something. Just terrible. I demanded a new phone and got an S4.

You have probably had the only positive experience I've ever seen. Your better off buying through Squaretrade for insurance as long as your not worried about lost or stolen. The deductable is usually half the price too

I made an order on the 26/6 where it said that stock was available, a DHL order was created on the 27/7 that stayed on Shipping information received. Contacted DHL after a few days to see where my order was and they said it was never picked up.
Contacted OnePlus Live support, where i found out they did not have stock that's why they did not proceed and was told to wait 48 hours. I did.
After 48 hours my order was still not moving, contacted them again, opened a ticket and been trying to find out where my order is, finally they said that the order was lost and after 1 week of live support and support tickets they tried to resend me the order.
After 3 days that the new order stayed in pending and avoiding my question on "when will the new order be shipped" i opened a ticket in paypal asking for my money back.
It only took them 24h to hold the new order and asking me to close the dispute and as they put it "The system will automatically unhold the order upon ending PayPal dispute. Then the order will be shipped out based on the ETD (estimated time of arrival) you saw when you placed this order."
Thanks but not thanks, after i read https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus/comments/4twljv/oneplus_three_package_has_arrive_but_without_the/ I will never trust OnePlus again.
#NEVERTRUST rather than #NeverSettle.
I post this here, maybe it will manage to save someone the time and money from dealing with OnePlus and their support deparment.
So why instead of going through all of this misery, didn't you just buy one on Swappa??? There are brand new, never used or opened, as well as lightly used, tested phones, often for the same or less money than ordering one.
I just bought one there; in fact, I have bought my last four phones there -- not a single problem with any of them. Very easy and trouble free way to get a new phone.
Wow I was thinking of buying this phone and canceling the Axon 7 since everyone says this has better performance, but after that story no thank you and the other one who essentially got robbed no thanks. Loving ZTE.
some people unfortunately have some bad luck and bad experiences, just b/c this happened to him does not mean it will happen to you, some people just dont have things go right for them, i don't think u should not get the phone off of his bad luck, that is just the way life works, somethings works for people and somethings don't, i had a great experience, i work for at&t mobility and i encounter people who do have such bad luck and we can't do anything for b/c of certain circumstances and yet for some others we can work wonders for. I think it just so crazy how life is on how somethings work out for some people and somethings just go so wrong for people. You just gotta find out what works great for u
it's strange that it was marked as "in stock" because I ordered mine on June 21th (shipping to France) and before I paid it was clearly marked that estimated shipping date was for June 30th, so 9th day later, plus 7 days for DHL shipping.
Anyway I had to go in another country for 2 weeks and sent it to my parents home.
In the end they sent it on June 27th, so 3 days ahead of estimated shipping date and DHL was long as it was told.
On your invoice, what is the "estimated dispatch date"? their stock may differ by continent but for Europe stock was already low.
Anyway you don't need to warn European buyers as it's not possible to order op3 for most European countries, until end of September I think.
This could have been the 2nd OnePlus 3 i ordered from them. The 1st one came within 3 days when they first announced it. Everything went just fine and i was pretty pleased with the phone itself.
In this case i had to go through the process with their so-called "Customer Support", which is one of worse situations I've ever been through and person after person I've talked to in order to solve this was giving me the same answer "Wait 24/48 hours more". This was going more than a week.
@Le_Zouave It said in stock that's why i continued from them and not from any other website, better of getting the product from the source - i guess. Plus, In the ticket when finally the decided that my order was not send, i asked if it would be send "NOW" proceed, if not refund me 'PLEASE', they continued with the 2nd order which stayed pending for 3 days.
@zulu657 I would have bought it from any other website that supported shipping to Cyprus - my country, but since it showed "in stock" and i my previous device came within 3 days i thought "why not".
Point here is, If everything goes as it should then you might get the products you ordered, IF anything goes wrong and you have to solve it with their Support center, then i feel bad for you.

Nah man, already bought 3 phones from this company and they're pretty chill
Mine was fine. Enough said. Scare tactics. Are you paid by a competitor?
Also got mine within 3 days. I was really surprised at how fast it was delivered. On the other hand I have been waiting for a delivery from America (I'm in Austria) for nearly a month. Sometimes the packages get held in customs and can stay there for weeks. Either way a bit of patience if all you need. No point getting all worked up over something so petty. First world problems, am I right? Lol
But still...
This phone is a beast...
Nevermind the cs. All cs are almost the same they are like robots programmed to say what they are about to say.
To answer all,
@GeneralDisaray2 not paid by anyone. Just sharing my 2nd OP3 experience with all of you.
@camdadeye291 First OP3 i ordered as soon as it got announced came in 3 days, was as surprised as you. But as soon as i had to contact their support center for my 2nd order to solve my issue it all went to hell. Plus i would not call losing 500€ a 'first world problem'.
@marc_ecko28 The phone itself is one of the best i ever owned, that's why i ordered this 2nd one along with more cases.

At first, my phone took longer than stated but I didn't logon to XDA and write a negative review about the situation. Nothing is guaranteed in life except taxes and death! Stuff you order on Amazon Prime - not guaranteed to get to you the next day. The game you purchased from GameStop or Best Buy - not guaranteed to get to you by the stated time and date. The phone you bought from OnePlus - not guaranteed to get to you by the date and time given. I think you missed the part where OnePlus halted sales of the OnePlus 3 due them not being able to meet demand - due to the devices popularity? Guys, please don't be phased by this account of "bad luck". What happened to this guys is not guaranteed to happen to you.

The phone did not take longer, it never came since the 26/7. Actually, it was never packed but they just created a DHL ticket for pickup and that's it. I did not post this to inform people about OnePlus' lack of stock, but to share my experience with their Support deparment.
I had delays with products that i ordered from the Internet, but as soon as i contacted the company they handled it, like any company that respects their customers would. OnePlus support did not.
What i saw from their support department is keep the customer waiting. At least that what they showed me. It was not with 1 guy of their support, but with most of them, only 2 guys that i spoke with in live support actually came clear and i respect that.
The order was made before OnePlus came out in public and halt the sales, but that again plays no role as again I'm saying that my issue is not with their lack of stock, but with their lack of support and respect for their customers.
Was it bad luck? Yes. Will this happen to anyone else? Hope not. But in the case it happens and you need to contact their customer support, I feel bad for you.

Nope. I opened a case with Paypal for a refund 4 days ago.
I still wouldn't go as far as to say that this is appalling service. It's just a classic case of bad luck. Not every company has made their millions abiding by the book. If companies didn't make mistakes, they'd definitely be something wrong.
