Can anyone assist me in creating the images for such a theme?

Okay, that's fine with me. I just want all aspects of the phone to be themed

Okay, here is the link to the smart keyboard. and here is the theme http://www.mediafire.com/?yy778k6t2nvltj7. I'd like the keyboard background to be black with fading blue glow around the borders of each key. That's basically all I have for now lol. If you want to add your own touch to it please do.
Ok im out with friends right now, and i think its gonna get late. But tomorrow ill see what i can do
Edit: i think u should remove the smart keyboard link, cause its paid. But im gonna pm it to u as soon as im done.
Edit2: I`ve looked at it and those r all *.9.png`s. To edit them i have to Decompile the apk and Recompile it. And i really have no idea how to compile signed market apps.

You should check the official Smart Keyboard forum. Somebody has started work on this: http://www.dexilog.com/smartkeyboard/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1007
Completely forgot about theme chooser, could try doing it with that, but it will take a while cause ive never done that before, another thing i could try is just to make a fake apk to compile the .9.png and see if it works when i put them into the smartkeyboard.apk. ill report when im back on the computer.

why do you need to compile another APK? smart keyboard has theme capabilities where u put it on the .sdcard as a .zip

Yes, but that only works for .png if u do that with .9.png u mess it up completely. The only thing u could do with .9.png is to let them run through a specific script (read the name somwhere on the net but cant remember) and just change the rgb values. Besides that i never tried it and cant tell if it works, theres still the problem, that u couldnt just make blue outlines on the keys or fade the bg from black to blue.
If u've been able to do that, tell me how, coz i never got .9.png to work without compiling them in an app.

That's why I was so confused on why you guys were trying to modify the skin of the keyboard from the .apk. The actual application supports themes that makes it easier. It's like trying to reskin CM7 when there's a built-in theme manager. Just use the theme manager, it gets the job done easy and quick.
Enjoy.

Is it possible for an update in the future to see if you can change the signal bar to the one in Steel Blue where its wavy, and possibly the rotary lockscreen.
Love it! Only issue I've seen so far is the swype keyboard does not stay open and everytime I go to touch it, it disappears. Anyone else have this problem too? It is themed very cool too by the way.

You are mis informed. The same apks used in a journaling rom are used in a journaling off rom. Journaling has to do with the file system and not the apps that are being themed.
sfr and bonsia have cuq removed. What about the viper rom? That is the issue your most likely having with themes

Looking at the viper rom thread I noticed a couple things wrong and why themes ain't working for you. The viper rom is based on eb13 and everyone else is on ec05.
The boots ron uses the old method of removing carrier iq witch caused certain apps to be resigned. with these apps resigned the signatures are different when they should match. The way of removing carrier iq eliminates this problem by leaving the signatures the same.
Again this has nothing to do with journaling

I dont know about the rotary lock screen. I personaly use the pattern lockscreen, but i plan on making one with a aosp lockscreen. The signal bar i didnt personaly like cause it only has 4 bars so vs the 6 bars so its not as accurate of display. This is my first Swype theme, it is just a clean black theme for now, I will create more as time goes on.
Directions
If you use Beta Swype go to your /data/app folder and grab the com.swype file (not the installer) rename it swype.apk and move it to /system/app
no matter what swype you use, it just needs to be named that exactly, and in your /system/app folder
Load the theme in metamorph, apply all TWICE
Reboot
re make swype your input method.
let me know what yall think.
Added BitOHoney
And only now do I realize why people reserve their second and third post!!!
Thanks for this. Will give it a try in a few and let you know.
Edit: Doesn't seem to work, renamed the apk moved to system/app applied theme x2 then rebooted. I have the option of swype settings but no keyboard to choose in the input menu.
Edit 2: I was able to select swype from the swype installer but not the input menu. Theme is nice!
At some point I will have to post screens, but for now, **** I'll be honest, I am being lazy
anyhow, any colors anyone would specifically like to see (be very specific and use RGB or some other exact color convention, and which items).
Essentially I am making these at work, between other crap, and it takes about 1 minute to make the changes, and 3 or 4 to do the rest, as long as I do not have to think or get creative
I will be making some others once I have time again too.
Not posting screenshots for a theme is... beyond lazy dude lol...

I like the clean black one. However, the pop up menu is very hard to see when you are in word suggestion. The color palette seems really light.
***However***
I'm using an old non-expiring copy of swype from the incredible... so I can't say if that is effecting it. I saw that the new swype beta for the TB had autospace issues. So I loaded up the one from the Inc I had sitting around. Surprisingly... it works just like it did on the Inc. And it even took the theme you posted.
But the word selection panel is basically white on light grey and I can't see anything.
what color are the words in your word choice pallet? In the beta they are black...

White.
With the first word being highlighted light blue.
Like I said, it's probably because I'm not using the TB swype beta. I can send you the apk if you want it to fool with.

Sorry guys, but I've been contacted by Swype and they've asked me to take it down, which I can wholeheartedly respect. This is a pink theme I made today whilst sitting in my boxers not cleaning like I should be.
Thanks to RandomKing for the transparent MMS I implemented.
Also thanks to the makers of Pretty In Pink for alot of the icon files.
I went through 4 alphas and 2 betas, beta 2 appears to be working correctly with everything I wanted implemented.
Tested to work fully on ACS ICS v5 but I have yet to try others. All bug reporting would be appreciated, or tips on anything I should add change remove etc.
