thanks for suggestion but I'm not a dev here in xda, just a mad tester and an "Android technician" , I don't have enough knowledges about what you need.

I'm even thinking note 2 won't get it. The last for them was 4.4.2, the last for I9305 for 4.4.4.
I maybe wrong with this theory, but I'm thinking if the Note 2 didn't get 4.4.4 there's no chance of a 5.0.x

with samsung nothing is sure...
i9305 hadnt 4.4.2 but has 4.4.4
maybe note 2 hasnt 4.4.4 and will get 5.0.x
also, in Sammobile there was an article on s3 will get LL
however, these are all theories...we cant do anything but wait

I didn't think of that with I9305 not having 4.4.2.
The article on Sammobile could be interesting, as from memory this is where we all first learned that I9305 would be getting the 4.4 update.
If this is the case, it's just better off waiting I think. Personally for me I don't use the S3 as my main phone anymore as I upgraded to the S5, but I do have my old S3 still (and also my partner's S3 so I have both new and old bootladers to play with)

I saw weeks ago a post in sammobile sayin that s4 and n2 will get lp
The N2 didn't receive KK, N2 4G did.
The S3 didn't receive KK, S3 4G did.
There's still hope...

If didnt know how many rom ports from the note 4 s5 s4 note 2 to the s3 u would be suprised they even faster than stock s3 roms u no nothing in xda I can see it clearly

Sooo.. I got My galaxy note (by surprise.. (Long story)) Before releasing The galaxy note II within a month.......
And after i saw These awesome futures.. i began wondering.. can i get these futures on my GT-N7000? Or will there be a firmware update for the note I That is similar to the note II firmware? Or at least can i get the split-screen multi-tasking future only??? Or is there a way to install onskreen cornerstone on note 1? I really need this future.. :c

Are you kidding me? Why would you think you could get Note 2 firmwares on the Note? They are two totally separate devices. Different things MAY be ported but you won't get official updates or anything. Samsung also still supports the Note and will release Jellybean soon (hopefully) for it.

That's a Touchwizz feature by Samsung, so it's possible they'll include it for note 1 in jb.

If u ve not updated to latest ota or firmware update do it.
Ics 4.0.4 latest build has.
Touchwiz 5 of s3.
And gallery of note 2.
Direct call on hold to ears of s3.
And many more features n in jellybean still more to come.
And good news is tat today in korea some s3 n note1 phones ve recieved ota
May be within 10 to 15days all international versions would be recieving updates.
Till then i suggest u don mess with yr phone.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I have updated My phone to 4.0.3 . And no new updates found each time I check. Maybe they didn't release new updates where I live.

are u sure that the Note N7000 has got the OTA for JB in korea.. as far as i could see its ... as below.
Samsung start Galaxy S III Jelly Bean updates in Korea
SIII international is till on the wait for JB release.. so note N7K is a lill long wait not 15-20 days

u can download 4.0.4 for any region u like from sammobile.com of post of [email protected] forums and install it via odin. provided ur phne is a network unlocked device and wont lock again

The best rom is the original rom You can root your s3 mini, and change how you want

The 'best rom' is down to what you want...I use Benz Rom personally as it offers the best of what I want. All Roms are different, best thing to do is flash a few until you find the one you're happy to use.

There is no general answer.
Every custom has it´s advantages.
Make a Nandroid Backup, download several Custom ROMs and test them.
You will see which one is the best for you.

Thanks for the help, hopefully not damaging the cell with the CM10, I already installed the Cm9 on a phone before, but always the fear. I'll have to wait for my phone and get to know which model it (perhaps the L).

the CM10 works on any model but you would lose the baseband L model has and NFC is its the N model

Yes, you can install CM10.1 in any S3 Mini model but you would lose the extras L and N model has
No, you don't have to root before installing CM10.1, it comes pre-rooted

You would have to root it at least once to install custom recovery to install it

From what I read, it doesn't work anymore. However, if you have TWRP installed (If not you can use Odin to put it back on), you can use Magisk to successfully root.

That's weird. it should install without any issues. I installed it like a normal apk on my friend's S5 neo (SM-G903W)

Use zapryanov custom rom it works on european version

Well, it's maybe not a problem since Nougat seems not to be that battery friendly.
Currently i'm running alexndr v4.3 DQH8 (newest Marshmallow DQJ1 has battery drain)
and i'm very happy with it.
