[Q] newbie help with kies and samsungdive

sir when i connect my note to my laptop i get connection error everytime also i have registered in samsung account but the sync i greyed and i cannot sync, i see my mobile number on the samsungdive website after login byt the remote control is greyed , i have already enabled all the services please help

Check your Samsung account login ID in both Device and Dive in Website if it doesn't work. create a new Samsung account and try.

Just make sure that you have enabled "Remote Controls" in Settings
(Settings>Location and Security)
If the above option is un-ticked, then the "Remote control" option will be disabled in Samsung Dive Web too.
If everything is proper still if you cant access remote control then you have to flash stock ROM (Fresh install) and try.

[Q] Forget pattern

Hi there,
I have forget pattern for login in the htc one .
Now he ask google password but the Phone have not connection to internet
So google passwd not working
but he is rooted and s-off
Is it possible to get htc one Phone internet connection with adb or fastboot?
but fastboot work not good on windows 8.1
have i can get internet connection than i can fix me Phone with the google password.
so any know fix for that stupit thing i have do

What more info about me phone :
version 4.1.2 and sense 5.0
I have install recovery(twrp)

It seems hard to forget the pattern

Do you have a Wi-Fi connection setup? And turned on? You could always configure an access point to match one previously setup in your phone. Or restore a backup in TWRP. Or, lastly, factory reset.

Well if he wanted to use the stolen device he could always factory reset from the bootloader. So I don't think it's stolen. Either that or he wants the data inside.

Connect the phone to a computer. It should get pass through Internet.

I have turn off wifi and mobiel internet.
than i change pattern and there was going fault
when you do 5 time fault passwd why the hell he not ask for the puk code !!!
Than was me problem be fix but he ask for that damn google passwd and need internet connection
that is what i have try:
i try to connect the phone on usb from the computer
i can read everything but cant change anything in adb shell
i have make all copy from the data
now i need only unlock that pattern
and fastboot dont work on 8.1 windows
And this is not optie for me : i miss to many info about me work have i do restore a backup in TWRP. Or factory reset

@MRX_X you have TWRP recovery, correct?
Boot into TWRP
Go to Advanced -> File Manager
Select /data/system folder
Delete the files: locksettings.db, locksettings.db-shm, locksettings.db-wal.
Reboot, no more lock screen pattern or pin.
I wish it wasn't this easy...

Yesterday I came from party and I set up a password to my mobile :crying: . I cant figure out what the password is..
Is there any way how to bypass this? Or how to backup data? I have really important things for me on internal card. And now I cant even connect it via USB :/ ..thanks

I dont know what exactly you mean by this but probably not (voice comunicate?), not. I already tried Android device manager (via google, pc), but when I change PW it just say something like "changed PW is not needed" :/. I read about ADB (cant, no root), and many technics for android 5 and 4.. but on Android 6.. IDK :/

Permanently Changed MAC Address!!

Hey there. I recently flashed Resurrection Remix OS on my My Mi A2 and rooted with Magisk. After that, for a purpose , I wanted to change the MAC address of my phone(Mi A2) to my previous phone's MAC Address , for which I did install a application from Playstore called "Change Mac Address". I gave that Root access and tried to change it , it showed success but it indeed didn't change the mac. After that i Tried installing 2-3 different apps and they also failed to change it. Few mintues later I rebooted my phone and I see that my MAC has been changed to the MAC address I wanted to change and its now permanent. I tried rebooting several times and it has been the same. And Also I don't remember my original mac address so I don't know what to do . Now please tell me what should i do , and how can i get my original MAC address back to Original . And yes when i reboot my phone it first show mac address as (02:00:00:00:00).. something like this untill i turn on my wifi. I'm a bit worried about this issue . And please tell me what should I do and does changing mac affects my Phone's performance ?!

Try flashing stock modem.img from your rom / from PIE

you have the original mac on the box of the phone
before the wifi is turned on the mac address is always 02:00:00...
dont mess around with flashing the modem img, you can break a lot of other things, the app has written the new mac on the efs of the phone, only way to revert is to write the original from the box

Thank you so much for the help man. Can you tell me how it happened or is it caused because I used several apps(each app has its own way to change) ? And also Tell me which is the best Mac changer app that I can use without any problem. Please give me link to that app. It will be so kind of you.

just pick the one with the best user reviews on the play store, use just one, doesn't matter which one. whichever you use, you probably need to set, it, restart the phone and then the new mac will show.if you write the original mac from the box it will be like you never changed it.
even if you then uninstall the app i t should still keep the previously set mac.

Okay I didn't knew that we have to restart after changing the Mac. And also the first app didn't change Mac even after restarting so that maybe not working I'll use another app. Thank you so much man . I'll reply here or dm if I get any other query. Thank you so so much

no problem, sorry i've never used many of them so i can't recommend any, i just know how they work (they basically write with root the efs file that holds the mac address of the wifi chip) so it's quite normal for the os to need a restart before the change is "seen"

Thanks. There is also a issue with my newly flashed rom and that issue is about speaker sound . I made a thread about it( https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2/help/low-speaker-volume-sound-installing-rr-t3927310) and still no one has replied. So if you can help me please also do check out that thread. I'm new to XDA so I'm directly pasting the link here. ? Thanks

cant help you there undortunatly, i havent installed the rr on mine... ever.. maybe search the thread whre you found the rom, high chances someone ran into the same issue and might know how or if it can be fixed...

Nokia 4.2 destroyed - production use only

Hello together,
I'm new here and have a special question.
We use three cognex MX-1100 mobile scanner with integrated Nokia 4.2 (TA-1149 / TA-1157).
Since Android 11 there are a several issues first of all the phones lost WIFI and didn't connect again automatically.
So I thought about unlock the bootloader and install an operating system without any google service.
I used my replacement phone read a lot of informations and try.
The bootloader is unlocked that worked very well.
I tried to use TWRP but it can't mount, format, convert internal storage.
So I transfer lineageOS with adb and brick that phone.
I found an Android 9 image to recover it.
Now it's working again with Android 9 but I can't connect to any WIFI.
This seems to be a bug in this Image.
Is there any chance to get LineageOS or something else on Nokia 4.2?

Do you have correct MAC address on the device? If it's not correct, do you have whitelist enabled on the router?

Try installing GSI images. In another thread I've read not all versions work on 2.2, so try multiple.

Thanks for your reply but it is not a MAC problem, I can typ in my wifi password and the mobile device didn't connect. If I tap on my wifi network again nothing happens.
Where I can find an GSI image and how I can install it without TWRP?

Maybe try setting static IP? Does mobile data work?
Google "lineageos gsi images", and there will be. There are also Android 12 beta images.
Install via fastboot. I'd reflash old firmware before doing it, just to make sure it will work.

I can tap on my WiFi, put in my password and after that nothing.
I tap on my WiFi again no password field prompt no connection no error message...
I try to install every image from:
