[Q] Haven't any update - Huawei Ascend P7

Hello guys,
I am Belgian, 20 yo, just bought the P7-L10.
Version: P7-L10V100R001C00B127SP02 (KitKat; EUI 2.3)
I guess that it's not the last version, but the OTA can't find another one.
I am looking for someone who can tell me what ROM I can install or not, and what must I do before updating.
Like If I want the B136, should I get the B133 first?
What does "SP02" mean?
Thanks for reading and for you help. Haven't found something about that in the other posts

i think that the version you have is a provider version..
to get the newest version (b609) you need to get to the b133sp01 - you can find this here inside the forum..
how to install this firmware you can find by searching this firmware
after you successfully installed the b133sp01 you might get informed by the update app (the one which is from huawei preinstalled) that the b609 is available for download and ready to install...
as usual do a backup before updating
Gesendet von HUAWEI Ascend P7-L10 B609 - rooted

Hi,
Yeah I guess it's something like that, like always in Belgium, can't find a "normal" phone without some ****ty app (proximus apps, mobistar apps and so, here it was proximus)
Thanks for your reply, I'll try to install the B133SP01, which mean my device will be "clean", is that right?
I'll try to find the rom and find out how to make a backup and then install this! Thanks for the help, buddy! )
EDIT:
Are we okay that you are talking about this rom:
http://ulozto.cz/xHESUQkU/update-zip#download
And should i create dload on the SDCARD0 or SDCARD1?
Eeeeh I saw some guys who can not install 133 from the 126, d'you think I can from the 127? If I try what are the risk? Should I must go to 121 before? And If I am in 121 can i get OTA update instead of dload? D:
I am scared but I want an updated phone

Well, just tried with 121, 216, 136, 133, I can't install B600

From TIM brand to International version

Hi people! I've tryed to search around a guide, but this time I've found to much confusion about procedures, and after 2 months I decided to ask you, to receive and share a clearer answer for this problem.
I've have the P7 Brand TIM (P7-L10V100R001C00B138SP01) and EMUI 2.3.
TIM won't release any update for this phone. Never!
So, the only way to get my phone updated, is to install a custom rom, or an international stock rom.
I prefer the second for now.
Can you help me to do that? Link? Thread?
In some guide I've found, I've seen is needed to install all incremental updates, is it true?
tnx so much in advance!

you are with emui 2.3 so:
-make a backup because this procedure erase the phone's memory
-download and install b133 full rom (instruction are in the link) http://www.carbontesla.com/2014/09/...t-firmware-ascend-p7-l10-v100r001c00b133sp01/
-download and install this little file (this is very important for a correct debrand...installation is the same as full rom, just delete the previous update.app) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57504273&postcount=8
-hard reset
you should now be able to receive ota update with the preinstalled updater app

Hi,
You can use this link to download the rollback package
http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=91623&version=357533&siteCode=se
once you download it.
unzip and put the update.app in the dload folder on your external sdcard in your phone.
you have to manually create this folder in your external sdcard.
once you do this
type
*#*#2846579#*#* in your phone dialer
then you will get a menu
in that select
SD card upgrade
then you wait.
it will reboot and finish rolling back to stock.
Remember this will get you back to stock rom, but you will have to upgrade to some other ROM for your L09 after rolling back.
I do not have Huawei P9 but I have Huawei Mate 8 & Huawei Mediapad M3. I feel that there are lot of similarities between Huawei phones & that is why I feel you can make it work using these steps.
Hope this solves your problem.
For updating to EMUI 5.0
you can use firmware finder from play store.
Install the app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teammt.gmanrainy.huaweifirmwarefinder
in the settings of this firmware finder app
switch on "add on proxy"
now go to your WIFI-settings
tap and hold your WIFI connection
modify network - select manual
there you put the following
proxy is
localhost
port is
8080
that's it save.
then go to firmware finder app
search
download the right firmware for your P9 L09 and then click on "send the firmware to updater"
now
go to settings
update -> you should see the OTA for EMUI 5.0
But don't this now. First you have to rollback and only after that go for this EMUI 5.0 update.
Don't forget. Please click on :good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good:

L09C432B182 FULL firmware file. Found it in another thread. It seems to be working for them.
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1079/g104/v63880/f1/full/update.zip

Did it with that link i tried to post. So what i did was just force flash with dload on my sdcard using that original rom. Thx for the help!
Cannot update from EVA-L09C432B182 to Nougat
Can anyone please help. I'm going round in circles, following guide after guide.
I'm currently running a P9 L09, running EVA-L09C432B182, after rollback
PHONE Unlocked
FRP Unlock
Factory Recovery
I've tried the firmware finder, confirming firmware ok with IMEI. My version for some reason does not have the "send the firmware to updater", and I have configured the proxy, and installed the proxy. I've tried unzipping the downloaded update.zip by firmware finder, and dropping it into the dload folder.
It seems every version I try, its fails at 5%. What am I doing wrong.
Can anyone tell me a system that works to get back to the latest stock nougat.

b329 update and no music app

Hi everybody) A few days ago i updated my branded(vodafone) mate s to CRR-L09C02B329(MM) version, during update i had a fail message and when I restart the phone I found out that the update was installed successfully, but there music app was not installed so now I can't open mp3 files on my Mate S.. If someone else have had the same issue, how you solve it? Can I make downgrade the phone to my stock android 5.1 version by downloading the firmware from officila hghuawei site? I know that I cant flash c432 versions because it's not vodafone... Maby someone has the vodafone 5.1 firmware in this case, I would ask you to share the link with me) Thanks in advance for all xda audience))
Do a hard reset to see if this solves the problem. To find all the available roms for your version download the app firmware finder from play store.

