Brightness is still too low on the z1 latest build 150104.

I recently just setup to build AOSP, I want to learn as much as possible as well as contribute to the project. How do I go about this, the contributing part. Do I need to fork the projects on github? Or simply git push from the android build dir? The guide on the Sony website to build AOSP is very detailed and easy to follow, but at the end it just says "Feel free to contribute your work back to our repositories on our Sonyxperiadev GitHub account." without really explaining how to go about that. Dunno how much of noob question this is., but hopefully jerpelea or krabappel2548 or someone might see this.
Tried to install the two latest releases (next L and the one from feb22). Both failed via fastboot.
Came from cm12 and nothing booted afterwards. Just a black screen and short vibration when I pushed the power button.
Used the steps from the original thread. Fastboot Boot, system and then userdata.

Hi, I tried the next version 15/03/05 and I had the same problem of user peddarson. I hope in your future help or a correction of the boot files.
Whats the latest state of art? Is it possible to create a new not working/working list?

Just installed this rom on a D405n. So far it's working very well. Very pleased with it so far.
I'm not a very good tester, but if i find something wrong with it i will make sore to send some feedback.

Root is broken somewhat. Auto brightness doesn't work. Other than that, haven't found any issues yet.

Not sure about the root issue, but the L90 does NOT have auto brightness...

Problem while flashing
After following steps of installation for this rom, after reboot my device get to fastboot mode, cant understand whats the problem here. Im able to flash other roms , but with this cm12 rom im facing this problem.. My current rom is miui v5

FC errors
I followed the flash instructions in main thread (format system,data and cache and flash the zip) and when system boot I have errors in Dialer, Clock, Launcher3, android.process.acore.
Any idea how can I solve this?

I will update to latest stock as soon as i'll find some time.
Especially djb77 was very helpful and it won't be such a mess to upgrade with his work already done.
I got further plans anway, but maybe it's to early to talk out now

Will this rom allow xposed modules?
I am on chroma 5.1.1 now but I would downgrade if I can install exposed modules please let me know if I can install xposed modules on this rom if so I will make a donation to the creator and install
Hey, nice rom and all, just have one small issue with it changing the boot logo and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the stock logo back... Any insight would be appreciated

In the Validus Rom thread, there's a zip you can download and flash to get the stock Google boot logo back.
I flashed 7/27 on android host
And when you press power button it automatically reboots!
And welcome Validus back to Nexus 6
