I was playing around and hit while in TWRP . Bricked my phone. Trying to get a KDZ. The one Helton has on Storage Cow won't download for me.

If you don't find it by the time I get off work at midnight central standard time, then I'll upload it to Google drive and send us a link

If you're in twrp then there is an easy fix for that. Download the cm11 Rom I posted and any 4.4 gapps and sideload it to your flex.
Boot up in cm11. All you'll have is data and WiFi but you can at least use that to do what u need. Good idea to make a back up and put it on your pc for instances like this.

I had actually tried playfulgods CM. It still wouldn't boot. When I have more time, I will will try to sideload Dfuse's KK.
I went in to TMO yesterday. the rep said I could still send in on warranty and get another. Thats good! However, I still want to see if I can crack this. If I need end up sending it in for another I want to try to wipe as much as I can. The L90 was $50 so I grabbed that to at least have a phone.

I don't think it will let you side load larger than a gig. Try the cm11 I posted. Its been modified and bumped to flash.

Need modem.img for ZV5

I got tired of waiting for a sprint tot file to fix the LG screen bootloop, so I flashed the Verizon kdz and everything is working except for data signal. If someone on a rooted Sprint phone is kind enough to upload their modem.img, I can try it on my phone to see if I can get data working. You can use "Partitions Backup" from the playstore to save the partitions or do the command
su
dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/modem of=/sdcard/modem-ls991modem.img

Follow this link. I'm not sure if we will ever get a sprint tot for this phone. Do this at your own risk. I am still waiting for a boot.img for the sprint zv5, so I can try to go back to the sprint rom.

SORRY, THIS IS NOT THE FILE...
Not out yet. Waiting, but it seems that your post has been looked at 155 times so far today...
What would you do with it anyway? If you Odin it, you won't have root when you get done and if you had root, it won't be there after....POOF...
MAYBE WHEN IT COMES OUT, SOMEONE MIGHT BE ABLE TO PRE-ROOT IT, BUT THEN IT WILL JUST BE CRAPPY STOCK ANYWAY....
I just want the original .zip file to put on the external card and update manually.
When this file does actually come out, do you think it can be used on the pre-installed OF3 firmware? I Realllllly need firmware OF3 or above... Thanks!

NEED??? LOL. Well if it stock OF3, then you can update it because you probably do not have root. If you have root with OF3, that means you used @muniz_ri procedures, and he said a while ago that 5.1.1 probably wont be rootable, but he also recently said he will look at it when/if the file is available , whenever that may be (I am watching several sites). If you are not rooted, you can always try to update thru OTA, when that is available. I will not download it because once it downloads it just updates and that ain't gonna happen on my phone and also because I am on a custom rom and am not willing to even try it unless he can come up with a rooted version which will keep the BL at OA1 so one can go back. For me this would only be a test to see if it was any better than 5.0, but soon after I would go back to my beloved TMS5 3.0 rom. IT'S GREAT!!!

download the .cfg file, rename it update.zip, put it on the root of your external sd card. Then power off the phone and hold vol up+home+power until you see recovery in the corner, then let go of power and volume and keep olding home till you see the recovery menu. use volume down to choose update from sd card and power to select it then find the update.zip file and select it. BTW this will wipe your data so backup whatever you need before hand.

if you are on Kit Kat, then update to OC4 using
Update to oc4 using what? And later, how to update to oi5?
AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 (G900A) device with Cricket Wireless service.
I upgraded to OC4 by downloading the OTA update and tried doing the same to OI5 from the link shared in this thread and received 'E: Error in /..../package.zip (status 7)' the following preceding the error. 'Package expects build fingerprint of samsung/...../G900AUCU4BOF3' and then says I'm on G900AUCU3BOC4, which is accurate.
Device is not rooted, nor have any system files been altered.
These are the listed updates on the AT&T website. I don't see OF3 update.
Released 2015 OCT 22: G900AUCU4COI5
Released 2015 AUG 12: G900AUCU2AOA2
Released 2015 JUL 1: G900AUCU4BOF2
Released 2015 APR : G900AUCU3BOC4
Why are they expecting OF3 if they've only released OF2 and OA2 after the OC4 update?
And ... anyone else running into this?
UPDATE: As others have said (from searching) Best Buy can do the update at no charge. That's what a Samsung rep told me and also said since I have the device from AT&T, but service through Cricket Wireless, I will have to get updates from Best Buy and will not get them OTA.
UPDATE2: Saturday I went to Best Buy, they updated my phone to OF3 and I went home and used the file posted earlier in the thread to update to 5.1.1. No issues.

