I had installed CM10 on my optimus 2x but I had a problem with the rom so I tried to flash another rom.
By mistake I wiped data, davlik-cache and everything else. So I don't have a backup. When I try to install another rom through TWRP is says that it failed and afterwards it says No OS installed, Are you sure you want to reboot?
Please I only want to return to the original stock rom and upgrade from that to ICS. I found the guide on how to update to ICS so all I'm asking for is how to get out of this No OS installed trouble.
I appreciate alll effort.

Hi Mate dont panic it´s easy to fix have u try any Nflash procedure yet ?
Try Stefans V28G via nflash:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1986097
Direct link: http://d-h.st/PNj
Installation NVFlash version (under Windows): (internal SD will be wiped, /data partiton can be saved and restored with 2nd generation builds)
download the ROM, unpack it with WinRar, 7Zip or similar to any folder you want
take battery out of phone, press VOL + AND VOL - simulataneously, and while doing this plug the phone via USB to your PC
screen of phone remains black, this is normal, but you should hear a sound that you plugged the device. Probably you have to install APX drivers at this point if you are asked. They are included in the latest NVFlash builds. Tutorial on driver installation: http://www.modaco.com/topic/335416-n...-links-active/
assuming that you already installed APX drivers: run the "flash_windows.bat" file in the folder where you extracted the ROM
follow the instructions
That's already it Usually no complications to be feared. Enjoy!

You can connect phone to pc and copy a cm10, don't reboot phone, you must mount mass USB storage. Copy and flash: )
Inviato dal mio LG-P990 con Tapatalk 2
Will try it out
Thanks Domfis and Creison, I will try it out and see what happens. I hope it works :fingers-crossed: out cause I really do not wish to change my phone now that official ICS is out. If I manage to do this I will wait till summer to change my phone. Currently using my old nokia 3310

i suppose you're on the old bootloader? then just use AIO Toolkit ->> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2020737
Use Option 4, then you'll get the new bootloader and CWM installed. Afterwards just flash a ICS Rom or CM10(ICS BL) via CWM!
error

Since data is lost anyway, try running AIO toolkit to reflash the bootloader which also fixes recovery and partitions.
hi I had clockwork recovery and wanted to change it to TWRP. I flashed the immage and now all the files are gone. I'm a newby to android and really need your help. Do I have to completely reflash everything from scratch or is there anpother method? Please help
Do I need to reinstall the Rom or can I somehow get my recovery back? Thanks in advance
So I was trying to install AICP on my HTC one and I didn't made a backup of my previous rom (Paranoid Android). I thought that there won't be any problem. So then i wiped dalvik cache and cache partition and also my /sdcard/. And by fault, i also wiped /system. I was using CWM before and then i tried to sideload the rom files and Gapps using adb sideload but it failed. I even tried to flash Cyanogenmod-10 and the previous ParanoidAndroid rom files but it kept aborting the installation. I also pushed(adb push) the files into /sdcard dir and tried to flash them but it failed too. So then, i thought to replace the recovery and flashed TWRP 2.6.3.3. And then the same thing happens. INSTALLATION FAILS!
Please HELP me guys.
Thanks, And my sister has another HTC One. The same model. But she won't allow me to root her phone. So if there is any way to copy her One's rom without rooting or flashing AfterMarket recovery. Please tell me..
Thanks Again !
Well recently i got cyanogen rom on my atrix hd . I regret it. I lost all contacts and everything. Fortunately i have a stock rom back up. UNfortunately the backup is for safestrap and for some reason after flashing cm it went to clockwork recovery. The backup is on my pc by the way. So i tried to install safestrap from the app but it just goes to clockwork and i cant find any recovery folder for my backup PLUS my sd card is busted. So heres where I need help either i need safestrap which isnt working or a way to get my backup from my pc to clockwork recovery and hope its compatible. Any help is appreciated.
hey guys,
i got a problem with my m7. yesterday i flashed the current gpe firmware for the m7 (that one without stock recovery & boot img). i read in the lineage thread that the rom benefits from it in terms of battery endurance, so wanted to give it a try.
the firmware flash process was done without any problems. i entered the recovery (twrp 3.0.0-2) and i wiped everything except usb-otg. twrp showed me that every partition was wiped successfully. i plugged in my usb cable to copy the lineage rom and gapps on the phone, but then i noticed that it somehow didnt work. i checked the internal storage of my phone and noticed that all the files i "successfully" wiped before still were there.
i flashed back to the firmware i had before (7.19.401.51 without modifications etc.) because i hoped it would give me access to the internal storage but unfortunately the problem remained the same.
now i cant copy anything on the phone to flash some new roms and stuff and i cant use it because theres no rom installed.
guys please help me if you can i really appreciate it! (sry for any mistakes im not a native english speaker)
Maybe flash latest version of twrp might help you? https://dl.twrp.me/m7univ/
hey mate,
