strange perhaps my question , but it is just a question . sorry if I offensed some people:angel: . ( no my goal )
a question on what I would like to know XDA forum members .
why everytime russian or chinesse belonging what we r looking for here like one S S-off ?
and they never want to share it or just head devs on the ways by what they proced ?
why not too build tool and selle it to us ? sure we will buy it , instead send one Phone from bermuda triangle :highfive: .
Contrary to XDA devs who leak us things freely and share source iwith some tips to guide us .
is it Chinesse and Russian Like that ? I think no . what you think about it ?
but the best also is you are free to do what you want with your things ; so hmmmmm , humm nothing . just think of others .
I love XDA politic , I learned by Xda , I couldn't thx XDA ... may god give you knowledge to improve XDA .

If I'm understanding the OP correctly, they are asking why people/developers from certain countries are less likely to share rooting methods and software? As that could clearly offend people from those countries, thread closed.

Everyone don't know MokeeOS OpenSource ROM for P880?
In this ROM (that i use daily without bugs) in official release of today there is HALO integration..for our P880!!

Edit: If HALO comes officially into a P880 ROM I'm installing it right away. A feature I've always needed.

ROM is Great..bugs is the same as cm10.1..so if there is a bug on cm10.1,there is the same bug on mokee..
but in last release is very smooth,stable..not much battery drain..so it's good..
try to believe..

The ROM doesn't boot for me. It stays stuck on the MokeeOS OpenSource logo screen for quite a while

Bootanimation for AOSB roms

As a gift to the community of AOSB rom i did a custom bootanimation which images are copyrighted to me so if you like it or share it in other threads please all i ask is to thank and credit where is due. Lot of work creating this so is the least i ask.

there is a new version of it with changes and new ideas. Will upload soon but the file is about 18mb big that I run with no problems :laugh: :silly:

I will make this BA universal for any rom usin Atrix HD logo

Dude, I like this bootanimation a lot. Is there any way you could make the exact same one but, black & red? And if any way possible add sound? I'd really appreciate it. I've been working ever since the first AHD ROM to customize a bootanimation to have sound and be black and red and there's always something wrong and never sound.

Cant promise a lot but for the Global bootanimation I think I can make few with different colors.
As for sound is impossible right now as all those files been removed from CM

It's not easy to fork such specific mods to higher android revisions, often work begins on 4.2 when 4.3 is completed for example so the company chooses to use a lower base.
Like for example, only recently Lewa added 4.2 support It's better to look at the chinese firmware as sep. from CM/AOSP in a sense, as far as function goes

this rom is very fast，and yes, WiFi Tether do not work，I think this will be my daily use，thanks again

Good looking rom. It have some miui taste to it. But unfortunately is not for me due to tethering and kitkat floating around. Thanks for sharing though.

I tried it and it looks good, it's easy to set themes, feels smooth... But I had too many FCs. First of all with the Gapps (PA), then when using the camera, the gallery. I tried to keep the ROM but eventually I got stuck in a "Launcher stopped working" loop, so I couldn't do anything else. I had to uninstall it. But generally it's a good ROM, even if is 4.2.2, just need to fix those bugs. Also, there are some sections with chinese language only. For example, in the first boot, the first thing that you see is a chinese screen. I don't even know what I choosed, lol.

If this will be abandoned it will be the second time we get false hope amd get nothing to hear why. But araca has been offline (or no activity for a long time) so maybe he has something more important to do, who knows

hey guys a whole month has passed since the last post on here.

now that lollipop works fine on my p7, i just look forward to change everything and put a cm..

Its a no go man, both devs that started a thread like this dropped the development, or hasnt come online in a long time.
If you want an aosp rom, youll have to build it yourself.
