I know this has been an issue on other phones too but I haven't been able to find a solution to get the NFL Mobile app to work. When you log in it says services temporally unavailable. It does this under both liberty and r3blurr3d, but works under stock rooted.
Anyone know if a fix?

Im not having any problems on 1.8. You have to sign into my verizon mobile, it will give you the same error message. It took me 4 tries and finally got signed in and nfl mobile works
Do you mean the app our the mobile website?

I tried logging in to the mobile app like thirty times with different combinations but couldn't get in...on wifi, on 3g, with username, with phone number....I wonder why mine is being such a pain.

Ack! Did you try one of the cheesecake updates or something?
Oddly enough i found a quick mention in a forum for a different phone and got it to work.....you know what the trick was?! Log in with the phone in landscape mode! I can't believe that worked on the first try.....Let me know about your phone issue, i will offer some help if i can.
What is this about?
The Nexus 4 launched without WiFi Calling support for T-Mobile USA customers. I'm starting this bounty to encourage people to port this feature to the Nexus 4. It has been done in the past, and there are even claims that the N4 was being tested with WiFi Calling support before launch.
For more read this: http://t-mobile-coverage.t-mobile.com/4g-wireless-broadband-service?uid=Coverage_3
Why should you care about this?
WiFi Calling will give all T-Mobile USA customers who use the Nexus 4 the ability to use their T-Mobile phone number to make/receive calls and text messages over an active WiFi network. As well, post-paid T-Mobile customers could avoid using their minutes, if they are on a limited or pooling plan, while using WiFi Calling. Customers need to ensure they have the "Free WiFi Calling" SOC attached to their line and a valid 911 address on file. The 911 address requirement also applies to pre-paid T-Mobile USA customers.
How can you help?
Simply reply to this thread showing your support to have this awesome feature ported to the Nexus 4. Optionally, you can let us know how much you personally would be willing to put up to see T-Mobile WiFi Calling come to the Nexus 4. Personally, I am staking $50 for this feature; however, you can stake any amount you wish, or absolutely none at all. You being here and reading this is good enough for me. But if it is at all possible, please at least reply to this thread. The more exposure it gets, the better our chances our of getting it accomplished!
Presently, the bounty is valued at $1400. The value of the bounty changes frequently as more people enlist their support towards the completion of this project. So, please consider helping out the entire community by showing your support in this thread. Even if it doesn't affect you at all, there is a vast amount of people looking forward to using this feature as soon as possible.
Thank you!
- Korey N.
I don't yet have one. I would be willing to pay for it (around $20) though if I get one. The thing making me doubt getting it is the OTG issues. Might get one anyway.
I'd toss in $10 (not the richest guy) because I get don't service in my house.
T-Mobile isn't too terrible here where I live, but not having WiFi Calling is a disappointment when you trace to places without coverage
Bounty
WiFi Calling would be great :-/
$10
Guys, my suggestion is to use Vonage. Uses your number and doesn't use minutes from existing T-Mobile plan. Works over WiFi and 4G/3G
If you don't mind having another number, there's always Google Voice and VOIP.

Back when I had T-Mobile, developers got Wi-Fi Calling working on the Nexus One and I think I had it on my Nexus S but root access was required because the kernel had to be modified. Don't know if getting it enabled without root would be possible.

But why pay for something like Vonage if I could keep my number and have reliable service via WiFi for free with WiFi-Calling? (Free with my current plan)

Dang, common misconception
Vonage Mobile is a free app that uses your current number and calls out via 3G/4G or WiFi.
All free

I looked at it.... it says its only free if the other person also has the vonage app. You have to buy minutes for regular calls

I made a call to my dad who doesn't have the Vonage app... it worked...
And I used it on an unactivated phone
Just checked the app info... yeah idk why it says they need the Vonage app, maybe they mean for picture messaging and texts?
Also Vonage has 3000 minutes a month, so maybe if you get more friends the 3000 minutes will be raised for free?
Probably just an issue with wording...

My only question about Vonage's is when they call you will it go thru wifi! The only reason I want WiFi calling is because I get no reception in my house
I put up $10 for this bounty.

In your case, Vonage wouldn't be a solution because you can't receive calls with it.
See, a normal fix to this would be to reject the call then call them back with Vonage, but if you don't get service you won't even get the call.

I purchased my gs5 at full retail... I'm also an elite best buy customer which should mean I get 30 days on returns.
I would like to take it back and exchange it for the T-Mobile version.
Does anyone know for sure that I can do this?
I've been reading reports saying others have been successful unlocking the T-Mobile variant and having it work on all bands of the AT&T network.
I'm just curious if the elite best buy customers on XDA has ever done an exchange past 15 days.

Pretty sure the sprint rep meant Nov.15 for sprint
Maybe they will take pre orders on the 12th. Maybe that's where thatcrumor came from. It just doesnt make sense that google play store pre orders aren't here until around the 21st.

Sprint launches phones on Saturdays?
Store reps are some cheaply paid people. What can they know about corporate stuff.

True. Maybe he doesn't want it to busy on the 12th. Lol

It is also possible that the rep knows when they are getting shipment. Not all of the T-Mobile stores are getting stock on the 12th. Some may get it in the evening. Some may get it day(s) later. Even with some of the recent launches, like the Note 4 some stores didn't have stock in the morning they got their shipment that evening.

coming from someone who works in merchandising... I would be amazed if corporate even knew what corporate was doing. Lol

That was my first thought. He just sounded confident it was LAUNCHING the 18th. It's not the biggest T-Mobile store. But its a newer one. I'm still shooting for Wednesday. My phone case will be here tomorrow. Google may be telling them when they go on sale. So they may have no idea. But chances are. They will try to sell me a Samsung when I walk in.

There is a user around here that posted a spreadsheet stating which stores will be getting it in or not, here . How true the data will be come Wednesday, don't know. But it seems legit enough.
I read a few articles this weekend that said T-mobile and other carriers will have extremely limited supply. So it will be like the play store and sell out in minutes I bet. So unless your in front of your computer hitting refresh the whole day I doubt you will get one. Its just like the Nexus 4 and 5 launch. It was several months after release that anyone could actually get one in a normal way.
Another local store said they might be getting them in this Wednesday. He will know tomorrow. That store was not on the list linked above. So we will see.

Hey guys i had to gwt my hands onecone. Im a verizon customer and i couldnt wait tovget lucky for an unlocked one . Is it possible for me to get this thing to work . i dont have a nano yet. Trying to get a friend of mine from a verizon store to help me out there. If thays the case, will the nano sim card work for me or no ? Im on wifi and i love this thing !!!!!
You need to unlock the phone. It is SIM-locked to AT&T
To get it unlocked through at&t I need an account number and all that. I'm a Verizon customer so I don't have that information. I just bought the phone retail at an att. I heard you can unlock through 3rd party. Are there any recommended sites?

If you're a Vzw customer, get a Vzw nano Sim.
I'm battling the same thing. I'm a Verizon customer and bought the phone outright through AT&T on a friends account. Went to cellunlocker.net and waiting for them to go through another database for an unlock code
Just got word from art that December 4 they will loosen the requirements to getting it unlocked for free. Which may help us

Right now I have no data, but I have voice and text. Every hour or so I will get a message asking for my sim lock pin, which I don't have

I was able to get mine sim unlocked and it's working perfectly on Verizon without any issues.
Through that online unlock website ? How much though . supposedly about to be free through att.. NP issues at all though? Lol that's tempting ...
