I tried to uninstall cynogenmode So tried below steps
format system
format /data and /data/media (/sd card)
after that I am only getting the mi3 flash screen only how can I install new andoird or restore older version.
You need to restore system via fastboot, follow this guide
en.miui.com/thread-68201-1-1.html
U can install any other compatible rom using adb! Google for how to install rom via adb.

Hello everyone,
I recently asked my friend to root my phone and flash cyanogen mod 12 on my phone. After he flashed it, I realised that I still have the stock recovery (MI Receovery 2.). I am unable to flash gapps no matter how many times I try. I have added the zip file to internal memory, changed the name to "update", from recovery, i have tried to update.zip but it always fails after it reaches 98%.
I thought the problem was the stock recovery so I tried to flash the cwm recovery the same way as mentioned above, but the result was the same. I couldn't flash that either.
Please help!!!

Okay it seems that your system partition is full.
You can opt for one of the 2 solutions I'll provide you :
1
So as too much said, you can resize your partition in order to get system1 1.2Gb and system 2 just some Mb.
Here is the thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-3/general/howto-resize-extend-partition-capacity-t3011918
Or just flash the zip provided here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58591075&postcount=29
But remember to make a nandroid backup of your rom because repartitionning will wipe your system partitions. And also keep the rom zip on your internal memory.
2
But without resizing you can flash a smaller gapps package (just google play services and play store), normally your rom is based on android 5.0.2, so if I'm not mistaking here are the gapps you can flash (smaller one) : https://mega.co.nz/#!1c1VhAKT!SCCXkMJ3oS1bTc-LFFYCjqL0MXVqb4Q8HIEINuZYj98
After that you can install gmail and other google apps from play store. These apps are going to be installed as user app wiythout taking storage on system partition.
Hope it'll help you
Hi guys.
Just did a clean flash all was working fine but when i try to start for ex "black mart" it crashes display goes black.
Tried Wiping everything and re flash same problem remained.
Tried "Format Data" got the following message :
" E: Unable to wipe '/data' -- Unknown file system
'auto'
Unable to format to remove encryption . "
Also I get two red lines in the install log :
E: unknown command {log}
E: unknown command {log}
all help is appreciated
My advice is to install a custom ROM without wipes, if it still does not work, make all the wipes, except the SD, if it still does not work, install the stock rom, that should work 100%, you can give me the link Black mart, I need to check something
Hey Jimmy
I Installed it without wipes didnt work...did a clean flash still no luck....figured if i can remove the whole partition and re create it all leftovers will be deleted ..
So i asked how to go about this...got an old stock rom flashed it with the pit file...now all apps were working again ...tried formatting the partition still same problem... wiped it once more...installed LOS 14.1....problem remained...tried a few diff releases of 14.1
Figured maybe if i downgrade TWRP back to 2.8.7 (from 3.0.0) maybe i can format it....so I did and voila now i could fomat the disk ....but this time I installed cm-13.0-20160113-UNOFFICIAL-kminilte....all is now working
The first installation of 14.1 was actually working...but I downgraded to 5.1..1 because i wasn't able to restore my backups ....the second time around I noticed that the file manager was now displaying " shared Internal Storage" (which it didnt the first time) dunno if that had something to do with it...
Here is the lnk i dL black mart

hi. i downloaded tesla rom for htc one m7 and pico gapps. i wiped all data , cashe and installed the rom and gapps. i didnt backup the previous rom ...After installation the roms starts and screen shows welcome to your one. there are two options..copy your data and set up as new. wherever i click it says setup wizard has stopped and doesnt go further. phone does not shows data when connected with pc it says adb driver installed and shows no internal storage files.i also installed htc file manager but it says no phone connected.. please help
It could mean gapps package or rom is broken. Reflash your rom and use newest gapps package or reboot to twrp and conect phone to pc. It should allow you to copy new rom on your device. Wipe everything except internal storage and flash a new rom.
I would like a help, so I'm trying to install the rom via mi flash, but not installing the rom, it's in 500sec and nothing to complete the installation, luckily I was able to install via TWRP, however when I try to update via Android OTA 10 I get stuck in the bootloop.
need more info.
You installed Twrp I assume over the stock rom?
if so boot into TWRP and format user data. ( note this wipe completely erase the phone. but you have no choice it must be done. if you have files that you want on the phone, see you can access them via Windows explorer and copy them over to your desktop.
Basic Instructions
FORMAT /data partition (Important Never Ever Wipe System Or Persist!)
Copy our ROM to the internal storage or use external USB drive ( must choose which device to install from in twrp)
Install ROM, and anything else depending on rom if needed such as gapps
Reboot to recovery
Reboot to system and setup

Now I managed to install the rom with Android 10 global, but the region is only in China, I can't change it and this one without facial unlocking.

I believe that @Agimax has a flashable mod on his stable page for changing regions, that seems to be a bug with the latest stable version.
Check here, and maybe tried pinging Agimax, if you need assistance.

Another option is flashing the latest Xiaomi.EU, which has every available feature some of which have not yet found their way to the stable build.
For the download links check Option 2

Hello, I was tinkering for a few days to actually use lineage os in my device. I've flash multiple TWRP across these two days from xda forums, TWRP and PBRP works fine, what bothers me is everytime I install custom rom, when I reboot the system, it will go to fastboot after showing redmi logo with unlocked bootloader. I don't seem to know what's the case, but if I flash MIUI, it will work, not with other roms.
These what I've done:
Download Rom
TWRP (already installed) & vbmeta ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...omi-redmi-note-9-xiaomi-redmi-10x-4g.4218909/ )
Reboot to recovery
Wipe DATA (the right button in TWRP)
Reboot to recovery again
adb push file or copy rom zip to /sdcard or internal storage
Install Rom
Wipe data and not wipe data already tested with no avail
Reboot to system
My problem is, is it really possible to install lineageos? I've tried to install lineageos17 which is fail with logs arround the line of Error 7, and then /product (no such file is found) or something like that. My device is Redmi Note 9 Helio G85, is it not compatible? or should I try using GSI treble rom?
I've also tried to downgrade to MIUI 12.0.3.0 from 12.0.6.0, I downloaded 12.0.1.0, but haven't tried it yet.
Any help is appreciated, my pc is linux based, so if possible without much tinkering to move to windows. Thank you.
