[Q] Won't boot into CWM - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Hello everyone,
I'd appreciate some help here.
I've been using my xperia tx on 4.3 JB for quite a while now but it consumed my battery like hell. So I flashed it back to 4.1.2 JB stock fw.
Now here's the problem, as i'd like to flash to carbon rom and to do so I need to boot into cwm recovery. I've downloaded CWM 9i_JB by davidmarco or something like that and it installed successfully. My phone is rooted and it has unlocked bootloader. I tried several times to boot into cwm with restarting my phone then when Sony logo appears I was consistently pressing volume down button and nothing happened, my phone booted normally. I've also downloaded Rom Manager to try and boot into cwm but that didn't work also. I don't really know where the problem is and i'd appreciate some help.
Thanks in advance,
Sandi
edit:
I've flashed another kernel with cwm integrated in it so everything works fine now.

[Q] x8 new ROM problem, need help

Hi guys, I'm having trouble with new ROM installation. I've been using Gingercruzt ROM since last spring with stock kernel. Bootloader is not unlocked, I've only rooted the phone. It's been working fine until I decided that I want to try something new today. I downloaded the GingerDX rom and installed it with CWM. Everything went fine and I rebooted the system. The phone didn't start, it got stuck on the SE logo. I couldn't enter CWM or xRecovery anymore. It bricked. Using SEUS I brought back the stock rom. I rooted the phone again, installed newer version of CWM from the toolkit, etc. I downloaded the zip again, installed it again - it bricked the phone the same way. Then I tried with two different roms - FroyoPro and Free Dom experience with full wipes on everything before installing - same thing, doesn't start. I was able to enter xRecovery with FroyoPro but no CWM and it get stuck at rom's loading screen.
Help please, what happened to my phone Why doesn't it load a ROM like it did yesterday?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, I cleared all the possible caches, system and other folders. I even formated my sd card, just in case...
I downloaded all the right roms for stock kernel, all three of them. As I said, I've done this before and it worked from first try.
Thanks for trying to help me!

You should not format /system, cause you are actually removing recovery+rom
& are you sure that froyopro supports stock kernel?

try to redownload the rom. flash it again after a full wipe, then reboot.
signature under repair
I cleared the system folder before flashing a new ROM just to make sure I have deleted the stock ROM.
I tried with three different new ROMs, none of them started. Strange thing... everything goes well with the install and then it just won't turn on.
Do you think it's going to be different If I try to unlock the bootloader and flash nAa's kernel? I don't really want to do that but the phone is manufactured before the 29th week so it's capable.
are you sure it doesnt turn on?,first boot may take some minutes...
Yeah, I know, I've left it for more than 15 minutes with any of the tried roms.
I think I should write down the steps I'm taking after the flash back to stock rom with SEUS.
1. Activating debugging mode and unknown applications.
2. I already have the Android SDK, adb server and drivers from before so I open SuperOneClick and root the phone. Busybox is installed and Superuser is on. Everything goes smoothly during the process.
3. Using x8toolkit I install xRecovery and CWM via Dualrecovery.
4. Reset and entering CWM. Full wipe, install from zip, installation goes without problems and says - Go on buddy, restart and start using
5. Reset, Sony Ericsson logo and that's it. Nothing more happens. With GingerDX and Free Dom experience I can't enter recovery any more. FroyoPro's starting screen shows up after the SE logo but that's all it does - it never goes any further. I can enter xRecovery but no CWM.
I tried installing roms with both xRecovery and CWM - all the same. Could it be some physical damage even though the stock rom runs perfectly well? I don't know, I'm a bit desperate as the battery lasts half a day with the stock rom.
Just to end this thread, nothing worked for me so I unlocked the bootloader, flashed nAa's kernel and got a new ROM compatible with it - it works like a charm now. Thanks for your support guys!

[Q] CWM looping after running CM Downloader

Hi all,
Hoping someone knows how to solve this issue.
I have been running the CM10.2 nightlies and downloading and flashing manually without too much issue.
I decided to try the app 'CyanogenROM Downloader' aka CM Downloader.
It worked fine to download the latest nightly but when I used a future which booths the phone into CWM and flashes automatically it just started looping.
It loads CWM and starts flashing but only gets a quarter of the way through before the screen flickers and the flash starts from the beginning.
If I reboot the phone by holding power and volume up until it buzzes 3 times it still loads directly into CWM and attempts to flash again but gets stuck in the same loop.
Do I have to flash back to a stock ROM now using flashtool to fix this?
I have the same issue on PAC nightlies. Try to flash an older or custom (with twrp) kernel to use recovery and flash the newest cm over it.

Thanks for the reply.
The issue was it wouldn't let me into the recovery menu.
All good now. I left it off for an hour and it booted fine. I manually launched CWM and flashed the ROM and it worked fine. I'll let the CM Downloader app devs know of the issue.

Was there a kernel included with the CWM files?
If on a stock Sony ROM re-flash a stock ROMs kernel via flashtool
If your using a non Sony ROM try flashing a kernel that matches the ROM you're using

Xperia SP boot loop

Hello,
I unlocked bootloader on my SP and flashed it with DooMKernel. Then, i installed Cyanogenmod. But i flashed it with doom again. Now, i am stuck in boot loop. It just shows doomkernel loading, and then some graphical artifacts, and then restarts itself
What i should do ?
DoomKernel only works on Stock Based ROMS
So reflash CM
Thats the problem i wont get into recovery ! I just see Doomlord screen and then some mumbo jumbo with black lines and blue screen
Okay now i flashed stock kernel with CWM and TWRP but i can no more install Cyanogenmod, installation fails...
Reflash stock and start over.... That is all you can do now since the recovery seems to be gone?
(Or try advanced kernel with recovery in it)
Okay it worked ! I flashed it with this kernel
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2646193
And then just wiped data and installed android, worked like a charm...
Great
Enjoy your revived PHone

Thats because doomkernel is only for stock Sony based roms,it wont work for cm/aosp based roms!!!
Since doomkernel is already installed, you should be able to access the recovery like normal.just get into the recovery and flash the cyanogenmod zip again.that zip will flash the cm kernel back on your device and everything will work fine
