Hi Guys
Quite a newbie here.
Wanted to know if I can switch from my current being XT1052_O2-DE_4.4.4_KXA21.12-L1.26 to XT1052_RETAIL-GB_4.4.4_KXA21.12-L1.26 ?
Reason being is I'm thinking the retail will receive the very soon over the air update to lollipop faster and I'm not in Germany at all. In South Africa and over to England a lot.
Everything works so theres no issue. The O2-DE is my current rom loaded with the stock bootloader unlocked and TWRP 2.8.3.0 recovery.
I was planning to unzip the O2-DE and mfastboot flash the stock recovery back to receive OTAs again, but the I saw the RETAIL-GB and wondered if I can, while my stock rom is newly flashed, switch.
Saw the two roms on file factory (can't post URLs)
P.S. I THINK my current rom is the O2-DE one because Elixir tells me "Id: KXA21.12-L1.26" and "Product: ghost_o2de" and obviously "Version: 4.4.4"
Thanks and appreciation in advance.
Just checked and Elixir also says "Version incremental: 18"

Flash N910T with F910F ROM
Hello guys, I need your help. I got as I thought SM-N910F brand new in Russia with 4.4 KK. It worked fine except for being weak to work with 3G. 4G was OK. Russian localization was OK. When I tried to update the ROM, I discovered this device is not 910F but unlocked 910t instead. While experimenting with flash, I damaged efs. Then I restored it with Kies flashing stock ROM. So now I'be got lollipop phone which says "insert T-mobile SIM".
SI my idea is to flash it with some European ROM which support Russian language. Possibly, some 910f mod? Can somebody suggest which ROM to flash? Unfortunately, I didn't backup original ROM.

You cannot flash a N910T phone with a N910F custom or stock twrp flashable zip file rom.
What you need to do now is to find, download and ODIN flash the official firmware which
came with your phone in order to get your phone working properly again.
Sorry about that,
Have a great day!

Thank you, Misterjunky. There is no such a thing as "official firmware" for my phone. Because it was brought to Russia and unlocked unofficially as I can see now. They even changed the phone label on the back side. So they flash some custom firmware, I think so but I have no idea which one.
To put it more clear, what i have now is exactly official firmware. I've got it with Samsung Kies Tools - Firmware upgrade and initialization which downloads the official firmware based on model name and serial number. But unfortunately this is not what I need because it doesn't accept my local SIM
BoBCaTROM by @turilo worked for my device:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...cial-bobcatromn910fton910tw8-v2-0nk5-t2992648
But the problem with 3G persists. Device works with 2G and 4G without problem, but doesn't work with 3G. Any ideas how to adapt modem from 910C to this model?
Hi all,
I have a T710 running 5.0.2 which I have rooted and installed TWRP and realize now that I won't receive the OTA update (if there ever is one) for my device.
My question is about the downloadable firmware on the Sammobile site. There is no 5.1.1 available for my country (UK) but there is a new one (Nov 1st) its country is "Unknown".
Would it be risky to flash this? And if not would it be easy enough to re-root and install TWRP?
I have made a backup in TWRP which I have on my SD card but I'm worried that if I attempt to flash this new firmware and something goes wrong then i might not be able to install the backup if TWRP is wiped.
Thanks in advance.
I've been using the Canadian 5.1.1 for a while on my T710 nordic. Runs great... No problems whatsoever ☺

Of course you can flash your backup, just reinstall twrp.
Ok , cheers guys
A little late to the party, but I flashed 5.1.1_T710XXU1BOH7_T710XAR1BOH7_XAR from the stock collection thread last night on my UK tab S2 T710 (like yours originally 5.0.2 rooted) and thus far it's running fine.
Hi all.
I've been trying to get my Moto X (XT1053, Asia Retail) to stock. I flashed a ROM for the US accidentally, a while ago. Now, I've lost my IMEI (*#06# says 0). Fastboot is still able to display the correct IMEI(3*********). Anyone has the stock ROM that shipped on the Indian version? I tried one but the bootloader won't downgrade.

@Uzayr @Megatron007 guys please help stuck with same issue
Flash the correct factory image for your phone. XT1053 is not asia retail, it's US GSM.
XT1052 is Asia Retail.
I really wanted lollipop at the time so I installed lollipop from Motorola through recovery but it was the one from a different region or part of the world, It didn't install correctly (I wiped phoned before install) so after that happened I tried to install back to my regions (US Retail) stock 4.4.4 Kitkat but now it didn't want to install that either. The only ROM that I can get to install now is Cyanogen and a few other custom ROMs but still no stock by now lollipop has come out for my model and region XT1045 (Moto G 4G LTE Retail) but I cant get that to install either (I have stock image of lollipop).
INFO:
ROM Currently: CyanogenMod
Model: XT1045
Recovery: TWRP
Bootloader: Unlocked
Rooted: yes
Please ask for any other info that will assist you in solving my problem. Thanks in advance!
Edit: Bootloader: Unlocked status code: 3

Hello All
I have unlocked bootloader and rooted my P9, but have recentley seen an OTA come through to turn my current version to B160.
I understand that I need to flash a stock Rom in it's entirety (re-lock BL and lose root) before I can proceed with the OTA?
The issue I have now is that my current build number does not appear to be available anywhere as a stock rom. I am in the UK and with the 'Three' network.
If anyone can point me to the stock ROM for my build or can recommend another stock Rom to flash that will work without issues, I'd very much appreciate it? :good:
