So, I saw that this rom needs 4.4.x, so I installed XperianZe (The 4.4.4 version), after that I installed build #2, when the phone booted up, I turned off the adaptive brightness, after that, everything is going smooth.
BUT, Wifi (surprised, because dev said it's working), gsm data and voice not working, any suggestion?

Root device (if not already rooted) open up terminal type:
su
enter
setenforce 0
enter
wait
Do not type su setenforce 0 because it will not work

I've tried in a lot of different ways, but the ROM doesn't work. After the first boot i'v enough time to set off the autobrightness option, but then the phone starts to reboots in loop anyway. before I had XperianZ3 4.4.4 KitKat, I've tried to flash the ROM normally, and I've tried to do a dirty flash. I've tried to install before the first build of the ROM over the second (normal flash and dirty flash) and viceversa(normal flash and dirty flash). The result is the same in all the cases. What should I do?

what update did you expect?
If you expect that the new build was based on 5.0.3 you will need wait, sources to that version of android is not taken

Use other applications other than $cripter if that app doesn't work. Its a trial and error for some

Try flashing stock and flashing from there. Possibly has to do with the Kernel not being stock.

The fix is EXPERIMENTAL. I couldn't guarantee on all devices.

i tried to flash it for the first time and i used build 2 but im just im a bootloop the logo keeps showing on and off and nothing happens
and im pretty sure i followed all the steps of the flashing correctly

I use PA Gapps pico modular proper DPI version. Works like a charm. I prefer this small package while than I can install other apps (like gmail, hangouts) from store as user apps, not system apps.

How long did you wait? For me first boot take about 10 minutes.

Before flashing kernel make full wipe once again.

I successfully flashed the rom. And everything seems to work very well except the album..it can't open the photos either the thumbnails...I followed the instruction to delete the thumbnails in the sd card...but still the same problem..any idea?

Update to the latest version and see.. If problem still persists, let me know.. Plus i need a logcat.. Google on how to take a logcat..

Edit...i made a manual install of the latest album apk and it fixed the problem..,,and i reflashed the Gapps because it kept saying (Gapps Stopped working)...now everything its working like charm...awesome rom!!

Just flash the ROM after wiping data, cache, dalvik cache..
#Borias yes you can flash it, just make a clean install,wipe everything through recovery and follow these steps... 1-flash the rom 2- flash directly on cwm any 283 kernel of your choice (I prefer Hodor kernel) 3- Reboot system and let it settle.. 4- Reboot into recovery and flash superuser fix 5- Reboot system and enjoy it.

Yes you can. You don't need to flash stock kernel because PureXZ ultra has a kernel image inside the zip. So no special steps are needed.

Use CWM or Philz Touch to flash the ROM.. And if u r coming from 4.3/4.4.2 or any other CM/AOSP based ROMs, flash the 4.4.4 stripped kernel from zippy's thread.. See instructions for that..
I installed XZDual recovery and it rebooted me to Teamwin recovery, is that wrong? I was on rooted 4.4.4

Yes, u did nothing wrong.. Just select reboot and press volume up when it vibrates during Sony logo occurance.. And u will get Philz touch.. Flash the ROM and make sure u wipe the data,cache and dalvik cache before installing the ROM..

saw your post that you said you will be rebasing the rom.
will you be able to include:
- x-reality/super vivid options like how it was on your current v3?
- and whatever you're doing that makes the camera start up faster and lockscreen glitter nicer!
also i noticed that sometimes while trying to unlock my screen i have a black wallpaper for a few seconds instead.
not sure if thats a bug, but its nothing major as it doesnt always happen.
(note: it happens on the default wallpaper as well)

All the stuff from V1 and V2 will be there along with some improvements.. Plus that lockscreen black image is a bug from Stock.. I'll try fixing it anyways..

Furthermore, offline recognition language packs are installed.
Also there's some troubles with GPS. Start is too long and often it simple doesn't work at all.

stuck at ANDROID IS UPGRADING
I did everything accordingly and everything went well. The phone started and ANDROID STARTED UPGRADING. It installed all the apps but now I'm stuck at

EDIT: Problem solved.......
I force restarted the phone , then restored and installed v3 again
I mashed up the V3 and V4 update together on the first attempt(i'm an idiot :silly: )

You could try mounting system in CWM.
I have no baseband
I formatted the system, data, cache, dalvick cache and then installed the Extreme V3. I went through the setup for Xperia and waited atleast 10-15 minutes then, booted into twrp and flashed Zeus Shift V4 and wiped cache and dalvick cache and reboot system. When i booted to the OS, i had no network/baseband so i flashed @dipesh1502 's baseband fix and it still didnt fix the issue so i flashed the .207 firmware baseband only in flashmode as i have locked bootloader. I booted to the OS and found that the baseband was still unknown, please let me know if there was something i did wrong or whether or not if there is a fix for the no baseband that i havent already attempted please.

first of all i have to mention , this is the best android 5 rom i have tried but it needs some improve (like the usage of ram not like aosp 4.4)

First of all, I am newbie.
I have installed Glade ROM on my Cancro Mi3. It's working absolutely great except Camera is crashing.
When I tried to installed gApps (pa_gapps-modular-mini-5.0.1-20150315-signed), I am getting error Insufficient System Partition Space. I am surprised as I had done a full wipe and also had formatted System 1 Partition using CWM Recovery.
Please help.

