Hello. My Sprint HTC One has always been an M7wls or (spr), and after a CM12 update, it now says it is an M7. I would like to proceed with caution, is it okay to install an M7 (no carrier) rom now? Thanks!

AFAIK, Sprint phones have different mount points than others so I'd advise against it.

Sorry, I have been searching for this for an hour straight and I can't find this info anywhere. I keep getting info about how to convert a att, tmo, spr m7 to GPE..
I already did a GPE conversion once with the revone s-off and the RUU, but thats another story
What I want to know is:
Are google play edition HTC Ones m7 or m7ul? And can I just install, for example, an m7att recovery on it and install roms which are for m7att?
Reason why I ask is I am planning on getting one for the unlocked bootloader, but I perfer if I dont have to s-off it for any reason. and I want to run slimbean which has builds for m7_ul, tmo, and att.
Boys wanted to know if the last kitkat update for the Sprint was the 4.4.2 M7, because I do not make it.
Also if you do not mind that to upgrade to Lollipop?
There is a new RUU available for the Sprint M7 that will upgrade the phone to Lollipop.
Ok so, I just unlocked the bootloader and rooted my HTC one M7 GPE (original, not converted). It's still S-ON but I think I can still flash roms right? I want to get the ARHD rom but I don't know if it's only for standard M7s or if it will work with my GPE M7...
Thanks in advance
Im trying to download TWRP for HTC One M7 so I can root it. But when I click on Europ on their site, I just get to a site that wont load, anybody else having this problem?
TWRP for HTC One M7: https://twrp.me/devices/htconem7gsm.html
Site that wont load: https://eu.dl.twrp.me/m7
Use this one, thats for all m7 variants and working with both Firmware versions sense and gpe. https://dl.twrp.me/m7univ/
Can I flash stock M8 ROM on M7 device? If yes, can I use one from official HTC site?
You cannot flash a stock M8 rom on an HTC One M7. You can try, but the result will likely be a softbrick, or even worse if you're S-OFF.
don't do it. You'll brick your phone. M8 uses different hardware than M7 and the Kernel will be looking for that.
