Salut, poti urma metoda din link-ul de mai jos, in postul 98 ai indicatii cum sa instalezi firmware JM1 care este pe telefoanele Samsung Galaxy S de la Orange. Dupa ce instalezi JM1 trebuie sa modifici CSC-ul si sa il setezi pe ORO. Dar sa te intreb ceva mai inainte, iti intra in recovery sau download mod? Al meu, tot de la Orange nu intra, dar am aplicat o metoda de pe forum si a mers.

Salut.
Am incercat un update pe kies si s-a intrerupt in mijlocul operatiei. Acum am reusit sa il pornesc in download mode. (dupa cum am inteles de la tine). (sunt incepator). Ce trebuie sa fac mai departe sa il readuc la starea initiala?

I wanna update my p7-L12 EMUI 2.3 to EMUI 3.0.. and i don't see where is this UPDATE.APP in this page emui .com /plugin.php?id=hwdownload
Only i found L00, L05-07, L09 but not L12...
Anyone know about this?

First you must change the variant of your P-12 to P-10 with EMUI 2.3. There are some people who have already done this change, I also had P-12 installed in my cell phone, "Latinoamerican version" and I took the risk of changing ROM, it is very simple, you can find many roms to download, I started with B126, then B-133, B135, B136, B138 and B602 which works with 3.0 EMUI. It is not possible to talk in spanish despite that I am LatinoAmerican, but the thing is this forum is only in English and one of the mandatory rules to post here in XDADEVELOPERS is to write in English, otherwise the information you put here will be deleted and you might be banned. No pierdes nada, antes mejor pues el L-12 esta muy desactualizado y al pasarte a la version L-10 antes se actualiza y va más rapido y estable, te recomiendo buscar la ROM con la versión general sin operadora. Be careful, never install ROMS with L-00 variant since these roms are for Chinese versions with double sim card.. Good luck and remember read first before performing any change and do it at your own risk...

i decided download this because not are associate to enterprise telephony.

copy update.zip (don't extract it) in your sdcard/dload folder and then open updater app and choose update from local

You do not need to uncompress the FOLDER UPDATE.ZIP, just put it in the /dload folder and UPDATE with ACTUALIZACIONES Y ACTUALIZACION LOCAL del propio menu del celular, no lo hagas por los 3 botones porque cuando lo instales te saldrán errores. The zip file must be 600mb.

i don't get any updates and i'm still on EMUI 2.3 so i decided to change to global version p7-l10
could you help me please and tell me what i want to do this ?

I'm im l12 variant an change it to l10 with b133 you can try the same. download the update, extract the update.app and put in sd root \dload, then just apply the local update from update menú.

Just to share a few tips for some L12 owners that purchased B119 devices (in my case also arrived unlocked). After try almost all ROMs unsuccessfully (FAIL message while verifying package) I tried a VENDOR CUST (from B133 package) and after a really long formatting phase it end the process (with a FAIL message but at the end). Reboot. After that the only ROM that worked was a B119 of L10 (I used SPAIN one) and it end the process (again with a FAIL message at the end). Reboot. After that I chose B133 (general) and it worked (again with a FAIL message at the end). Now I'm just waiting for B621 download to install. hi everyone,
i have an xperia z c6603 and i belive i have a baseband problem because i don t get any 4g
i got it from vodafone (ro) but it s unlocked, i ve also unlocked the bootloader , rooted, nut dualrecovery, and have the existenz ultimate ,292 rom, even with the stock rom i still don t get any 4g.
I tried to flash via flashtool only baseband from some versions of ZL
also, if i have a custom rom , i mean the existenz rom (i noticed it dosen t have .ftf files, it has normal files) can i use flashtool for baseband? (or kernel etc ) or it s useless.
advanced info: (from cpu/ram device identifier app) : cpu Qualcomm apq8064 (i know that Qualcomm MDM9215M supports all the bands)
pcb Qualcomm MSM8960

Since I am also on Vodafone and have a phone exactly like you do, are you sure they gave you a 4G compatible SIM? Especially if you put in your phone a SIM from a previous phone. If you aren't sure, go to Vodafone and tell them you need a 4G compatible SIM, and they will give you one free of charge (that's what I've done).

believe me, i have :angel: i went many times at their store, i m 100% sure the sim is 4g ( also you need to have a 4g option-wich i have). they simply have no idea what to do, too bad can t find the warranty.
Do you get 4g?
Also do you have the same phone model as me?

