Hi, today I bought smartwatch Galaxy Gear and I have a problem with brightness after update to Tizen via KIES.
When I have brightness on 6lvl everything is ok When I have brightness lower than 6 i have reverse colors.
Any Ideas?

the watch does not have brightness sensor. They don't know brightness, so it can't be changed automatically
Ok so I have an S8, I successfully enabled Gear VR developer mode which changed the white balance of the screen to warm + blinking whites which from what I saw on the internet is normal because the screen is locked to 60hz when using Gear VR.
I tried several VR movies with this mode on my Fiit VR (cardboard compatible plastic) and I noticed a good enhancement of the image quality, resolution is better, clarity is way better...
So it looks like what is giving Gear VR superior image quality compared to cardboard headsets like Fiit VR and BoboVR Z4 is this mode that trigger a special WB and Hz of the screen, so now should I get anyway an expensive Gear VR 2017 headset (it' still in the 70-80$ for used ones in France) or just get a BoboVR Z4 and use Gear VR developer mode all the way?
Yes I use VR only for VR movies, not games.
BTW I don't know if in 2-3 months I switch back to HTC and swap my S8 with an U 11, at least the BoboVR headset is compatible with all phones while if I get the Gear VR I will have to resell it.
I have a Bobo Vr z4 and it doesn't work well with the S8. It's too thin and it looks like crap in the headset.
Can you help me to run GearVR app and games on my FiitVR?
I have S9+.. And can't start how to get into GearVR world! I have root access already..
Most sites tell that I need a legit GearVR headset to connect to my phone via nfc!

I have my new Note9 on wireless charger in the night. When I get it from the charger and check it the brightness it very high. When I turn automatic brightness off and on then the brightness is decreased to correct value.
Now I created a workaround using Tasker but am I alone with this issue?
I remember that similar issue was on S9 and S8, so is Samsung going to put this bug in each new model?

I have yet to find ANY phone that gets attenuation right.
I've found the Note 9 to do OK when cranking it up for well-lit outdoor use,but,it's a bit too dim on the lower end in the other extreme dark/poorly lit situations.
So,it does seem this bug/feature has continued.
Too bad there's not some some fine-tuning baked-in,say, in dev options, to create your own attenuation from lowest to highest brightness (on all phones).
It worked perfect since I bought the phone in Sept until the latest update in Nov. Now the auto brightness did not auto adjust. Either needed me to toggle the auto brightness to OFF and On again or hit the power button to OFF the display and ON back the display.
I find auto brightness to be a bit to bright in lower lighting conditions.
I came back to samsung note 9 (UK model 128gb 6gb) from oneplus 5T which had great battery optimisation and great auto light adjustment.
Overall the oneplus has better face recognition software (quicker and more accurate and you don't have to look at a very particular distance) the fingerprint (sensor) on the oneplus is also quicker.
Hope samsung resolve the bug.

I am also facing the same problem brother when I unlock my phone using iris scanner the brightness increases and then doesn't drop to required level in low light please notify me when you find a solution.

Face recognition
Brighten screen
Turn it off see if it helps.
(assuming that you are using intelligent scan that could be the issue for the bright at the unlock and taking a bit to go down)
i recently installed lineage os 17 on my s10+ and succesfully connected my galaxy watch 46mm with it but when the screen is off the app just cuts out but the bluetooth is still connected but nothing comes through to my watch (music playing and notifications etc.).
i already set the wearables app to not optimize battery usage but the problem still persists?

Most of the times, after feeling watch vibration, and by the time i roll up long shirt sleeve a bit, notification is already gone from the watch.
