I'm having problems sending messages in my gmail. I have no problem reviving but when I try to send my messages r stuck in the out box no matter how many times I refresh my gmail. I was wondering if anyone ran into this problem and found a solution. I would like to fix this without a wipe and reflash.

Tried rebooting? How about wifi?
Yup tried revolting any I get the same problem whit or without WiFi.
Did you find a solution? I realised this morning, that I can't send mails through Gmail from my G1 anymore. Already tried rebooting, but that didn't solve it. I got no wifi at hand, but will test this evening and post my findings then.
Don't mind it. Just found a solution myself. Just cleared Gmail Apps' data and everything is back to normal. Perhaps that will work for you too, if you did not find a solution yet.
Yep,
I had a problem with sending and updating what was new and was unread on the website. Clearing the gmail storage and the other gmail email cache fixed it right up.
Clearing the gmail storage/data worked for me as well but the solution only worked for a day and then I had to do it again. I will have to see how long it lasts this time around. Does anyone know the reason why this is occurring? While the above is technically a solution, it appears to only be a quick fix. If we can figure out what is causing the problem then it won't happen again.
I can tell you that it happened to me for the first time when I upgraded from Cyanogen 3.6.8.1 to 3.9.8. I downgraded and still had the problem and that's when I cleared the storage. I really don't think it had anything to do with the upgrade/downgrade especially since I used a Nandroid restore which put a stable version back on my phone.
Just my 2 cents.
Well, somewhere I read that this happened to someone after updating / installating an app using the send intent. I am not sure whether it was at that time I updated Bluex, but it may be.
I dwnloaded bluex a lil ago maybe that might be it I'm going to unistall and see
Maybe, but I have to say that I only had those problems once and they did not reoccur for me.
Also I did not have that problem when running the official ROM. But I only had Bluex for a short while on the official, because receiving files made me root my phone.
Any updates on this issue? I don't have Bluex, fyi. However, I occasionally have this problem, and only clearing the Gmail storage fixes it... for a short time anyway. It's very frustrating, considering this is a Google phone and that's my primary email. I need to be able to send my emails quickly without having to constantly clear the storage...especially since I have 75+ mb free on the device and hundreds of mb free on my ext3 partition. As best as I can tell, this also affects synchronizing with Google's servers (obviously)... so if I delete an email on my phone or pc, it doesn't show that change on the other device.
I used AutoNooter 3.0 on my gf's NookColor, and everything went great, but I set up all the logins under my accounts since she was gone. When she got back, I deregistered my account so I could set up her account. I accidentally left the SD card in, so I'm not sure if that's where my troubles came from. Now, youtube won't open, Gmail won't refresh, and the market is not downloading apps.
It looks like I could use ADB to get these fixed, but I can't for the life of me get ADB working even after following the exact steps. I've tried reflashing, but it's still remembering the wifi password and behaving the same way.
Do I have to do that 8 times reboot step, or is there something else I can do since it seems rooted to me except for the google apps?
Got it running. For anyone having this same issue in the future, here's what I did:
Erased and Deregistered
Reburned the .img onto the SD card
Reflashed
It was actually pretty simple. Now I just need to get to 10 posts so I can post in the development thread in the future.
For some strange reason, Spotify no longer seems to recognize my phone's internal storage. I'm unable to listen to the radio and the following error pops up: 'No SD Card Found: We found no place to store our data, please check that you have a working SD card and free space". This started occurring after I upgraded to Mike's ARHD 10 (and remained after I upgraded again to 10.1). I tried Googling the issue, but couldn't find a single instance of anyone facing a similar problem. I'm fairly certain the rom is not to blame since no one else mentioned anything related to this--plus, the rom has been awesome thus far (just like Mike's earlier versions). I tried fixing permissions, and even re-installing rom after performing a full wipe. I also should mention that after uninstalling then re-installing Spotify, the app seems to run fine for a little while--but the error will rear its ugly head again after I try to open the app again at a later time . Also, I am able to access my internal SD card without a problem via ES File Explorer and everything looks about right when I go to Settings > Storage.
Any help would be appreciated
I get the same message when trying to start Spotify on my stock Gnexus. All other apps using internal storage works fine.
I have now uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify and for now it works fine, but I have to download all offline lists again

