I'm using stock 4.4.3 with ElementalX kernel and Rumrunner does not work for me. It pours 8 times then it says, "Wait 30 seconds, pray, try again" Fast boot is disabled, no lock screen, SuperSU grants all root access, still no hope. People are saying that they used Firewater but its website says they discontinued the work so I can't download it either, any help would be appreciated.
Your viable and most likely option is now sunshine for $25 US if you can't soff with rumrunner. Rumrunner seems to work best with lower hboot, firewater no longer works, and revone is for 1.44.
You can run the test app from their website to see if it will work.
You could also try moonshine or revone, but I don't know if either will work. I used revone with the oldest version of ARHD I could find, and it worked great.

Like the title says, I can't get S-OFF after spending hours trying to get S-OFF. I have an unlocked and rooted the phone using SuperSU v1.80. Here are some relevant numbers: HBOOT 1.55.0000, ROM 3.24.531.3, Android Version 4.3, and the phone was bought and uses T-Mobile. I have followed tutorials on revone, moonshine, and rumrunner universal edition and have had no success. If there is anyone who can help me find out what I am doing wrong, I would greatly appreciate it.
EDIT 1: I also did the 1.55 specific rumrunner method.
Try rumrunner methode for hboot 1.55. That might work

Woops, forgot to say I did that too.
do you have drivers installed? what does the rumrunner says?
Yea, check that you have the drivers installed, and that also HTC Sync is uninstalled. Next you should have ADB debugging enabled as well.
And now try to run rumrunner as administrator.
Can someone please finally find a way to S-OFF the HTC ONE?
I've tried revone and moonshine and nothing is working.
I'm currently running Android revolution 40.3, TWRP 2.6.3.3, Hboot 1.54

You may need to search VERY hard for something called rumrunner.

hboot 1.54 = firmware 2.xx = ROM based on 4.2
40.3 is already 4.4 and 31.6 is 4.3, it MAY work and maybe it won't.
and "the last part doesn't work" isn't very specific, is it?
Not trying to be an a**, but saying things like "i'm on latest version" doesnt really say much.
Versions usually have numbers for a reason.

Ok, as far as i know not sure if you can s-off while on kitkat..so for the sake of s-offing, flash ARHD 31.6 (ive used this to s-off my device twice on hboot 1.55 and it works) it should work for you too. and for revone and moonshine won't do since you need to use rumrunner for hboots 1.54 and 1.55
Now, im assuming you already have adb set up and know how to use adb and fastboot commands, so go on n check out this thread and then go to www.rumrunner.us and download the universal version 0.5.0 and remember to follow all the directions (most importantly disabling all firewall/antivirus, as this is what plagues most people). and then you should have s-off
thank you, I've tried this again and this time it worked!

I'm on ARHD 70.00 and am trying to achieve S-Off with no luck. I've tried both revone (which used to work before I updated) and Firewater (which I've never tried before). I'm currently downloading rumrunner to see if that will work.
Has anyone had any success with S-Offing 1.57? I can post a getvar if needed.
Try firewater on arhd 53.0 (or any sense 5.5 rom) like i did. It worked like a charm.

I tried it, but no dice. I think it's because downgrading the ROM doesn't downgrade the hboot. Thanks for the help anyways, though
I think Firewater is the only one that could work with that version. What's the error message?

After trying for hours to s-off, I have nothing to show for it. My boot loader is unlocked and I'm on 1.56 with viperone. I've tried firewater and rumrunner and neither have given me anything.
Firewater just gives the whelp message for whatever reason and rumrunner just runs through the 8 things and says reboot and run again and it keeps doing the same thing.
What has worked for you guys? The last time I did this I was able to use revone but now I have a new One that I got from at&t warranty.

... FireWater has been known best for 1.56 hboot. You should try some more even if you are already tired of doing that. Never let the device sleep during the process cuz it asks for superuser permissions many times. Even if this doesnt help, download another copy of Firewater and then try again :good: ...
If Firewater says whelp this sucks Firewater won't work blah blah then no amount of changing roms will help. You're stuck

I currently have my M7 unlocked and rooted, now fancy a try at getting s-off for my M7.
I am currently running the latest Insertcoin rom with the default kernel that comes with it. I've currently tried Rumrunner and Revone that come with the Tookkit from Squabbi but both fail. I am assuming this is because 1.57 is a tricky one to gain s-off.
Anyone had any luck with this verson and running Insertcoin?
Thank you.

With that hboot your best free chance of S-OFF is firewater. I don't know about that combination but you can search the thread and see if someone has made it. It seems each phone is different and what works for one doesn't work for another. If you get the "whelps this sucks..." message then you will need to use sunshine but it cost $25.
Ok, tried the Firewater method, first bottle chugs then I am informed my kernel contains an anti firewater patch. So, I googled around and it shows Elemental as being firewater friendly. I flashed this kernel, tried Firewater and I get the same results.
I am running the latest ARHD and obviously now the Elemental kernel.
Thanks.

use an older rom + bulletproof
you can also check here for more info: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2632351
if you are already on firmware 6.xx, then most likely firewater will fail anyway (even without giving you the "whelp this sucks" message)
Older rom, as in perhaps a Jellybean rom? Sense or aosp?
Yep, on a 6.09 build number.
Thanks.
I tried many different ways to get s-off on HBoot 1.57. All failed.
Only option working is SunShine, which costs me USD$25.
But it is surely fast and effective.
Check your emmc chipset. If it begins with 9001, you won't be able to s-off without Sunshine - if it's any other you should be fine. I managed to s-off with OnePlus One CyanogenMod 11S rom.
