...but really this score is not decisive to me.
After using many time the Energy, now I'm using x826 although it seems important the customization capacity, at the end I want a phone fully operating and energy don't do it
Please add battery life. That'll make a whole difference.

I thing the main problem with Energy ROMs is that, that NRG does not have Xperia X1i phone so that rom is never really tested on xperia, and too many applications are installed that we don't/can't use on xperia, and every overnight charge gives SOD so for me 826x ROM much, much better, but now when Willis (826x ROM maker) stuff has been stolen I think I'll use Energy ROM when I get bored of latest 826x ROM....
agree with sirkula, there are many roms from energy every week but all of them have basic defects & many things are unusable.x826 was going to be better & that thing happened to him.
but unfortunately there will be no more 826x rom

well, i installed ROM 826x WM 6.5.3 build 21682 - Sense 2019 and apparently yes, is so fast, load de OS soon and start with a "Xperia" screen (energy series start with HTC screen) this remind me that i had a xperia jejeje.
i followed all steps to load the new rom,( u know, task29,load rom, hard reset, etc) and...maybe is not important but my battery not pass of 90%, maybe really has more than 90% ´cause i have been used and still has 90%, i don´t know if this is a bug or what, other thing, how can i change the clock to 12 hours format??? is in 24hrs and i can get change this....
but is really good this Rom, defeinitly i´ll use this roms series since this moment, good bye energy series

ok,the battery percent is in 10% divisions.i mean it shows 90% when the battery level is between 90 & 80...and about the clock.go to world clock and press menu and then 12-hour format
After giving various versions of x826 and NRG a good run, I, regretfully, had to revert back to Nuts. For me the stability and battery life outweighed the eye candy and customisation, even CHT and LeCiel's offerings could not compel me to stay.
The biggest issues for me were unexpected shutdowns with lack of response and constant battery out resets in order to function. It came to a point of me not knowing what to expect every time I left my X1 for more than a minute, I missed calls, messages and e-mails because my X1 slept itself to death.
Battery life was not as great as many described when recommending both of the above ROM series to me. Another problem was X1 becoming sluggish overall with memory leaks noted over a day use. I understand NRGZ's inability to test ROMs, however, constant almost daily releases with very little overall benefit and each buggier than the next do very little to instill confidence. I need a functioning device, not a flashing exercise toy, I was feeling frustrated and angry every time yet another eye candy ROM had to be reset, hard reset, re-flashed to yet another release and the vicious cycle started again.
So I flashed back to my all-time favorite MrRusch's Nuts and it feels like coming home. Please note, I kept 10.9 6.1 Nuts, rather than 10.10 6.5 update.
Using 826x CHT 2018. Never had a more reliable rom in my life. It's a god damn shame, I really dont like the NRG series, the 4 start colums, the programs, and all the bugs...ugh I really do not want. Although I appreciate his work he really should look into this since he's releasing it for us with the same bugs and bloated software. We need more simplicity and stability in our roms and 826x had it all. ♥
^I'll actually have to disagree with teh above post, battery life lasts a long time on my x1. I use everything too, including wi-fi. 6 hours of music 1 hour of wi-fi takes up half the battery. :3

What I meant was not that the battery life is bad, but rather that I had better battery performance out of ROMs OTHER than the ones listed. The worst in terms of battery life was NRG.

Stuff? As in his X1? I read his blog and he only mentioned he lost some of the files for his Kitchen, u know, the tools the the chef or rom makers use when they design the roms......i haven't seen any mention of him losing his phone though.

why's that? coz his X1 got stolen??
Anyway, here's my input on the two roms. I've ALWAYS used and love Energy roms, especially on my HTC Touch Pro and HTC Touch Pro 2. So when I got my Xperia X1 last week, of course the first thing I did was test out the Energy Rom on it. To my disappointment, it was laggy and crap. Battery drains like crazy as well (and yes I did a hardreset after flashing it, like you always do).
Then, I heard about the 826X rom and tried it 2 days ago. God damn, it's amazingly fast. It's pretty damn responsive and no lags whatsoever. Sure it's not as "pretty" or customizable as the Energy rom, but who the hell cares?? Once you know how to use XDA_UC or SASHIMI, those don't matter at all. I've had my SASHIMI setup to install everything I need, all that takes a few hours to manually install anyway so in the end, the 826X rom wins.
However, the 826X rom also uses up battery quickly, and I think it uses up faster than the Energy rom, i'm not too sure but it seems like it at least.......
I recommend anyone new to using the Xperia X1 to try out the 826X rom first. You'd find that performance, stability and most importantly speed is more important than eye candy. No point using Energy rom when it's slow and laggy like **** when you make a text, or try to multitask many programs at once, or try to move around the menu quickly, etc etc.......you'd find that the eye candy is useless and all you get is frustration on using it, compared to using 826X rom.
826x is back!
He already got his x1 but he has lost his kitchen...so his new roms may not be as great (or even better!) than what he had prior to him having all his stuff stolen. I haven't tried his newer roms yet since I have switched over to a HD2...and will soon run android on NAND (still currently running on SD). If you think NRG rom battery life is bad, try running android. I can not even last for more than 14hrs!
On my count, 826x rom wins hands down without scoring. I originally got the x1 flashed with NRG, used it for a week and had to switch to another rom. Tried it with NRG's newer roms, than a few other ones on the way till I reached 826x.
The battery life and stability is amazing on 826x rom...I had to switched back to x1 yesterday since I will not be near a power supply for the HD2. I had 2 exchanged email setup, 10mins phone calls, 6hrs of music (using S2P), about 1hr of online time through 3G and some occasional txt. Phone left the charger at 5am, and by the time I got back home at 10pm, I still have 30% of battery life left! No crash, no hang!
Hi, I use mi 5 nearly 2 year. I'm heavy user first 6 month but now i use my phone for basic things. 9gag, Instagram, WhatsApp etc. not gaming. And I have max 1,5 hour screen on time. I need some tip. Want to down clock my cpu or battery performance Rom. Any advice?

I had a similar problem, replace your battery. I bought a NOHON battery on Aliexpress and have had no problems for 2-3 months now. It regularly gets 4-4.5hrs SoT on JDC Nougat Revived.