Thanks for the response. I started to receive this error (fairly recently) when I installed or updated my current rom. I got tired of having to keep re-installing the Spotify app, so eventually I went into Settings and decided to 'Delete cache and saved data' for the heck of it. This might not exactly be a feasible option for those who have a paid subscription and actual saved data, but I have yet to receive the same error again. :highfive:

Same issue here on my S4 (found this thread through the Spotify community... funny how us XDA members always end up troubleshooting products, lol). I was on Slimbean and thought it was the rom. Restored my stock Nandroid and got the same error a few hours later. Apparently, this will happen again later. Just wanted to chime in with my experience.
Same on HTC One. Put Sentinel rom on over the weekend, re-downloaded all my playlists and it worked fine on Monday...this morning, get the SD card message.
I was looking at where all my space was last night since I put Sentinel on and there was about 1.5gb in a Spotify folder under sdcard/data...the folder has gone.
I will re-install Spotify and see what happens.

You should contact Spotify for support, you pay for it afterall.

It's been my experience in my past two and a half years here at XDA that the developers of ROMs and homebrew usually find a solution before the actual app developers do. In this case, there was a thread in the spotify support forum. That led me here. *shrug* it's how we do.

I come to XDA to find workarounds but when I pay (subscribe to) for something I expect the devs to work on a solution, I think the people working at spotify would like to hear about your problem too, because you can help them but many other people would just give up on them...
I had a problem too and contacted them, they are friendly and responsive

I always go directly to them. And I did. However, posting in multiple places never hurts. if you read my original post, you would see I found this thread from the Spotify support threads.

Spotify has many issues with android and the sd card error problem,i personally read the spotify forums and there are hundreds if not thousands having the same error spotify really should get there act together and fix this after all it is a paid service and you should be getting what you pay for.
What i did was put a new sd card in formatted it using the phone and kept spotify out, everything worked fine,so my advice for now would be to avoid spotify at all costs as you lose everything thats on the card as well ,at least until they fix this bug,of which we are all having to pay for
So after encountering the annoying 505 error I did a full back up via the Backup app as sync manager on the laptop wasn't playing ball.
Did the hard factory reset and then restored from the back up file I had made 10 minutes beforehand.
Most things have restored but I went to check a picture and ALL GONE!
Things like whatsapp messages and contacts didn't restore either.
What can do to recover the lost images?
and typically none of it worked to solve the 505 error.
I know this isn't the usual standard of question on this forum but is anyone able to shed some light on my problem?
Does the HTC Backup program, back up images or is that an oversight on my part?
ok so it seems that i'm an idiot and htc doesn't back up images on an htc account back up.
I'm now trying to run my phone through recovery software (MagicCute Recovery) but the program won't recognize the phone, I guess because it's not a mass storage device and connects via MTP?
I read a guild to turn on developer mode and then turn on USB debugging but that hasn't made any difference.
If there a way to plug my phone in and the computer to recognize it as a mass storage device?

check google playstore for undelete software, plenty on there, be careful about how much you install or uninstall.
Dont know if your aware of this, but nothing is ever really deleted, its flagged as safe to be overwritten and hidden from the user, too much installing or un-installing apps will overwite the flagged images.

I am sure that when connected to a Linux machine it shows as an external drive...not sure if that helps at all ?
If what i suggest is true then you can run Linux within windows from a USB drive, but clearly your recovery software has to be a linux compatible version.
Just a suggestion rather than fact!

Currently browsing play store now, is there any you can recommend?
I wasn't fully aware of how it works but I knew I could recovery most with some nifty software. MagicCute has worked wonders in the past for me.
At least all my music is stored in music play store.
I found a PC based program to scan the phone but the phone requires to me rooted for that, although that was my main reason for joining this forum to root I'm a little apprehensive to do anything like that until I have saved my pics!
Cheers.

