Hi
I've flashed (including kernel) my phone (C6903) TrinityVengeanceRaptorXHD_1.3-XperiaZ1 and TrinityVengeanceRaptorXHD-LB_UB-Patch-V1.4 taken from here. Unfortunately after it was done my phone was also done.
There is no reaction on 3 buttons pressed at the same time and i cant get into flashmode or fastboot mode. Holding power button makes a single vibration that is being repeated as long as the PB is being hold.
Can anyone help me bringing it back to life? Can it be done not leaving the room or do i need some special tools or send it to guys that has these?
Regards
Wizzy
Hi
I've managed to rescue it. I'm not sure how i did that os i will put here steps that i've taken. Firstly i could not enter fastboot or flashmode by PButton + Vol UP or Vol Down button. I've opened flash tool and connected phone while holding power down button but after unpacking flash image it prompted to unplug the device and plug it again with volume down button being hold but nothing was happening.
So here are steps:
1. I've connected it to the AC and tired holding different combination of buttons ( to see if the led is working ). VIsualy no response has been noticed.
2. While flash tool was still hanged on prompted dialog i've connected the phone to the PC while holding volume down button.
3. It started flashing process.
Thansk & Regards

I follow these steps:

But it just keeps popping back up! What should I do?
The method that everyone has explained here with isnt working for me. I release the power button when the screen goes black while holding the vol. up and down buttons and it just goes right back to the same screen with the phone - !- computer icon. If anyone knows any other ways i would appreciate it.

Follow method 3. Basically:
1) Remove batt, sim card, insert batt again
2) Open ODIN
3) While holding vol up+down key together, put in your usb cable. Hold onto your vol up+down button while doing so until you see download mode.
4) Fire up ODIN.

So I installed a TWRP RECOVERY a Motorola RAZR i, using the Flash Tool.
It installed but I could never access it from the POWER VOLUME UP & DOWN method.
So I had to turn the phone on and enable USB Debugging then use ADB to reboot into recovery via the Flash Tool.
Then I was working on a PORT when I flashed a ROM, it went into bootflop, now I cannot get into the BOOTLOADER at all.
It never works, it will show the normal warning sign and then just go straight to the ROM.
I tried using RSD with an SBF File but it did not work, as I have to be in fastboot and I cannot be in without going into the bootloader.
Is there no hope for this device...
I have the feeling that twrp isn't flashed right. U did use fastboot?
For the bootloop. Hold volume down the whole time when it boots/bootloops, it will boot in ap flashmode (fastboot). Maybe u need to stop pressing the button after the first restart(when holding the volume down button) at the moment u get the warning.
Easily recoverable, just need some trying with the above way.
Sent from my XT890 using xda app-developers app
My method to come into fastboot-mode while having a bootloop:
1. when in bootloop press all buttons (power, VolUp, VolDown) and keep pressed
2. when screen goes off, leave the VolUp button alone, keep VolDown and Power pressed.
3. when phone vibrates, leave power alone and keep VolDown pressed
4. the bl-unlock-warning shows up and after a few seconds you should be in fastboot-mode
5. now you can leave VolDown alone
Maybe you need some tries, cause its a question of timing, but for me it works.
Thanks...

I am very grateful for your help. Thank You ever so much. The solution worked perfectly. You saved my phone
So I did a stupid thing and didn't do my homework. I flashed CM 10.2 for Xperia T (Mint) on my rooted Xperia TL but didn't unlock the bootloader first. The phone won't boot. Just a black screen. If I hold the power button, it vibrates once, but nothing comes up on the screen. No LED light indicating charging while plugged in.
Have I just destroyed the phone?

No. A custom kernel won't work on a locked bootloader, so that is essentially your problem. Just put your phone in flash mode and use flashtool to flash a stock FTF and it should boot up just fine.

Then maybe put your phone in fastboot mode and flash the kernel first... IDK, I did that once and I'm pretty sure that's how I fixed it. With 7zip you can extract the "kernel.sin" file from the FTF, and use Flashtool in Fastboot mode to flash that kernel.
Thanks. I've been trying to put it into fastboot and can't get it to work. From what I have read, I need to hold power+volDown, right? I've held power + volUp to get it to vibrate three times, then connected it with the power & volDown buttons held and nothing - no blue light for fastboot mode. I've currently got it plugged in (using the oem Sony cable) with a rubber band around the power & volDown buttons. Maybe that'll work... I dunno. The led is just staying red, and I can't see it listed as a fastboot devices by typing "fastboot devcies" when cmd is open in the correct folder in the sdk... Any ideas on how to get this done?
Thanks for your help, everyone.

