I have problems with the following 3 games:
Puzzles & Dragons - Crashes instantly. Most likely because I am rooted.
Terraria - Crashes instantly. Could be the same thing? Haven't tested yet.
X-COM:EW - Crashes on load or comes with terribly buggy graphics.
Is this the same for anyone else who might have tried these games? Want to know before I spend time troubleshooting it.
check when was the last time they were updated. they could possibly not be ready for lollipop or for not ready for the n6.
I had the same problem.
PAD and our work Email GOOD
I resolved it was related to Super User Access being on.
I used SuperUser from ChainsDD and when the SU app was installed PAD an GOOD would crash if i removed the app everything ran fine.
I have read about some apps having root detection on them in Android 5.01 and issues with it picking up Super User 2.40 So far i haven't been able to find any way to resolve it other than uninstalling SU when i don't need it. Hopefully this points people with more skills then me in the right direction.

Hi everyone
Yesterday rooted my phone using the one click root program on Mac.
Rooting and later on installing Titanium Backup and ROM manager went smoothly. Made backups as well.
However this morning I noticed something peculiar.
Clicking my phone from standby, I saw the browser opened with a site I don't know and not visited before and a pop up if I want to continu with loading the digital/SSL certificate. In the afternoon for a second time again, but this time a known site.
Checked google if such a malware exist on Android. And whether it is possible to set a root password in android. But both questions were not answered positively yet.
Have any one of you seen such a behaviour before?
did you install any illegal software in the phone?
as in those full copies of software not from Android Market?
not that I am aware of.
Most of them were from Android Market.
it is very suspicious that issue popped up after rooting.
I removed all apps that got default root access.
Will report again if issue reappears.
most people visiting this forum have their SGS rooted, and i've not read about this sort of weird issues until now.
myself included.
it'll be good to find out what is causing you to have those random pop ups of websites.
did you install VNC server or something similar by any chance?
That Security warning seems to be Browser bugs.. It pop up on my Nexus one after official Android 2-1 update1 and Android 2.2(Froyo ) update.(OTA).
=> All update are done with files from Google server direct.
Likewise the same happened after updating Galaxy S with the new FW..
Along the way, during update, the digital signature get messed..??
So, bought a nook color yesterday. It came loaded with 1.2, and the first thing I did after registering is root. No custom ROM, but have superruser and official Android Market access. I can even install a few apps. However, there are a few that I expected to see (Kindle, Astro in particular) that dont show up via a specific search for them in the Market. Did I do something wrong? Did I somehow half-root this? Any thoughts would be appreciated!
There are issues with the market after rooting. One of the devs seems to have finally figured it out (apparently it's been quite a ***** to sort out), but he's validating it before publishing it.
Same problem
I have the same problem with the market place. Where will the fix be posted?
After manual rooting Calendar issues
After doing the manual root the one application that seems to be the trouble for me is Calendar. The Google Calendar does not allow to add an account calendar to use. I have tried several other applications with no luck either. One indicates there is a issue synch information.
Then the other minor issue is within the Market has been fun. While in the Market it will decide to either go back a screen, go to the main area of the Market or exit completely out of the Market. That created issue when I was in the middle of downloading an application.
Any suggestions? The Calendar is more important but it would be nice to get both issues resolved.
This worked great for me.

The Calendar issue was resolved with CalenGoo. It is able to synch and update information.
Market is getting better with the steps.
Let the fun begin.