Hello, sorry for the delay.
The stock update files for update in Recovery Mode from an external memory are:
OA1 to OC4: 1drv.ms/1l3kSFp
OC4 to OF2: 1drv.ms/1l3kTco
OF2 to OF3: 1drv.ms/1l3kVky
OF3 to OI5: 1drv.ms/1l3kUgy
These are URL links to my onedrive. Since I'm new and I can not have tagged links.

If you have a ww sku try to put this file (http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/EeePAD/ME176C/UL-K013-WW-12.10.1.36_KK-user.zip) on the root of you microSD card and reboot the tab, it should try to flash it (well not on first reboot, you'll have a notification asking you if you want to do the update); if this doesn't work either try the nandroid (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347832070) from jerbear, it was done on an unmodified me176c with lollipop, you must use the tethered recovery, make a backup, reboot, replace your back up files by the files of the nandroid, then reuse the tethered recovery and restore from the new back up. Ask jerbear from this forum for further explanation, i'm just a user who had the same problem, not a specialist.

Ps; the system will do an update after the nandroid restore, it is an older version of the me176c's lollipop rom.

a factory reset doesn't give you the original rom, the update will still be there, the downgrade is a very tricky process, and i answered you only because you asked, but i repeat myself, you should really keep your tab the way it is now, i regretted having done the update for months until someone finally found a way to roll-back to kitkat.
With lollipop you'll have:
-memory leak (can be fixed anyway).
-overheating.
-crashes.
-apps closing themselves or refusing to launch.
-random reboots of the tab itself.
-some users even had clock issues on the tab (too slow).
-others had battery life issue (tablet discharging too fast).

1924-7 Metro E5 Plus lost imei and baseband

Ive been pulling my hair out trying to restore my IMEI for the past 2 days. I have the stock 8.0 firmware downloaded and can flash the phone back to stock no problem but no matter what I install, stock or custom rom, my imei is gone.
I believe the problem started when I was rooting the phone and followed a guide saying to use the e5 james twrp to boot to twrp and make a backup, which I have in my google drive. I got magisk installed etc and ended up wiping the phone, not realizing the encryption wouldn't allow me to get my files back. If I do anything other than a clean install it fails to decrypt and I have to restart into TWRP.
I don't have the original box and can't find the guys info that sold me the phone so I don't have the original imei handy.
Anyone have any thoughts or success getting their imei repaired?

Well I'm not sure how to proceed from there. If you do have a backup try to see about extracting it and seeing if it includes the persist folder. If not you may have to look around on what to do next.
The Moto G5s Plus I had the issue on shipped with Nougat and I flashed pixel experience rom and havoc OS for a while before flashing stock to sell it. When I did that I had lost my imei and had to hunt around until I found that thread I linked and followed it to fix the issue. Your issue may or may not be fixable the same way.

I'm going to download it and try it now. I think I used one with a different baseband and radio version that caused my issue in the first place. Been a while since ive rooted. But thanks, I'll let you know how it goes.

I understand I got sound after I flashed it twice. The only problem I got is caller can't hear me everything works except the caller can't hear me I have been working on that but it's becoming to a point of getting a replacement but not quitting just yet. If I find something will post it ..
If I figure anything out ill be sure to keep you posted. If you could do the same, Id appreciate it greatly.
