there is recompilefile.exe file in folder named 1-BDFreak. if its not there that means antivirus has deleted or quarantined that file somewhere as its a threat to PC.

ok how do you put a app on ur phone when you download it from the web n u only get a zip file..thz
some of them either have the .apk extension changed to .zip, for those just change .zip to .apk
others are in the .zip file and have to be extracted.
the OP will usually say which of these have to be done. or you can just open the .zip file and look. if it has the .apk inside of the .zip file then extract.
if it has a bunch of folders then rename .zip to .apk

Hey guys! So I successfully managed to root my Galaxy S Advance running stock 4.1.2 Jellybean (Italian firmware I9070XXLQL) and installed SuperSU and TitaniumBackup. I was uninstalling unnecessary bloatware using a couple of lists made by other forum members. One of the apps I deleted was called MTP Application 1.0 (I think?) because it is only required for connecting to a computer via Kies and I don't use that anymore (Android File Transfer all the way!) But now my phone does not get recognised by AFT at all. Unfortunately I'm a klutz and forgot to make a backup of the application before deleting so now it cannot be recovered. Can someone possibly provide me with the APK? It is a system application and I have granted root access to ES File Explorer. Just need the application itself. Thanks!
Edit: I've already searched online and can't find the APK anywhere on the Internet.
Here you go. I attached the file. I use xxlql deodexed and pulled this from the preload partition. I think you must put this apk in the app folder on preload partition and give it permissions. Good Luck.

Hey thanks! I downloaded the APK, moved it to the appropriate folder and changed the permissions. Now my phone is getting recognised by AFT. Thanks once again for the speedy response!

Hi. Can you give instructions on how to install the APK? Like which folder to put it in and how to give permission?
Thanks so much!

You must be rooted. Once you are done rooting your device you must install root explorer or es file explorer. Then grant root permissions to that app. Now move the apk file to preload/app folder in root of the device. Then choose properties of the apk file and set permissions. You can youtube the procedure. Good luck.

yea i did but the same :|
well,
I am sure you can restore the backup you made before flashing something new..
In the mean time, which FW of the SemCamerisUI do you need, you can always download a FTF and extract it from that..by now you will have had it...

If you're looking for that APK, try downloading [NUT]'s .108 flashable zip file from here. In this zip file there is a file called "system.tgz", extract it, then in "system.tgz" there is a file called "system.tar". Extract the "system.tar" file and you'll see the folder structure of your "/system" partition, including the "priv-app" folder which contains the APK you're looking for. Bare in mind that this APK is odexed, so you'll have to copy the .odex file as well.
If you need the de-odexed version of said APK, download the de-odex package instead and grab the APK from there.
thanks guys , fixed
I'm trying to make a simple Magisk Module to replace a single file in /statem but I can't make the module valid. When I download the template and zip it up MagiskManger won't recognize it. The root of the zip file has the various files, the files are not in there own directory.
The uploaded zip is the packed template repo.
What program are you using to make the zip? Try a different one... On Windows I've used 7zip. Usually, when making simple modules, I do it directly on my phone and then I use FX File Explorer.

I used Astro, I would assume they would both use the same code for that. Isn't creating a zip a STD library feature?
I used that and it worked, just need to figure out why my boot animation didn't seem to change.