It's a bit hard to understand what you're trying to do
Fastboot mode = just press vol.up, keep on pressing, connect USB, when you get a blue light release the vol. button
Flash mode = just press vol.down, keep on pressing, connect USB when Flashtool is ready to flash the FTF, when you get a green light release the vol. button
As you can see, you don't have to press the PWR button (only pwr + vol.up to reset, but you already know it).
Usually it's enough to flash a new FTF... I don't know why you get that error: maybe a wrong button combination or maybe you didn't install the drivers needed for flashtool.
If your battery is almost discharged, the fastboot method is good to flash only the kernel in order to recharge the battery and then flash an entire FTF.
I guess your device is ok.
Anyway, have you already seen this guide?
I'll give it a shot. I can't seem to get it into flash mode or fastboot mode, though. When I hold down the Volume up or volume down button and try to plug it in, the light stays red and the computer makes a "connect" sound (Windows 7 - rising tones), then multiple "disconnect" sounds (falling tones). The light stays red and the phone is not connected.
I'm downloading a stock firmware and flashtool and will report back when I've tried it some more.

I suggest removing the battery, if you have the chance.
Keep the battery removed and press and hold power and volume up buttons simultaneously. Then plug the phone to your computer and you'll enter fastboot mode.
I revived my XV with the same red led that way.
Had to remove the battery before it would work, tho.
Good luck bro!
Sorry it took so long to get to this. I've just been using my backup in the meantime.
I took the battery out and plugged it in like you suggested. Worked like a charm! I've got it flashed and running now. Thanks!
Hello,
I wanted to flash TWRP into my Z1 C6903 so I downloaded latest TWRP img with official TWRP app and tried flashing it with RASH - Flash tool for Android. The tool stated that the flash was successful so I proceeded to reboot into recovery with the same app. The phone immediately shut down and wouldn't boot back up to neither Android or recovery. It would vibrate once when holding the power button, holding power + volume up would do nothing and phone would not be recognized by PC and even plunging it into wall would do nothing. I tried disconnecting the batter, plunging it to wall and connecting the battery back on which only made LED blink red and device still be not recognized by PC. Can someone help me how to unbrick my phone?
Thank you.

Magic keys for booting to recovery are either:
Hold Vol down and power
release Power when device vibrates, keep holding Vol down
hold Vol down until in recovery
Or:
Power on
if LED blinks press Vol up
If that shouldn't work there's fastboot (only with bootloader unlocked before) or sony flashtool. Just flash latest sony firmware and you should be fine.
There are enough threads concerning this

Then Flashtool is your friend. You have to reflash the Sony Software.

Have a SM-T813. Attempting to use Odin to flash TWRP. All goes well be it keeps rebooting back into the normal recovery. I've tried different methods....with and without auto-reboot. I've read where some devices will replace the updated recovery if the proper key sequence is not used but I think that may be part of the issue. When done flashing I hit the power button and vol down button but instead of powering down it seems to power back up/reboot precluding me from hitting the proper key sequence to enter recovery mode. Home + Vol UP + Power.
And btw I have Allow OEM Unlocking and Allow USB debugging set.
Am I missing a procedure?

I have a 713 and the procedure is kind of funky but is the same. See lines 5-7 below. You literally need to move one finger from volume down to volume up while the fingers on power and home stay put.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/development/twrp-3-0-2-1-galaxy-tab-s22016-sm-t713-t3390627
Flash with ODIN 3.10.7 in the AP slot.
Put your device in DOWNLOAD mode.
Uncheck Auto reboot.
Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.
After flashing and ODIN reports PASS immediately reboot to recovery by holding POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN.
As soon as the screen goes blank change to VOL UP whilst still holding POWER + HOME.
You should now see TWRP recovery.
Yep finally figured out the one finger deal from vol down to vol up. Installed and working fine now.