I am not offending you, but initially I had downloaded the incorrect version and was facing the same issue. The correct version is Glade-v1.0-cancro-OFFICIAL-20150319-1122.zip. I faced no issues with this. However I am unlucky with PAGapps. I am getting error while installing the same.

1. use google search to find gapps for 5.0.x;

Very good rom, battery life is really great. Until now I was using Quantum rom's because of that, from yesterday your's is the 1st choice.

FIX FOR Google Play Services FC
Well... After experimenting, flashing 3 different GAPPS packages, wiping all possible combinations of partitions, finally I could fix the FCs. It really sucks I can't post it on the thread, because I have less than 10 posts.
Anyway, here is what I did. It worked in two devices XT1064 (the first one worked after many experiments, and the second one after clean install of CM PF + TK Pico GAPPS uniDPI (but also presenting FC)).
*You must previously uninstall all GAPPS packages and install TK Pico GAPPS uniDPI.
To do that, go to recovery and wipe only System and Cache, and flash CMPF and GAPPS zips.
SO...
On the device with Installed TK Pico GAPPS uniDPI AND still presenting Google Play Services FC, go to Settings, Apps, All, find Google Play Services and:
a) Verify last numbers of the Google Play Services Version is 436. If it is 430, then skip next step and just delete GPS app cache.
b) delete all data, force stop and uninstall update. May appear an error because of admin rights bla, bla, just uncheck Google Play Services from device admins and, then continue.
c) your Google Play Services version should now be 430. Click on DISABLE.
d) download and install Google Play services 7.5.73 (1976294-430).apk from APK MIRROR HERE
e) Open Google App to launch Google Play Services Wizard
DONE.

No..sorry but it s the same ,rom clean flashed,pico gapps ad you have said,bit no..still crashes

when i flash TK gapps it says installation abborted...
not only with this gapps i flashed moduler gapps from TK .. again same error..
with every ROm.. what shud i do now..?

The problem is with the gapps zip file. Not the rom. Download the zip again. Most probably its corrupted

Hmm.. Try this: twitter com/arter97_dev/status/603495555734503424
replace the file with TWRP (dont forget to first mount System) and set chmod to 775. Reboot.
BTW, Google Play Services version -436.
Any fix for front cam bug?
Whenever i switch to front camera, it says "can't connect to camera" and i need to delete app data to get the rear camera working again.
Really great ROM otherwise been using it as daily driver for 2-3 weeks now

Really? Ok lets see what we can do. What kernel are u using? Did you reboot after disabling kms? You may need to wipe caché after disabling also
@TeeHasj @godoy.rafa If you are experiencing FC from GPServices with high accuracy and battery saving modes, it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with your gapps. It is caused by a lib in /system. Please check my preview post. You need to replace that file with TWRP.
BTW (I can't post in the thread because this sh*t of 10 posts rule)
I confirm that, javacore replaced, everything works fine, Only the ram usage is strage but Under control

Hi Guys,
Thanks for working on our Xperia SP devices and give them another lives !!
I've two bugs since the installation of this ROM :
- the wifi seems to be unreachable few minutes, hours, after connection (random bugs), however I'm close from the router.
- the music player apps crashed after playing 1 song, and sometimes directly after launching (I try to install another player, the same error occured).
Do you think it's possible to fix theses problems ?

it runs perfectly with me
just flash this
then install xposed as normal apk

have you performed clean installation beginning from stock ?!

Hi Ahmed_HM,
Yes I performed a clean install (full wipe (cache, dalvik, data) and doing a wipe cache/dalvik after flashing the new rom.
I was not in stock before this install but in CM11.

i don't know if it can solve the problem, but i recommend flashing stock rom, rooting it, installing recovery then flashing this rom as i did

I performed a clean install this morning but unfortunetaly have sames issues.
When I start "music player" it crash immediately (I tried to empty my sd card format it but no ameliorations).
For the wifi It seems that the connection is more stable than before but If you loose the signal (for example go out and come back into the house), it's impossible to reconnect.
If you try to force the connection, the phone says "connecting", and few seconds after just says the ssid is registered.
If you reboot the phone, your connection success .
Anybody have theses issues also ???