Exactly the same model (C6603) and also unlocked. And how I said I am also on Vodafone. I don't have any problem with the 4G connection, it works fine. You said you flashed a baseband from ZL. Maybe this is the problem. Try flashing back the baseband from Z. Maybe it will work.
If nothing works and you are sure the SIM supports 4G, I think it's hardware related.
Flash the baseband from a stock ROM. It will clear any compatibility issues (if any).

acum am vazut ca esti roman deci, eu initial, stock nu mergea 4g, am un rom bazat pe stock cu cateva modificari, cu basebandul original nu merge, nici cu cel de zl (am vazut ca cei din canada care au flashuit doar baseband de zl au remediat problema) si dupa update ul la 5,0,2 nu merge, altceva nu stiu ce sa i mai fac, doar daca stii daca o avea antena separat de 4g , eu am mai umblat in el, are difuzor de nokia pentru ca are mai putini ohm si se aude mai tare si mai bine. Daca ai putea te rog sa instalezi de pe gplay cpu/ram/device identifier si sa imi spui ce zice la chipset acolo la procesor, am auzit ca la diferite chipseturi au frecvente disponibile diferite pentru 4g. de ex eu am pcb Qualcomm MSM8960 si ar trebui teoretic pentru toate benzile (international) sa am Qualcomm MDM9215M , desi logic fiind cumparat de la vodafone... ma rog....

Esti sigur ca ai MSM8960? Daca e asa, ceva e bizar in legatura cu telefonul tau. Chipset-ul de la Xperia Z este Qualcomm MDM9215M / APQ8064, care este un Snaprdragon S4 Pro. Dupa ce spui tu telefonul tau s-ar putea sa nu fie un Xperia Z. Si MSM8960 nu cred ca suporta 4G, fiind un S4 Play de o generatie destul de veche . Cauta pe Play Store aplicatia AIDA64 si posteaza o poza cu specificatiile aici in thread.

Eu in meniu am avut intodeauna lte ul, pe orice soft fie stock fie custom deci teoretic ar trebui sa mearga :-? si la *#*#7378423#*#* la retele suprotate apar ca in a 2a captura ltebc 1 3 5 7 8 20 deci practic are 4g, :laugh: deci mi am luat teapa tocmai de la vodafone? :laugh:
ps, in aida64 (poate n am gasit eu) nu vad chipset ul, zice motherboard (aia msm8960) (board nu i tot aia cu chipset, board e placa , chipset e setul de cipuri puse pe o pcb)
atasez a 3a captura cu screen din cpu/ram

Telefonul e bun si se pare ca suporta LTE. Incearca sa faci flash din nou la un .ftf stock fara root sau custom recovery (incearca kitkat si nu lollipop) (si fa un full wipe la tot inafara de sdcard). Activeaza 4G dupa setarile initiale, si daca nu merge dai un restart la telefon (nu inchide internetul mobil inainte de restart) (la ROM-urile care le-am folosit mai era problema asta, doar dupa un restart recunostea internetul mobil). Daca nici asta nu a functionat,, fa din nou flash la un baseband de C6603 si vezi daca merge. Daca nu, sper ca ai un backup la bootloader (TA partition). Fa din nou lock la bootloader folosindu-te de backup. Daca toti pasii de mai sus au esuat si esti sigur ca cartela ta suporta LTE sau 4G, sunt de parere ca e problema de hardware si nu ai ce face, asa ca trebuie sa il duci la garantie (pastreaza bootloader-ul locked si nu fa root din nou).
EDIT: Scoate SDcard-ul inainte de a respecta toti pasii. Sa nu ai vreo surpriza ca il sterge

Sa blochez bootloaderul era singura varianta care nu o incercasem, din pacate, nici asta nu merge (nu prea are treaba bootloader cu reteaua, el e doar un flash separat care permite sau nu instalarea de softuri prin programe gen EMMA bazate pe fastboot) nu am avut nici un backup dar cu flashtool ai tot ce iti trebuie la BLU, il si deblocheaza il si blocheaza. Asta e, nu mor fara 4g, oricum imi merge in jur de 11 mb/s pe hspa+, unde e semnal puternic ajunge aproape de 14, doar ca na, ma ofticam de ce sa nu am mai mult, mai ales ca am nelimitat net (bonusul de la oferta cu 6 eur). Cat despre garantie. . . nu mai am (telefonul il am de la cineva si am observat ca imei ul nu corespunde cu cel din certificat) Mersi de ajutor.

