Hey guys, I was wondering is there websites that sells the Tab S 8.4 Back Battery Door Cover. Apparently, I purchase the tablet without it, because the seller's kids lost it. Also, can the Tab Pro 8.4's back cover work with the Tab S 8.4's?
Anyone knows a back cover, or flip cover that attach to the back of the tablet, without just attaching on top of your regular back battery door cover?
Thanks for any replys

That cover is a nightmare to remove, they probably broke all the clips and trashed it in their ignorance. The seller's kids are brutal if they really did that. Check the tab over carefully for more hidden damage.

Thats what I thought too. Why would they remove the back cover?
Anyway I cant think of any places that sell back covers. But i think samsung could get you and fix it for you.

The Tab Pro 8.4 back cover will not fit. My kids have the Tab Pro and it's physically larger that the Tab S.

I found these today on eBay and bought 2 of them, one WHITE, one GREY. They are the CHEAPEST I can find online at the moment.
I decided to get the grey because I sound a grey note 2 today and it looked quite awesome. I got the white one so I can have one as a back up.

No worries....I bought them because they are CHEAP almost HALF price than other original battery covers....and other cheap ones don't have nfc.

Thank you!
Do you like them so far?
Let us know how the covers fit when you get them! My original back cover is not snapping all the way in below volume rocker, if I press hard the back cover with the phone on the table I can get the clip hold for sometime, but even the slightest bump to the phone releases the snap from it's home.
The cover leaves a small gap in there which creaks a bit when I hold to phone from that position. I doubt that the operator store has spare ons lying around , but mayby I could try to have a flip-case for free for the semi defect back cover.

Yup let us know
Wondering if it's actual genuine cover...
Well I decided to go ahead and get one since it is only 15 bucks.
It says though that i shouldn't expect it until mid december. Once i get it though if i can remember ill post some pics.
edit: still waiting, eta is 0-19 days and tracking says it is in my state
new battery door finally came in. Material quality is almost exactly the same as stock. Writing on the back is missing the galaxy note II branding but that may be becuase i have the sprint version.
If your into using nfc then you may wanna go with oem. It appears to not have nfc antenna. The are some 3rd party battery doors that have it built in but they'll cost you a little more.

IF you use one of the 50% off Samsung codes, or register your device on Samsung.com and use the code they send you, you can order a replacement battery door from them for $9.99. Bought mine yesterday morning and had it here by noon today. I messed up the one that came with my phone trying to Mod it.

I only see the verizon battery door on the website.
You could also order from Samsung for $19.99... there's plenty of 50% codes floating around that could bring it down to 9.99

here i bought one with NFC
Just as it say its an OEM back cover with NFC
I bought this flip cover advertised as genuine on Ebay and when it arrived I realized there is no NFC chip in it (mentioned in the listing, but I didn't see it). Additionally the colour is more black that grey, so it doesn't really match my phone + the texture of the back panel is different than the original panel of the phone. This makes me think it might be a fake copy.
But then I called Samsung Technical Support and one very cocky guy told me Samsung doesn't manufacture any covers for its phones and what they sell on their website is from 3rd party - WTF???
So is there a Genuine cover? And is there a genuine one without a NFC chip in the back?
How can I tell if it's fake?
it says right in the listing "no nfc chip" go re read it

So is there a Genuine Flip Cover without NFC chip?
And what does Genuine actually mean in this case? Made by Samsung? Made for Samsung? Not affiliated with Samsung at all?
It's just that the whole cover feels of cheap quality.

This is one of the non-genuine ones that have NFC:

Wow, they really went out if their way to sell this as the original flip cover. You have to be really careful when buying stuff like this. Watch out for words like Genuine, OEM, and Original.
To my knowledge, Samsung includes the NFC chip in all flip covers. Why would they offer one without? That really makes no sense. Why leave out something that costs so little only to disable one of the included features out of the box?
When the price is too good to be true that should throw up a caution flag.
Just curious, does the inside of the cover have the notch for the home button? All knockoffs I've seen do not. Just wondering how the actual product differs from the pics shown. The pics they've listed appear to be of the real flip cover. I guess they figured that most people wouldn't know the difference.

I'm assuming you're UK based from the ebay link? I bought the grey flip case from a UK seller (link below) and can confirm the NFC chips are in these ones. It was delivered within 2 days. I presume you can probably find one a bit cheaper but anyone selling the non-NFC versions should really be making sure everyone is aware of this too and as 'carhigh' mentioned the ebay page you linked to does have this stated right at the top. I'm presuming the product code of the non-NFC ones will also be different.

