2 days ago, i got my New phone. A thl 5000. Since then i tried to Connect my gear 2 neo to it.
It wont work. I tried with to pair with the gearmanager. It load and load but wont connect.
The thl 5000 has Android 4.4.2 and Bluetooth 4.0. Why do it not work.
Before the thl 5000, i had the HTC one x.
The gear 2 worked great with it. ( i used a Rom to get Android 4.4)

I have the same problem with my phone using mtk6592 chip android 4.4.2. I also tried to connect gear neo to my wife's phone Oppo R1 with mtk chip but no luck. The problem here is gear neo can not connect to devices using mtk chip. I did a search and lot of people have the same issue with china phone. Any one can help to solve this??? Thanks a ton!
Same here, doesn't pair with Microsoft Band nor Zenwatch 2..
BLE BT 4 pairing with heart rate sensor works.

I tried with Note 3 and S4 but Galaxy Gear cannot connect to 2 phones at the same time, only one.
And when you are switching phones, the Gear does a factory reset to itself before connecting the "new" phone.

This really annoys me, it's like an Apple sync device. I wish it didn't do that.
How about between a note 3 and the note 10.1? Actually u guess the tab would have to be on 4.3 anyways right?

I have been trying to pair my gear 2 with my newly arrived OnePlus One, already made root to the phone and tried to instal the app manually but still it doesnt work.
Is there any tutorial or a way to get it to pair ?

I bought a Gear 2 Neo today to use with Endomondo. I've got the phone paired ok with my S4 Mini, installed the gear app and I've downloaded a couple of new clock faces etc. so all seems to be working fine there. But, I can't find the Endomondo companion app on the Gear store. I've tried a few different searches but so far nothing...
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Great; Endomondo hyping their app on Gear 2 and confirm the S4 Mini is compatible, but it looks like I'll have to wait. Annoying seeing that the fact it 'works' with Endomondo (an app I've used for years) was the reason I bought the smartwatch in the first place...
Hello guys i am looking to buy the gear 2 neo for my Xperia z1, yes i know it wont be able to connect to non Samsung devices except after some modding, i want the gear 2 neo because it is the only watch that have an ir blaster which i need so much, i just want to know, is anyone porting Android wear to the gear 2 neo? Anf if i flashed the null rom will all Samsung galaxy gear features work fine with my stock rooted Xperia z1 lollipop? Is there any othrer watch running Android wear have an ir blaster? And does the gear have a wifi connection?
Please help me asap
The other rom you commented on will work. Neo and gear 2 are same minus camera. But its in development. So not 100% so only time will tell

As many people do, I am also having problem with calls being picked up with my Gear S3 instead of my phone or the headset. That was not the case just a couple of weeks ago, when I was still using S8+. I wonder, does Gear S4 have similar problem? Anyone knows? I'd be very sad to get one, realize it won't work with my 11T Pro as its predecessor wouldn't. I've been walking around getting one (Gear S4) for a while now, but if it won't work with my Xiaomi as it would with Samsung, I'll pass and get some Fossil instead. I can't seem to find any info on the matter for the SGS4. Does anyone here, by any chance, use such combo?
