I have Darky 10.2, before 10 RE something and its the same. Player is randomly freezing all the time. If I install differend player (like winamp) its the same... Any sugestions?
is this while using headphones? if so, the problem is a loose connection with the headphones -- I tried several different payers thinking it was software related only to find out it is a physical connection issue with the headphones plug
Just tried: its the same on "speaker"... 2-3songs and its freezes :/
Edit: listening to radio is working just fine...
I've encountered the same problem with my i9000 sgs.
I've both with and without headphones.
What happens is my sgs will go into sleep mode then shortly after it will hang and I'd have to restart. However, if i keep the phone on, there are no issues. I initially thought it was a problem with SetCPU. I uninstalled it but the problem still persisted.
I'm running speedmod k15i t13 on 2.3.3 GB, base version XJV9.
Also, i do experience a problem where the alarm clock function of the clock regularly does not sound at all. I've read that it is because i cleaered my RAM after setting it to go off, is that true? (Sorry for thread jacking just wanted to know whether it is related)
Bought Galaxy Note. Working without problems^^
Recently I flashed AOSP which was been leaked on Chinese Forums.
I had flashed the latest version of it i.e. xx.xx.18.
It was smooth , no random reboots , no sensor issues nothing.
But yesterday I found that sometimes during call I can not hear any type of voice from the speaker and also the person at other end cannot listen me.
This was strange.
But when I did reboot it solved the problem.
this problem comes at anytime.
To fix it I must reboot . And that's very very tedious.
Are any solutions available for it? Is it only me that facing such issue ?

Though this is not a permanent solution, but a quicker way around is to install xposed installer and try to soft reboot everytime you face it to get done with it quicker. Try reporting the bug to the dev and check the forum thread for any other solutions.
Press thanks if I helped
I have a very strange problem with my phone. Since i updated to Android L 5.0.2 ( today ) on my Xperia Z3 Compact the smart call handling feature stopped working. I tried turning it off and on a few times, i tried rebooting the device a few times still no luck. Does anybody have any idea why and how to fix this issue ? I can't find anything related to this problem...
The phone is complete stock. The bootloader is locked. I've never unlocked it. I used to have PhilZ custom recovery on KitKat and now i obviously don't (same goes for root) .
p.s. I must say Sony has done some great work on Android L. I can't understand why people complain so much about it on the forum. I like it better than KitKat.
The Solution
I found a fix.
What i did was :
1. Turn off the feature ( from Settings )
2. Restart the phone
3. Turn on the feature.
4.Restart the phone again.
Oh and I found 1 con of Android L. The battery usage is a bid dull. On Kitkat it showed the number off days passed after charging. Now it shows a graph with dates, so i guess you have to count the days by yourself which isn't that easy as it sounds and personaly i think it's a stupid idea.
Hi there !
I have created this topic because the problem mentioned in the title is getting me mad !
I am under CM12.1 (Lollipop 5.1.1) 21-09-2015 nightly build, and I always experimented this problem : when I plug in my headset (JVC), Google Voice Search keeps randomly popping up, at any screen. Everytime. Forever. Of course, music stop playing.
I thought throwing a brick on my phone would make it work again, but no. Just kidding
It is not the headset's fault, because I have tried it on other phone under CM12.1, and it was OK.
The only "workaround" I found is to deactivate the Google app, and to remove the search bar of the main screens. But it sometime happens despite that, and I would like to use this functionality.
Seems that the phone keeps thinking that I push a button on my headset, but it does not have any !
What do you guys think ?
Other problem certainly unrelated :
- On this build and later, the back (only !) camera is really, like really, laggy, quite unusable, both in photo and video. Happens in all apps handling camera : CM camera app, snapchat, etc.
I precise all of these problems do not occur under stock Sony ROM, and that all the solutions I found online were not helpful.

Since you did a dirty flash (OTA update), the first thing I would do is back up everything you care about, wipe, and clean flash the firmware. This will probably fix the camera issue.
It may also fix the headset issue, but I think it may be related to the physical headphone jack. You tried the same headset on a different phone (was it also running CM12.1?) and didn't repro the issue, so that just leaves your specific. This doesn't sound like a software issue, but since you should wipe to fix the camera issue, maybe you'll get lucky.
Thanks for your answer xasbo.
Sorry for the latence of my answer, I switched back to CM11, because all is working perfectly in this ROM (latest SNAPSHOT).
I did not make a dirty flash of CM12.1, it was a perfectly clean install, but the problems were always there. Apparently it seems to be related to CM12.1, because the stock Lollipop ROM for Xperia Z1 doesn't have those issues : only with CM12.1 (and CM12 as well).
I do not understand why this is happening, but it is making the phone unusable for music, camera, and even 9gag (lol).
I was not able to test my headset on another CM12.1 ROM because none of my related or friends have a custom ROM (arghh), I only managed to test it on other android phones under Lollipop, but only stock ROMs (Samsung S4, and Wiko Idontrememberthemodel).
Is there somebody who has the same issues with CM12.1 ?
I've read some other stuff since related to CM12 on these phones. Look for a CM thread in either General or Q&A. There is talk of both camera lag and a "headphone fix". Maybe these are what you need.
As the title said, youtube and other apps except walkman are not affected by sound settings. Is seriously awfull that i dont have the same beautifull bass and sound that I have on music app, mr. google doesen't help me in this point. About to mention that i don't try any mod because i can't access the recovery mod yet. The question is: exist a method to make sound settings work with any other apps except music player? I was downgraded to 4.4 to have this setting work but i was missing the lollipop and because i'm realy stubborn i still thing is a solution. Can you help me out with this, please?! I realy want to trow out my phone to the window for losing an entire day for unlocking the bt and rooting for nothing. (sorry for my english btw )
Well, after a lot of searching for solutions for this problem, i decide to GIVE UP. I will try to say a short story. I tryed to install this mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/development/mod-z1-lollipop-viper4android-sound-t3092932 but i do a little mistake, I thing i install a cwm for 4.3 (the treath where i find it was realy old) and the phone was staying in bootloop. Because of my short knowledge, I was installing cm11 whit fastboot to recover my phone and after i install 4.3. Anyway, after all of this i give up installing a mod (since the mods will not solve the problem, they only make more better sound or settings) I tryed to make the sound more louder by modify mixer_paths.xml folder (the native sound of apps is preaty good after all but haves a realy low volume). After modifying the folder, guess what? I REMAINING WITH NO SOUND AT ALL! I don't understand if i do something wrong or not when i do this work, but since other people doesen't have a problem with this and is a setting for every 5.x phone mayby i did. Anyway, i solve this problem by flashing other firmware (i thing i was brick sound settings servicre that time), now I am on 4.4 and THAT'S IT. An entire week waste for nothing. Of corse after a little research guess the problem is from Google not from Sony. I must admit 5.1 have better sound than 4.4 (only set the virtual headphones sth-## can't remember the name, little highs presets and studio on virtual surround, or just activate clear audio+ whit the headphones is necesary, but if getting boored of kitkat, i will just update to lollipop and suffer the concecuences. Even so, you can close this thread after all, I'm seek of all this week lost for nothing.