C900 is global firmware and the procedure is the same for all versions. You can flash this and then flash a 5.1 rom with C02. The file has instructions on how to do the rollback.

Yes, you can. Probably this will solve the problem. I suggest you to use the installation method with the three buttons so that to do a clean install. Note that with this method you will lose your data, so make a back-up.

So the firmware size was 3Gb, yes I have already tried two procedures with three buttons and from menu by by digitting code #*#*2846579#*#* and selecting software update but nothing changes, yesterday I also looked for lollipop vodafone version, but I could not find anything.. I thought about flash role back c900 from official site and then retry to flash the same Marshmallow version... Can I do that?

I have already seen all roms of firmware finder but there are all OTA versions, and only c02b329 (which is my current version) is FULL. Is it illegal to flash current version over c900?
I have tried to install rollback and then once again c02b329... But after install rollback I didn't have c900b300 as axpected, but still have c02b329 and then reflash same version has no effect) But yesterday I found c02b110 which is an official firmware(lollipop) of vodafone, (if somebody else would need this firmware I will share a link) Can I try to flash this lollipop version just over my current firmware?
Thanks for all your replaies

Huawei p9 l19 firmware

Hi all, i have problem with my p9 l19c432 eu version. I had l19 c432b386 android n and i wanted to go bac to mm. My device doesn't have root or unlocked bootloader or custom twrp. I have all stock.
Tried to go back to mm dload method
1. Rollback package c900b300
2. Full firmware
I did step 1 and instalation was successful 100% but now when i go to about phone my android version is 5.0 NRD90M test keys, not c900b300.
I didn't try to do step 2. because i don't know so much about nrd90m.
Maybe my rollback package is not good, is there difference about rollback package for l19 and l09?
Can anyone help me with my problem? Thank you very much

That is the correct rollback. You just need to download and flash your stock Marshmallow firmware. In my case (eva-l29c636) it was B191. I had the exact same test keys in "about phone" , so just go ahead with step 2.

Thanks for your help. I was suspicious because it's not c900b300 after rollback package, it's ''NRD90m test keys'' and i didn't know can i flash full firmware when build number is nrd90m, so i stoped there. I will try to flash full firmware tomorrow.
Do i need to factory reset now or enable OEM in developer options before flashing full firmware or maybe flash rollback package again and maybe then i will get c900b300?
Thanks

I will try. But before that i must ask, do i need to install something more, because many people have problem as i can see on forum with missing apps like camera, keyboard, calculator..??
One more thing, do rollback will erase my personal data and aplications? And when? I asking because when i flashed rollback package, after that my data and aplicafions was still there. Maybe it will erase after flashing full firmware?
Thanks for answer

Yes, your data and apps will be gone. When you flash your M firmware it's going to make everything new as if you just opened the box. Sorry if you did not know that. I don't think there is any way to avoid that. I was just setting my device up and noticed an OTA update to B386 Nougat which I successfully updated to BUT then I found out that my P9 will not work on Nougat. I cannot scroll at all with it so I had to find the rollback firmware. I flashed it then immediately after that I flashed B191 Marshmallow and all is well. Nothing else. As I said, you will, however, lose all your data and I don't know if a backup can restore it for you.

Happy that it worked out for you. I have an icon on my desktop called "Themes", but when I tap on it there is nothing. I just assumed that was something that you would have to download and install from a Huawei website or get from a 3rd party app. Anyway, it does not concern me as I only care about throwing a pic on for my desktop. What really annoys me is that I cannot run Nougat on my P9
Anyway, good that you have it running again. I am on B191 and it looks like that will be all I can do.
update to emui 5

Maybe it`s better for you my friend, emui 5 have great design and everything i must say but battery life is better on mm, bcs of it i rollback to mm. But i don`t know why u can`t get official uograde. When i rollback to mm b182 i got instant upgrade to emui 5. Maybe your version of mm is not good bcs when i had emui4.1.3 i got upgrade to b386 and now when i have 4.1.1 i got upgrade to b383. Maybe you can try to install another version of mm.

You can update with firmware finder app on playsore, search on forum, you will find tutorial for it.
Or with 3 buttons combination and dload if you can find update, or with twrp if you have it and you will need update file too. Just search on forum tutorial for it and CORRECT update for your phone, single or dual sim whatever you have and with c900 bcs u have global version.

Stock update failed... Need help.

Hi community,
I bought btv dl09 c100 and want tp update it to new software. It is on ancient, probably first b003 fw. I bought newest (?) b311 fw, definitely matching version btv-dl09 c100. Made dload folder on sd card, start updating through dialer command. It starts verification, start installing and fail on 5%...
What can be problem?
Maybe not possible to jump from oldest to newest directly? Can someone give me advice... Thanks.
BTW. I tried of course ota update and hi suite update bit they found no any update.

You can updated directly to Oreo by installing LOS 15.1 if you want.
Do anyone know why there was no Enable OEM Unlock in developer options, thanks
