Is it possible to use style for one theme and using the keyboard layout from another theme?
Might require to copying file from one theme to another....i guess...

Themes modify the system files, they aren't independent.
If you get a theme for a rom, it will modify things all around the rom.
If you get a theme for a program (adw) it will modify things inside the program only.
for example, I'm interested in using the ZEN theme or the minimalist theme. Can I use my LauncherPro after I flash the theme?
I have a htc desire running CM7.0.3 with the Sculpted theme (latest version, applied with CM7's Theme Chooser).
I've looked at the folders in the apk file and i can replace the .png files to get a different background for notifications. I also want to change the font colors for the notification. Is there a file in the theme apk that i can edit to change the font colors?
I've read another post about editing the framework-res.apk file from the phone. does that work with CM7's theme chooser themes?
Thanks in advance

If this is in the wrong forum, please move for me, could not determine where to ask this...
A quick question, I hope someone can point me in the right direction....
On Theme Chooser themes, how can I take a theme and integrate it into a ROM so it is the "default" of "system" theme. I know I can just migrate the graphics over to the proper files (framework-res and systemUI) but there are also quite a few xml files involved, and no easy way I can tell as to where to put these or how to use them as their filenames don't all match the original files in the ROM. When you apply a Theme Chooser theme, it does not effect the atcual framework files, correct? In other words, if you aplly the theme you can't just copy the frameowrk and systemUI files to capture it. I tested this and from I could tell, it did not work like that. I hope this makes sense, very much looking forward to any help someone experienced with this can offer.
I'm looking to learn to theme. I've read all of the stickied posts at the top here, and have a basic understanding. What I really want to do is modify this theme to have these statusbar icons and this statusbar.
I decompiled the ICS theme using APK Manager. When I open the ICS theme, I go in and find "Statusbar_backgroung.png". Then I copy the statusbar from the labeled iphone theme (I resized it to 320x25px) and save it as the same, so I have replaced one with the other. However, there are like 3 or 4 statusbar.png's in the ICS theme, some are .9.png's. Also, the one that is just called "statusbar_background.png" in the original ICS theme is just a small block, and I am replacing it with one that is 320x25.
That is all I'm trying to do for now, just modify the statusbar of that theme. Once I get that working, I'll try the icons. My problem is it won't compile using APK manager once I've changed the statusbar. It starts, but then I get an error.
Did any of that make any sense? I must be tired...
I'm on Windows, and I've been trying to do this for ages.

Well, I have the ics theme, all I really want is the ICS Theme with the iPhone labeled theme statusbar and the suave miui theme statusbar icons. It would be much appreciated if you did it for me, but at the same time I want to learn so I can do it by myself in the future.
Thanks! Any help is appreciated!

Would somebody who has a very good knowledge of Cyanogenmod 11 or a developer please help me
It involves changing the default theme from Holo to another theme, like one from the Play Store. I have the apk on my computer. I decompiled the framework-res.apk but I simply could not figure out how to do it
If your wondering why, I want to make a new ROM but I need to make a certain theme the default theme
Any help greatly appreciated
