I just have some question. Can we port Android Wear watchfaces on our Galaxy Gear running on Null rom? Cos I think Android Wear watchfaces has an apk that is on our phone so is there a possibility to have this as a widget on our Galaxy Gear? TIA Guys

I have the Samsung S4 Model SGH-1337M - Android version 4.4.2
- Just updated my Samsung Galaxy Gear 1 to Tizen through Samanug Kies with no problem.
- Samsung Gear manager was also updated to version 2.1.14052101.
- The Samsung Apps version is 14041504.21.032.0
A coleague of mine just updated his Galaxy Gear 1 but he owns a Samsung S3 running Android 4.4.2
He is also running the same version of Gear Manager.
Problem Description:
When comparing upgrades, I noticed that he installed new apps on his Gear1 watch that I cannot see on my Gear Manager Samsung Apps.
We compared all software versions and they are all the same.
His Gear Manager showed an additional category that is not on my category list and a lot of apps that I do not see in my list.
For example I do not have the finance group of apps and apps in every sections are missing and not the same.
Please see attached screen shots from both phones.

Has anyone noticed the same behavior. Is there a reason not to see or download apps?
@nkgear the S4 doesn't yet link well with Gear 1 Tizen
If you are rooted change your build.prop in /system/app

Is S3 better linked with Tizen than the S4

Faked my GT-i9502 to a GT-i9300 via build.prob and now I have the new Category Finance in the Gear Manager.
Downloaded my Simple Calculator :laugh:

The same here. I haven't rooted my Galaxy, so have to wait for Samsung to solve this crazy problem?

I got by with the Gear Manager tyzen to work with - Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos (GT9082, c / Android 4.2.2).
However it has some limitations, does not show the notifications of e-mail and not a menu appears on the smartphone of choice.
What should I do?

Is the latest gear manager allowing pedometer sync on the gear 1?
I have an s4 active and was only ever able to sync with the fitness with gear on tizen, i.e. s health lite On android, s health worked fine.
Had to roll back to a 2.1 gear manager to regain pedometer sync, 2.2 was trying to use S Health 2.5, the stock s health on phone

not sure..i have issue after flashing to TizenMod 3.0 on my Note 3 with S5 rom. I've lost pedometer data sync after all that.
Still having issues with an att s4 active and gear 1. Latest gear managers seem to want to use s health, but the s health version is 2.5 on the phone, and only refers to galaxy gear, and doesn't sync.
Fitness with gear also seems to no longer work with the newer gear managers, also history doesn't seem to have added new data for a few weeks, despite purposefully using an old 2.1 gear manager, and observing regular good syncs from the pedometer on gear to the fitness with gear app.
Is the experience better on the s5, or note 4?

Is there any way to get S Health to connect to and android wear device?
Nope... S-Health is only compatible with Samsung trackers and a select few from Adidas, Garmin and Timex.
It's not even compatible with Samsung's Gear Live watch.
hello I have recently installed cyanogenmod on my smartphone therefore I had to install android wear on my gear 2 neo but that doesnt want to play sounds and is missing a lot of features. Also is there a way to get the samsung gear app to work on CM? every time I try I get a error saying my OS is unauthorized.