Someone else said they had great luck with DiskDigger Pro
Good luck!
Sorry sheppster, completely missed your reply somehow yesterday. Thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks clsa I'll give that a go once rooted.
I'm currently reading, reading watching and rewatching content on the rooting process. Very confusing for a complete and utter noob. A lot of content is spoken as if I have a clue, haha.
But I'm now registered on HTC DEV, all videos and content say to select all other supported devices due to the HTC One not being listed, but it is. I'm guessing HTC Dev has been updated since the guides were posted. Shall I click HTC One or still use other devices?
I installed Android Studio and also JDK which it asked for, but when continuing to install Android Studio I got the following message...
Is this detrimental to the use of the program or can I just continue?
Sorry this thread is going to turn into more of a rooting Q&A.
I now have sync manager working correctly and have made a back up on my laptop which I'm happier with than having something floating about in my HTC Account. So I think I'll go ahead and try unlocking my bootloader.
Well I have unlooked the bootloader now. Successfully? Not sure!
After confirming to unlock it then restarted and kept going round in circles, it's now saying "Android is upgrading" running through 253 apps. Nothing like the XDA video where it just restarts as a fresh phone.
I used the HTC One instructions from the drop down menu in the end.
Fingers crossed at the end of that it's working and I can continue to root.
Well considering I have an early start I've stayed up far too long messing around.
BUT! My phone is now rooted, I did attempt putting a venom rom on but it didn't install properly although I seem to have a large ammount of it's features here and there like being able to boot directly to bootloader or recovery from the power button.
But any way the lapcop software I had appeared to be useless, it found 603 images from various emails and programs files none on my actual pictures. I'm not running disk digger which again has found background images but still 85% left to scan.
I'm not holding out too much hope now as there's been a few files added and deleted to root and also reset again to root.
I'll update tomorrow how it went.
I didn't realise how cheap Disk Digger Pro was, so bought and ran that last night. I think it found touch under 4000 images but again mostly PNG program images.
It did manager to find 41 useful images though. It seemed to mainly pick up pictures which I had recently used on facebook, so annoyingly mainly recoverable images through facebook.
It picked up a lot of signatures from various emails and made a lot of duplicates. Not a bad effort for under 2 quid though.
After updating AW 2.0 to my watch, I am having trouble trying to set up google account on my watch. I have factory resetted the watch a several times, and I have cleared the cache of Android wear and Google service app.
Put the button on the watch. Go to the parameter, then go to personnalisation and enter your google account. Voil
I have the same issue. Did you manage to get a resolution?
or anyone have any ideas.
Running on Android wear 2.0 and Lenovo P2 on 7.0
Can anyone offer any advice on things to check or steps to try.
Basically when i try and add an account on either the initial set up or later, it never finds my Google Account. Just get the loading circle spinning and spinning.
I am pretty sure the problem is actually either the Android Wear app or the Lenovo ROM, as i can connect it fine with my LG G4.
Also have posts on the Lenovo forum and Android wear forum.
Mark
I am having the same problem. If you check google product forums, there are more people with various watches and phones having the same problem. I think its something on google's side. I wonder if downgrading to an older version of the wear phone app will work.

I was having this issue until today. I uninstalled the Android Wear app, Wiped Google Play services cache and data, downloaded and installed a Wear APK from february off of apkmirror, installed it, wiped cache and data for the app, reset my watch, and it worked! Rather than sitting at the loading animation forever, I was instantly brought to the copy accounts screen.
I tried going back to an old version, but I didn't go back to Feb. Thanks.

Try copy the account to your watch using your cell data not wifi

Thanks but no dice. Does this on both wifi and cell data.
solution is create a second google accout on the phone, disconnect and reset the watch, when you re-pair it to the phone both the old and new google accounts should show up, add the account you want and once the set up is complete go to accounts on the phone and delete the account you don't want.......worked for me on Sony z5 and moto 360
I just got the same problem, but found the solutions now. here's what the solutions i found from someone in the internet and it did work on mine. First, Remove your secondary or more google accounts in your mobile phone (make sure there's one left only), you can add it again later. And then you can try again to add account/ copy account from your watch.
The point is, the watch somehow can only copy account if there's only one google account on mobile phone.
Hope this help.

I tried everything and realized it was either downgrade to 1.5 or suck it up. I said forget this and bought a Samsung Gear S3.
Anyway, Google (and I say Google because this has happened across numerous brands on AW2) messed up on this one. I would have stuck with AW but for this, but their response has been totally unacceptable.