Locking the bootloader folosind flashtool-ul nu e un lock real, datele telefonului ce confereau securitatea nefiind acolo. Oricum, poate 5.1 repara 4G-ul cine stie

Trebuie sa ai bootloader-ul deja locked.

Dacă vrei sa îl folosești pe digi 4 g, nu merge digi folosește 4g tdd, Vodafone și Orange folosesc 4g fdd, am și eu 6603 Xperia z, și nu pot folosi pe digi

Descarca Sony companion, și da repair îți repara tel și dacă nu mai boot-eaza, îți pune soft original și găsești pe cea cum sa roboțeii 5.1.1

It's important for VoLTE and modem power saving and signal strength stuff to choose the right region.
But other regions should work fine.

Hola, yo puse la rom de brazil y hasta el momento anda perfecto, pero te recomiendo hacer un hardreset después de instalar.

My experience is restricted to Germany
The sodp custom ROM project wants to achieve an universal volte support.

Soy de México y uso la Custom GEL y sin ningún problema. Igual si buscas ser root busca una que sea .618 de preferencia.

Hello, I was seeing that this time, the Chinese version and the global version are the same. It will be easier if I buy it in China to install the global version with all languages later? Even now it may be easier to change the rom of the oppo find x2 pro which is the one I currently have.

Another user in the x3 forum had a Chinese version and it apparently was not the same.

https://www.coloros.com/en/rom ..if only I had an X2pro, not a X3pro with ChinaROM. My AliExpress [HongKong] purchased X3pro has English, but the SYSTEM apps, App Store not GooglePlay [instead one all Chinese], & back-up are not Google-1 with GoogleDrive [ instead HeyTap], & ChinaROM Native assistant is BREENO: Chinese Language only, Further SMSs and data are often labeled as international even as my use is only USA to USA, with USA SIM. [LOL, my X3pro actually suggested I use data SIM-less to avoid charges. & and while I can change the SMS app to Textra every incoming text switches it back to ChinaROM default]
I await the website to have X3pro ROMs, but I may still be blocked from applying them, & the actual hardware version can differ. I once made the error of using a ROM for a same name device, when different markets/countries had slightly different hardware.. Flashed naively. Did not function but was able to restore.

Fears confirmed by their email reply. Take care not to order X3pro with ChinaROM unless yo like it that way!
"Unfortunately, because the device was manufactured for the Chinese market, It is different from the devices that are manufactured for the European market and the U.S.A. as here there are other laws and other software features that needs to be used. As the phone came from the manufacturer to comply with the Chinese market, the phone cannot be changed or modified to work as an European phone or an American one in this case."

En mi opinión, la fabricación es la misma, lo único que cambia esta vez es el software.pero aún no se ha descubierto cómo dejarlo con rom global como otros teléfonos.

That would have been my guess, but I'm less sure given the OPPO-UK official support reply. They may not really know, but claim its hardware too, not just the software. "Cannot be changed or modified " may simply mean software blocked.

It could be they have some small tweaks in the hardware that makes the rom incompatible.
You would need an experienced person to help with that.

I bought china version and install Google play store everything is good just like international version one.

Yes, Play store works, but default locked to a Chinese store. System apps all Chinese, cannot turn them off, e.g.News , [inferior] Messaging App keeps taking over from a default selection citing Security [Textra] , Chrome browsing triggers occasional warnings [claims of international data when actually US<->US, launcher selection locked, Backup locked out from Google-1, only using a Chinese one. Minor but annoying: temperature locked to Celsius when I 'live' in Fahrenheit.
I hope you can advise work-arounds.