Hey everyone!
Been running Skrillax's latest Jellybean 4.1 Rom and very impressed at how smooth it runs, along with the fact that it runs at all! So kudos to all the devs here whove made my device run for so long!
I've been trying to install some non google market apps but, cant for the life of me find it in settings! When clicking the prompt to enable it in settings, I get a 'settings force close' error.
Anyone know any alternative ways of turning thos on?
Experienced android user here. been creeping this site for a while but never really posted.
So, I believe I have done my due diligence and have discovered that XF is causing several apps and system apps to crash. After un-install of XF the apps all work flawless. The same issue occurs when modules are disabled yet XF is running. The apps that are affected are 500px, Grand St, Instagram (intermittently), Flipboard and stock Gallery app. I am running Galaxy S3 4.4.2 and am rooted. I noticed this around the summer of 2014 give or take a month or two. I have had a replacement phone sent from my carrier and issues still exist. I have tried to downgrade the framework however I can't seem to do so( XF will ask to upgrade). Perhaps v2.71 will fix this? Who knows
what is the question?
Hey Dan, well I thought I would put this issue out there since the support page for XF states that if there are issues it should be put forth to the public. I suppose my question is if there are others experiencing similar issues and might there be a resolution out there.

I'd suggest you grab a logcat (if you don't know how to do that, there are many tutorials around; you can do it using the CatLog app if your device is rooted) as soon as an app force closes, so that you can verify Xposed is causing the crashes (it might just be a coincidence).
Hi and thank you for your response. I have uninstalled each module from XF which are not many and the apps continue to force close. I delete XF and the apps that are work perfectly. I am also on a stable version of XF and have tried to downgrade to a previous version when my apps were not being force closed however XF does not allow this. Just putting this info out there that perhaps the developer(s) might resolve the issue.
Can you post a logcat after one of the apps force close?
NEW ? Spam/Malware com.dti.blu aka Mobile Services
although... while MalwareBytes doesn't considered unwanted notifications malware...
they call them PUPs Potential Unwanted Programs..
But I call them Malware.
It looks like.. on Nov 8th app-blu-release.apk was downloaded and installed
Not sure what it is/was.
Today.. I got a notification for something like this "Blu wants you to come enjoy games..."
long press the notification.
"Mobile Services" com.dti.blu Updated October 27th.
searching the internet.... I didn't find anything of importance..
I don't want to delete it immediately at this time.. not exactly knowing what it is or does..
other than the Spam/Malware intrusion.
I did force stop it.
So.. if anybody has any info on the apk.. please chime in.
It might be very similar to the situation in the thread below which can be resolved once I know what the APK is...
The thread below.. titled "Android Tools" stock app ? I keep getting push notifications..."
https://forum.xda-developers.com/vivo-xl/help/android-tools-stock-app-getting-push-t3752075
thanks group..
Got an unauthorized download of Gamehub or similar last week and deleted it. Got the same notification about being invited to play games today. Uninstalled Mobile Services updates and then disabled it. No problems so far. This appears to be more crap from Blu masquerading as Google mobile services. It's not a Google app.
I finally fought off the auto downloads and constant notifications resulting from last November's Marshmallow upgrade around March or so. Now it's starting up again. Is November Blu's f with our customers month?
This " com.dti.blu " is definitely a malware it keep installing random games such as Candy Crush Saga, FarmVille 2: Country Escape , Move the Block : Slide Puzzle ... etc
i try uninstalling it with
Code:
adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.dti.blu
everything works well but upon looking on apps list it is just disable but it's file size keep getting bigger in real time like it downloading itself again
This is the last time im buying BLU phone
I have a BLU V5 (box says V5, reports G5 in the phone). I'm not getting any unwanted ads or downloads, but It has been slow since the day I got it, and lots of RAM used up even when I'm not doing anything and Android doesn't report what's using it.
Last night, I decided to adb it and found com.bluproducts.activationapp and com.digitalturbine.blubar. I couldn't find anything online on com.bluproducts.activation app, but com.digitalturbine.blubar was definitely an ad service, so I uninstalled from adb. Instant speed improvement.
This morning, I noticed it was slow again, when I used adb, I found a new package that wasn't there before, com.dti.blu. So I uninstalled that, and as soon as I did, com.digitalturbine.blubar re-appeared. I uninstalled that and now I decided to also uninstall com.bluproducts.activationapp. I don't know what's causing these to reinstall. I'll see if it's back tomorrow. Anyone know for sure how to keep these packages from re-installing?