Now that you mentioned, no there isn't a notch for the home button - another clue this isn't a genuine product. So far I've found these differences:
No notch for the home button:
Protective film at the back doesn't have the 3 squares with some instructions as in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=xvBERAUb-M0#t=33s Also the color of the whole case is more black than dark grey.
No NFC contacts. No serial number on the inside of the back cover as in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=4cyXej7zxo0#t=41s Different mold design as well.
The small phone image on the lower left side of the packaging is not full colour, but very dark. You can't see any details such as the time on its screen:
Also there wasn't any protective white piece inside the flip cover as in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=xvBERAUb-M0#t=28s
How these guys have 99.9% positive feedback is beyond me. I buy from ebay a lot and have never left negative feedback. I believe most issues can be resolved, but the one thing I can't stand is a blatant lie. That's what they're doing here. The product shown is not the product they're selling.

hi, would that hep if i send you a self-stamped envelope which you use for returning the item by putting it in anypost box . we need to return it to the supplier because we have found a few odd ones without nfc chips and had to lower the price for all. i got it from the supplier for 15.02 poundsnd need to get it back from them. hope this is alrightfor you . alternatively, you may keep it for 10pounds and we refund the difference . which option do you prefer ?

Anyone knows where to buy back cover replacement for Note5? I checked ebay and amazon, no founds.
Check here.
http://www.repairsuniverse.com/samsung-galaxy-note5-screen-replacements-repair-parts.html
This is where I've gotten replacement original replacement stuff; check back for more Note5 parts. What they have now are screen replacements and stylus replacements. The rear panel should come soon (even though it is not technically removable)
Just find in stock one here:
http://www.etradesupply.com/samsung-galaxy-note-5-series-battery-door-white.html
now only in the white color
You can check etradesupply's store, the Galaxy Note 5 back cover is available in the site. while i clicked the link in the #1, no back cover in their store now.
I knew etrade, which seems focus on supplying OEM parts. Ordered from etradesupply and the quality is pretty good but a little bit expensive.
Hope the information helps. Good Luck! =)

Bought the T-Mobile S6 yesterday and went looking for the keyboard case. The store did not have it.
I noticed all the best buy stores in my area did not have it. Amamzon shows 1-3 months shipping.
Yes I can order online, but I don't see the case available in the shop Samsung app at all.
Just made me think, with all the bad reviews, maybe they are going to release an updated version.
Could just be wishful thinking..lol.

Ahh well... Wishful thinking..?
I haven't got mine yet, I held off at first because of the long shipping delays. But the other day it was about $50 usd off on Amazon and "only" 2 weeks to ship so it's on the way now. Design looks fine to me, I think I understand the limitations enough going in but I shall find out soon.
I did just receive my Keyboard case from Samsung.US. It was on back-order for 4 weeks.
I am using this now for 1 week and it sticks really well. No issue at all. I did not have to clean the back of my tablet or anything.
I also removed it several times and it did stick really well. Also after I but it back.
I have no issue at all and am very happy with it.
Maybe they did change something?
So the Amazon delivery estimate has been saying a few months, but it was at my door within a week of ordering, so I would recommend to go ahead and place the order.
As for the case sticking, I've had no problems either. The instructions also clearly state the back needs to be stuck on and left for an hour to adhere properly, so keep that in mind. Also I would clean the surface of tablet just incase before applying unless Its brand new like when I applied mine...
I wish there was a redesign. The body case seems to un-stick randomly and it provides not protection around the sides nor does it keep the screen's edges protected with a "lip".
Otherwise, if someone would make a case that would cover at least 3 sides of the tablet and leave just enough of the side with the keyboard pin connector exposed to attach the keyboard, that would be great. Either that or that side of the tablet is a flap that can be opened to attach the keyboard.
I purchased a $6 silicon case for every day use since I mostly just use the Tab S6 at home sitting in my recliner. But, I wanted the keyboard for those times that I didn't want to swipe everything.
However, the back piece of the keyboard case just doesn't impress me since it's not an easy auto-on/auto-off in any respect. So, I've been considering getting another silicon case that I can attach the keyboard case back cover to, then cut the silicon case just enough to allow the keyboard to attach.
So, what do you guys think? Will the keyboard case back cover's stickyness adhere to silicone better than the back of the tablet?

Samsung will never have the integrity to do a redesign for a product accessory, especially a device in their tablet lineup that they don't give two ****s about.
Hello ,
I have the book cover Galaxy Tab S6 by Samsung , it's perfect , finally ! I don't buy cover Samsung for my Tab S4 , Spen outside , it's a big problem ! I buy on Amazon a simple cover to have Spen inside , it's better to go outside with my Tab S4.
