Hello all,
I have the 16 GB version of the 2013 moto X. When connected to my PC it says "668 MB of 11.8 GB available". Now I know that it is normal not to have an actual 16 GB available. HOWEVER, when I open my device (and I have the view option "show hidden files" activated in my browser) and select everything that's in there, I only get 5.9 GB.
So where did the other +- 5 GB go to?!?
Does anybody have an idea? I'm running android 4.4.4 stock ROM, no rooting whatsoever.
All help appreciated.
Kind regards.
what does it say for "available" if you do a factory reset, and install nothing?

Re flash old Stock version u had.
I have just unmount and mount the card now is seems to work
i don't want to flash the old rom is was in kka kl8 is much moore fluid
I had the same problem yesterday, with stock rom.
My Note restarted itself when the phone was on the table, and this happend two times in a day.
I discovered it because of the startup sound and the PIN-code screen appeared.
I had a suspicion that my SanDisk 8 gb micro-SD was the culprit so I removed this and went back to using only the built in 16 GB storage.
It seems that this took care of the problem. I have to buy another SD though..
hey guys!
i`m using Stefan Gündhör`s Gueste2X_GoodBye-2.0, kernel version 2.6.32.9-guestekrnL-v2.2.1-HOC-SC ROM and i`m have a little problem:
is not that this ROM has any bugs, the same problem i`ve had it with stock GB ROM.
the screen it keeps wakeing up from time to time and it`s a real bugger mainly because it power drain and makes you look at the phone every
time its lit up.
after several searches with the help of app: betterbatterystats it came to me that the sreen is wakeup by kernel wakelock:
Since Boot:
mmc_delayed_work
18 m 48 s (1128 s) Cnt: (c/wc/ec)42319/2749/00.4%
Count: 42319
Expire Count: 0
Wake Count: 2749
Total Time:2105460
Sleep Time: 1128708
Max Time: 26092
Can anyone help me with a solution for this problem?
How can I stop this to lit the screen so offten?
Is there a problem with the memory card (which otherwise works perfectly, 8gb microsd, class 4, taken from nokia 5800, former communication device)?
10q very much!!!
Hello,
I had the SAME problem with some other LG android device with stock ROM, all I did is upgraded to unofficial ICS and changed the baseband.
I don't think it was a baseband problem, don't change that cuz imo it's too risky.
I would suggest to start clean from beginning from the AIO tool, from layouts, installing CWM, clean/wipe/factory reset from CWM and flash a new ROM you desire.
That way you would be sure that there are no leftovers.
Or just enter CWM without re-flashing layouts and CWM and do a wipe/clean/factory reset on all options and flash a new ROM.
Also check out the SD card and delete all the unnecessary stuff like ANDROID folder and etc that your older ROMs created earlier.
solved
the solve of the problem was quite simple... i had tu uninstall youtube downloader!!!
and the problem dissapeared!
it was bit defender av which uncovered a trojan...
Hi there,
After odin update to 6.0.1 (n920cd, MID), internal memory size is shown as 16gb, instead of 32gb.
I know that flashing stock recovery and performing a factory reset is supposed to fix it, but i was wondering if anyone found a quicker way around this (without spending another 2-3hrs to re-setup the phone).
Thanks in advance
I recently went from Android 8.0 to 9. Everything worked well except that I just realized that I have only 16 GB of internal storage instead of the original 64. If anyone could enlighten me. thanks in advance. I did not do anything except that of putting the official rom with odin.
Do a search , as I remember somebody with the same issue got specific answers to solve it
only that for my problem?

I could not figure out why the system update always told me I was up to date, then today I found out Android 11 has been out for a while, so I want to update to it, mostly to get resizeable mini-player and other features from Android 11.
I bought the phone with the 865 plus version, 12G ram and 256Gb storage. When I first opened it I got a weird menu, I remember pressing the "continue to load" button somewhere and it booted into Android and I never saw that menu again.
According to the system info I'm on version 17.0823.2007.32, WW Rom.
Can I just download the latest version from the ROG website, put it on my phone via USB and update, will I lose any apps/photo's? Is it even compatible with this Tencent global rom version?
Yes, you should be good, you won't lose your stuff although always advised to take a backup. Download the version you need, place it at the top of your internal storage (i.e not in any folders etc) and reboot. The device should detect the rom and do a system upgrade.
I wonder this too

Hello!
You can do that I'm order to upgrade your phone. You just need to go to the link below and download in your phone the updated firmware and move it to the root of the SD, after that, you reboot your phone and it will automatically identity that you have an update pending, click to the notification and follow the process, at the end you will have to restart your phone and voilà, updated to version 158, which is the latest one.
