Cool man My .gifs files hasn't got a good quality ^^ now I can download your officials .zips
Request 2560x1440p resolution
just go the file and realised I can make for other dpi's.
If permission is granted, I could make them soon and post them here.
Looks great, would be very interested in a version that is compatible with the CM theme engine.

On its way! Pretty large size tho!
I used the 1080 and is too big in screen. I like a little more discrete and small animation. Ill try 720...
Edit. Links are full traffic... We need more links.
Thanks in advance
Awesome!
City look pretty nice on my One in 1080p, Thanks

After lots of hours (I accept donations) I did all the frames lost of the android L bootanimation, so now it goes at 60fps (it used to go at 30fps). The change is huge.
You have to install the zip with a free app like Boot Animations in the Play Store. Don't use recovery!
bootanimation.zip original 30fps (Thanks Google)

How to change bootanimation on CM11 aside from theme chooser? I've tried copy the zip to the /system/media/ but it failed to copy to that directory. I'm using root explorer and r/w is enabled. I also tried the Boot Animation app from the playstore but it also failed to install.
Edit : solved by reinstalling root explorer. Thx.

If you can do it I will really appreciate
works well on OnePlus with cm12 unofficial.

Tested 720p with 4.3 Galaxy Nexus and it runs, but every 1-2 seconds it get stuck for 3-4 seconds and then continues to run. Do you think it's just "incompatibility" or 60fps are too many for my device?

Just place the bootanimation.zip in /system/media give it rw-r-r(644) permissions and reboot, very easy it takes less than 10seconds to do this and if you want to keep your original animation just rename it to bootanimation.zip.bak before importing the new one to avoid over writing the original file, or save a copy of it else where on your /sdcard or Pc.
awesome job
Beautiful dude!
Doesn't work i have root. placed bootanimation.zip overwrite (rw r r). but just a black screen also tried with rom toolbox pro doesn't even preview. Cm minimal worked just fined.

Umm, just saying, but you dont need an Unlocked Bootloader for this one, I've had to create my own custom Animation, and to test it I changed out the .zips,so as an example, I am on locked bootloader, yet it still worked. No need to worry others

Is this applicable to oxygen OS only? I am using exodus with AK kernel and did the same steps as suggested by you but unable to see boot animation?
No unlocked bootloader needed, but very nice work.
---------- Post added at 11:03 ---------- Previous post was at 10:52 ----------
Simpler way to install:
1) Get the android app: bootanimation
2) Download selected version (don't need to rename it).
3) Open bootanimation and select local and then the animation file to use, then hit install.
4) Grant SU access, then reboot.
fantastic.
do you think you can make a version that can be used inside cyanogen theme manager?

Hi,
I just tried myself on a custom bootanimation in a minimalistic Andorid L style.
This bootanimation is for 1080 x 1920 resolutions.
If u want to have this animation for another resolution just comment or write a private message.
Download
If you want to use this bootanimation:
1. You need a rooted device if u want to change your bootanimation
2. Copy the .zip file on your SD card/ internal storage
3. on your phone: use a the root explorer, CM File Browser or any other file browser with root access to perform this action
4. copy the .zip file into the system/media folder
5. give the permissons
5. Reboot your phone and everything should be fine
IT DOES NOT HURT YOU, TO PRESS THE THANKS BUTTON. PRESS IT AND YOU WILL HELP ME TO KEEP UP THE WORK. Thanks.
I am not responsible for your devices.
Please do some research if you have any concerns. YOU are choosing to make these modifications,
and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device,
I will laugh at you. Hard. A lot.
Thanks to:
@FaserF
Thanks.
@ChariZardKs Congratulations on the feature. Great work btw! Looks good!

As this is the phone Google should have released as the Nexus 6, this boot animation is quite appropriate.
